I think DST and Indyra have said very good points. Though some in their own aggressive way I have found over the past few years of playing MD, that the more you complain about not getting your way, the more you don't get it. It like a child in a store whining for a box of cereal, or some toy out on display. The store puts those things out for the children to see and want, but most mothers don't get that toy because of the child's whining. Now as the child grows up, they learn that if they behave themselves and perhaps hint that the toy sure is a nice one. The mother is much more likely to get that toy out of the child's good behavior and effort to be mature about it. MD is like that store. There are so many more things out in the game to be discovered or re-discovered, should the right maturity and thought process go into it. Mur and now the "secret society" as i like to call them:D, are like the mother. Speaking in Mur terms only, he sees much more then any of us usually think he sees. He waits for you to show the proper criteria that you are ready for the 'gift'. Each 'gift' has its own criteria and you must prove that you are mature enough for such a thing. So usually the more whining done, especially in forums, the more whatever you are looking for is usually delayed. Of course there is a HUGE difference between whining, and constructive ideals, such as the rebellion system. I'm not trying to be rude and call you a whiner, or anyone for that matter. I'm just trying to show an analogy and a reason why MANY people don't get what they are wanting. Just as many children in those stores don't get what they want.

agreed with chewy. There isn't a large amount of heat stored, or maxed out that can't be used quickly through the current means.

its a very short time before you re-enter the world again. You will know it when it comes. As I suggested don't spend alot of 24 hour time being suck in the imaginary story. I think I used the 5 min timer most of the way through. The timer has no effect upon the story line itself, only your answers to the questions do. Once you are back to 'free roam mode' then you can resumed 24 hour if you like. Most likely you will be an MP4 long enough to finish the story mode. As I said before to make a long story mode is to pick very specific answers. For the most part it will end before long "under construction" as the story really isn't the essence of the game. It had more bearing LONG ago when I was a noob but creatures, stats, grinders, tokens, and a variety of other things have all become into play since then. I can not reveal the ways to get stats these days. This would in turn be a spoiler, and it's much better to experience it on your own. There are mentors of the fighting path, people who aren't endless grinders, and are willing to help you find your way. Feel free to ask around and you will find them quickly. Burns is a wonderful example, but there are many others.

Recruitment Selection Stage 1

it may be deceiving at first, but there is a wide variety of paths depending on which answer you choose. They each independently give different amounts, or sometime penalize, your attributes. They can also give special acess to certain restricted area's if you use the right combination. At MP5 it becomes even more so. Some people are known to have use the story for months using 24 hour bonuses. The story mode part where you are "locked down" doesn't last very long, and I would suggest not using 24 hour bonus during that time. Honestly anymore stats have become ALOT easier to build up since back in the day when story mode was much more important. Many people don't even use 24 hour mode when they are out of the "locked down" stage just do they can get through the story faster. This becomes even more apparent at MP5 when stat's really start to fly. The answers you choose in the story are much more important then the time frame itself. There are few combination's of answers that lead to an end path, so its not easy to receive the access to restricted area's. Pay close attention to what the questions are and think outside the box so to speak. MP3 and MP4 story modes try and give you a basis for what decisions in the story you want to make as an MP5 (the last story line). Each MP class allows deeper access into the story line. SO try a few variations from the choices you made the first time and see where it leads you. *edit* removed possible spoiler.

I would have to agree for the most part that most vets haven't "forgotten" about MD if they chose to leave. MD is a very memorable game, if you have stayed long enough to see the actual workings of it, it will not be forgotten. When I leave it usually means I will never return. Most true gamers are like that. By the time they have gotten to the point of wanting to leave, there is no turning back. I do want to point out though that the idea itself is very good. BFH you have shown alot of initiative in trying to get activity into the game. That is commendable and for that I hope people use positive criticism in your posts. Trying to help MD is always commendable, and not all ideas are fantastic. Keep on trying and I'm sure you will figure out the right way to show your dedication to keeping MD active. As yrth said the MDNP was, I thought, a very valuable part of the MD community when it was active. I know I, and I'm sure many others, enjoyed getting the newspaper. The problem was that it wasn't posted on a regular time frame, and became hard to manage and fill. Others have tried to restart it as well and failed. Perhaps you should look into using the MDNP as an advertising tool and explore that avenue. I'm sure Inno and some of the archivists would be willing to lend a hand.

