The manager of the Three Coin Hotel in the tribunal (Lands of the East) has been called away and wants YOU to cover for him.  There is no salary, but you can get various rewards as tips from the hotel guests (mostly skills) and a even a wish point if you stick with it long enough.  Besides - what could be more fun?!

Oh Majestic Emperor of the unseen Bacons. With this, I present you with my humble looking dish, that cannot be missed at any feast. Alhough it looks simple, but do not underestimate it! A whole civilisation had to emerge, flourish and go in decay just to create this so simple and yet so tasty dish. It took almost 3 days to prepare and I believe me, I hate that cannot convey any smells and sounds as these were unbelievable. So...let us start
Ingredients you need are simple...some water, some flour, just a small pinch of yiest (unfortunately my sourdough is on vacation at the moment so I had to use some conventional yiest). Stir and wait...
When your new civilization is at rise, give it some more food to grow on - some flour, some water, some love, stir it well and let the magic do its work...

Fold your baby...at this point it needs a lot of care and patience but you will see how it changes and grows in return...

Once again fold it, mould it and wait until your very own civilization comes to flourish

And now, when it is on its best...its time for...the end of the world...make the fire do its job and enjoy unbelievable smell.

Once its done, you will be left with unbelievable, indulgent sinful loaf of bread...heritage of decayed world, essence of Shade Sentinel its midst that you can so shamefully and lustfully devour with a bit of butter and a pinch of salt...not much more is needed. Enjoy

Just putting my 2 cents here, not sure how difficult it will be to implement.
Could heat be gained through other activities beside combat, like gathering resources? 
Say 1000 heat for each herb picked, if i remember right that would mean 380 herbs to reach MP4 and 4200 herbs till MP5 (or 760/8400 with 500 heat/herb/ore/water/etc).
At MP5 heat is not much off an issue, but for solo playing MP3/4 it could help them get to higher levels and have something to do.

Just want to point out that this Test Contest overlaps with Day of Fear where a considerable amount of ppl already signed up for.

For those that would like to participate in both contests it will be like forcing them to pick one contest over the other.

My wish is basically the same as Shem`s second wish, an independent reality coagulator.
While i don`t have 1k fenths right now, i have gathered a few thousand fenths ever since the reality coagulator was introduced as shared item and fenths press became the place i spend most of my time in MD.

I really hate complicating myself every single time i wish to listen to music AND play MD while staying in a non-sanctuary area.

Get more council members/make them more active and get more coders/make them more active.



Reason:


Currently any changes that need to be done need to be coded, Clearly citizenship took a long time to program, and this was a major block on all other developments. If we had more people doing this thing then logically it would be faster, things would be fixed faster ect ect.


Council seems to slowish to do things, and community is always demanding stuff. Solution? more councillors and/or better ones. I think its time for a council reshuffle. Assuming that council works like a council (who would think that???) then logically they have a "head" or something. Why dont we appoint BFH as that head (being an active authoriative person) who would then be able to talk to people better. They wouldnt be entirely to blame since since they would mete out things however it would still be council based. Ofc if they were to blame they could still publically go "oh well i said no but the hidden council members all said yes so..." which would alleviate some pain. The whole point of me thinking its still good to keep some members hidden was Murs reasons, which i guess very few actually know because no one actually reads wtf he says and just goes "oh he is mur, he is magical, oh wow..."

I would finish all unfinished and not fully implemented ideas first before starting any of those very nice and awesome ideas which already exists on the forum and in our heads.

A few days ago I bought a copy of the new CD from my favorite band. The band needed 6 1/2 years to finish the work. I´m totally satisfied with the Album even when I had to wait a damn long time. See MD 6 1/2 years before was a bit more than an idea and today people enjoy being here somehow. The realm has grown a lot in this time and many ideas came into the minds of the visitors and even Mur was not able to finish (???) all of his started work. I have a long list of "What would I do?" but would love see the realm complete "working" first, before going into this any further - even when I would love to see new things implemented.

Hmmm... I would finish some of the amazing features MD has/had, but aren't implemented properly yet: clues, spell docs, principles, AL, land loyalty (loyalty, not score), balancing fighting/stats (anyone can beat anyone), add a bunch of cauldron recipes, balance viscosity, new MP6, next chapter for the story, new start, bring back Torch competition (perhaps combined with LL?), significance of dead... and many more lost treasures of MD. Sounds like a lot? Yeah, so many things seemingly forgotten, but I'll into a bit more detail to work out the possibly most important part of it.

Inner Magic:
The idea is fairly simple. First we will need a number of extra clues. By unlocking a number of these clues you will be able to obtain spell docs. This is where things get interesting. Using a cauldron like system, taking principles and/or resources instead of just resources, we will be able to make rituals to actually cast these inner magic spells.

This fairly simple (at least coding wise, as most things already exist, the actual writing of the clues and rituals is a lot more work) change should be able to bring back the spark of magic and bring back life to the clues, spell docs and principles, and expands a little on the cauldron.