It was surprisingly hard for me to try and come up with as many lines as the poem was. It's probally not very good, but I figured with the season I would make one around the Tribunal. I don't do youtube videos, or any online webcame stuff for that matter. But here is the written words and perhaps I will talk someone into making the video with it instead of me:D Twas the night before Murmas, and all through the East, Sephirah was preparing a wonderful feast. Xcercses was serving alchohol and wine, Truly the night was ever so fine. The Seal of Six were snug in their beds, With vision of chaos dancing in their heads. Phantasm in his cloak and Mur in his crown, Everyone had decided it was time to settle down. When out of the grave there rose such a clatter, We all sprang forth to see what was the matter. Through Jester’s street we saw in a haze, A figure of old was wandering adaze. The sun beat down upon the cold hard stones, The figure aloud did shiver and moan, What to our eyes did we ever see, Granos Del Void laughing with glee. With little reigndrachs, so lively and quick, We knew in a moment what ritual to pick. As our creatures began to assemble with haste, A strange look came Granos's his face. “Now Bootes! Now Woodin! Now Khalazdad and Jazira! On, Marvolo! On, Peace, On Sagey and Akasha! To the top the pub! To the top of the temple! Let us all make this Murmas so simple! As shadows that before the sun does fly, They all sprang together up into the sky. So they did jump up ever so high, A sight to be seen that made some cry. A twinkle in their eye, and a bag in each hand, Presents started to fall all across the land. As we caught the presents flying around, Back to the ground these veterans did bound. They were dressed in their medals and items of old, Oh how they shined like the legends retold. Creatures from the presents and much rarer things, Shades, and Santas, and Drachorns with wings. Their eyes how they twinkled! Their voices so merry! Apparently some of them had been drinking the sheri! All of us gathered round, so amazed by the sight, We all knew that this was the night. Murmas had come with such a delight, With veterans long gone once again in our sight. They remind us of days when things were so simple, With such crazy things as a mouse named pample. Together we joined in a day of Peace, So happy to be with those in the East. Mur smiled as bright as the crown on his head, We all knew tonight was a day for no dread. We spoke not a word, but went strait to the bar, With drinks for us all, from near and from far. The day we thought could not be more complete, When Mur himself stood on his feet. Aloud did he shout so that all could hear, “A thanks to you all for Murmas is here.” More presents did fall as he dissapeard from sight “A merry Murmas to all, and to all a good night.

Regarding Knaty's Quest And Closing The Tribunal Lands
phantasm replied to Muratus del Mur's topic in General Discussion
im not sure how all this came into play, but could all posts not relating to the specific quest and the thoughts/questions about it be removed. No need for slander or posts that don't relate to the current situations. Thank you Thank you too for your lovely backseat moding! dst -
perhaps you would have had better luck with the coincidence that they were from the same country. But then again, that could simply be friends helping out friends. It is seldom productive to bring something like this to the attention of the public without ALOT of prior consultation with others. Chewett, ShadowSeeker, and others are pretty keen at giving information and helping in cases of alt abuse if asked nicely. Often times things like this only end up giving you a bad reputation for slandering other peoples names. Wether the case it true or not, since like you said it is very difficult to prove them.

"Well, I'm willing to admit (and have) that language is, in itself, culturally bound on some level, but to say that language is >nothing< but interpretation seems false to me. I mean, even if that were the case, surely we all accept the same or similar presuppositions upon entering into a debate. For one thing, we all accept that English is the language to be spoken. Within that context alone the absolute meanings of words can be well established. Again, there is going to be some manner of cultural ideology and social limitations upon our speech, but nowhere near the 100% your post seems to suggest. Surely two intelligent individuals can exchange information using language and avoid some manner or even all manner of interpretation. Bias, no certainly not. But interpretation, I believe that's a possibility. Just because I understand something doesn't mean I need to accept it. If what you suggests is true (the way I understand it at least), then no one would ever learn or assimilate anything new..." Language, any language is flawed. It is why music is the only true identity of feelings, and or thoughts, without interpretation of the other. It is only interpretation of ones self. Which is what music is designed in nature to do. You are supposed to listen to it and not thing about what that person may be trying to say with the music, but what you are saying yourself by listening to the music. Of course for this to be infallible the music has to be without words.

Pythagorean triples Integer right triangles with nearly equal legs, derived from the Pell numbers. If a right triangle has integer side lengths a, b, c (necessarily satisfying the Pythagorean theorem a2+b2=c2), then (a,b,c) is known as a Pythagorean triple. As Martin (1875) describes, the Pell numbers can be used to form Pythagorean triples in which a and b are one unit apart, corresponding to right triangles that are nearly isosceles. Each such triple has the form (2P_{n}P_{n+1}, P_{n+1}^2 - P_{n}^2, P_{n+1}^2 + P_{n}^2=P_{2n+1}). The sequence of Pythagorean triples formed in this way is (4,3,5), (20,21,29), (120,119,169), (696,697,985), .... This is how we make square houses and figure rafter for custom roofs. Interesting the relation between the theory and the Pell numbers. Perhaps there is a relation to the build of the land, as the same with the squaring of a house? Or I may be way off with the assumption. *edited to elaborate* By that I mean perhaps two of the sides, the 4 fold along with N, can create the 7 related symbolistic. One side, with an unkown side slightly longer, creates the 7 side. Which in theory could be worked as 4fold*sq + N*sq= 7symbolic*sq

Day 339 Year 5: The Tribunal has once again become a place of difficulty to travel. The symbols at the temple seem to be more agitated then ever. Their existence still resides in and around the temple, but and energy seems to be building up in the air. A dark presence seems to be lingering as if trying to suppress the symbols. Phantasm seems unaware of the presence or the symbols increased energy. He continues to spend his time over the matters of the new King and the changing landscape. Pieces of the puzzle are scattered across many different documents now. Perhaps if the pieces were put together it would reveal the true relationship of the symbols? Perhaps a year has come and pass since the beginning of all of this, without even knowing it was the beginning..... So is this truly a beginning to a quest, or is it more??

is ludwig still around? I haven't seen him in some time and would like to hear from him shortly. Otherwise a decision will have to be made on his application.

i would much rather us talk about this in game then on the forum. Perhaps you and I can have a meeting on this. As far as an official statement here I can say: The Caretakers recruitment is still a very strict standard. Being a Caretaker is an extremely specific role, that most don't fit. I have been watching the applications of the treasure keepers, and of course if they were to become a part of the Caretakers, or a sub-form of them, we will have to discuss such things further in private. The Caretakers have no objection to your stance of having such a group of people. A member, and an apprentice have already posted their application for the job without my objection. We rather find it a good thing that will help with the Tribunal's growth to have such people. As all things there are people who would seek to further their own power by abuse of such an important job. Corruption and greed are things the Caretakers take great care to try and keep from destroying the nature of the land itself. If you see this in the next hour or so please contact me in game so we can discuss such matters further.

Public Request Towards Council Regarding Wp
phantasm replied to Muratus del Mur's topic in General Forum
to reiderate upon this posting AGAIN. This is copy/pasted from the discussion that SS linked. Further discussions can be found there. I felt it was important to repost this, especially with it being so close to Christmas again. Me and McVitie do not get along well at all, and I often find her presence rather irritating. So this is no way in standing up for her, it is standing up for why I gave the WP that was brought up. It was a detailed reason why I gave the WP, along with the low rating. "I agree they shouldn't be handed out all Willy Nilly like. I handed out ONE WP, for what I feel, is a good reason. Also keep in mind the scoring of WPs. If every WP is handed out for the hardest quests you can come up with, then why is there even a rating scale? It's there to mark the ease, effort of the WP earned. I gave that WP a very low rating as all she had to do to earn it was partake in Aelis Secret Reigndrach. To me really thats not much different then a quest, i'll be it an easy one. It was a preplanned, organized event, meant for fun for all. Are WPs never handed out at festival times for fun, and easy little games? I honestly don't know because often times I am not available when the festivals are taking place (during hours i work etc). Any of you remember waking up to Christmas morning, and your parents getting you exactly what you wanted? A Wish Come True. I feel no less as guilty then they would. I make no apologies for the WP being handed out, but do see that many disagree with it, and the likely hood of me ever handing out anything for Christmas again besides some coin is very slim. "
