  1. I think it would be excellent for newer players, not necessarily people who have been playing 20 years ;)
  2. Add the different principles to the Inner Circle to represent the different principles. Since the Inner Magic is a physics engine, I started brainstorming different phyiscs principles to add to it. Adding our individual principles to the Inner Magic will dictate what we can produce. Cyclicity, "how things turn in cycles". Particles move in orbits and come back where they started nstead of vanishing. Their mass rises and falls over a 6-second cycle, and collisions lose almost no energy. It turns Entropy's decay into a loop. Balance, "everything has its counter part". Every particle spawns with a mirror twin that has the opposite charge and velocity, so total momentum is always zero. It pulls opposite pairs toward equal numbers. Elements, "the building elements of our world". There are four materials that counter each other in a circle. Fire is light, hot and rises. Water flows, holds heat and puts out fire. Earth is dense, rigid and grippy. Air is a gas that spreads out. Entropy, "all is meant to die". Everything has a half-life. Solids crumble into fragments, heat evens out across the scene, and bonds weaken over time. It's the only principle that can destroy something for good. Syntropy, "entropy itself is balanced". This is Entropy in reverse: fragments pull back together into crystals, heat gathers into hot spots, and broken bonds re-form. Where it meets Entropy, the two cancel out. Imagination, "erases the borders of our mind". Objects pass through walls, and you set each object's gravity yourself. It can create matter out of nothing and push the other principles' settings up or down by as much as half. Darkness, "nothingness equals infinity". This is a weightless field that soaks up all light and heat. The emptier a space is, the harder it is to move anything through it. It cancels Light one for one. Light, "hides secrets in plain sight". Light is fast, nearly weightless particles that push on whatever they hit and bounce off perfectly. Their glare hides things that are technically visible, and they don't favour good or evil. Time, "in the end they are all one". Each zone runs at its own speed, from 0.1x to 4x. However the steps are split up, they end at the same final state, and the simulation can be rewound up to 10 seconds. Transposition, "give memory to lifeless objects". It swaps properties between objects, such as mass for charge or position for position, which works like a teleport. It can unpin objects that are fixed in place, and objects remember their past paths so they can replay them.

He has my face on his hat... I like it
  4. This is awesome! Does it do a satisfying click assembly too like the Lego games used to do?
  5. Im sure you wouldn't want to be bothered by me all the time lol
  6. Right now, if you open instructions while in a cauldron, you get taken out and then have to reenter the cauldron. What if we had the instructions open up on the same page and we can enter very limited notes on our instructions? Kinda like writing in the margins of your text book. I know notepad etc exist and I do use them, but this would be a massive upgrade to... an undercover area of MD
  7. Can we be able to open instructions while using cauldrons. And inside those instructions we can make our own notes?
  8. No wonder why theyre called the Soldiers of the Inner Sun... going Super Nova there lol
  9. Quest names could get a temporary avatar from the shop too so we can "show off" hidden avatars to potential buyers... just a thought but not a serious one.
  10. Greetings, fellow wanderers of the realm, I'd like to suggest a feature that lets players temporarily change their displayed name, purely for quest and event purposes. Yes, I know. That's a super powerful ability, and it's open to abuse. That's exactly why I'm asking for something designed with quest makers in mind rather than a free-for-all. Here's my situation. I'm currently making half a dozen alts for a week-long event. Every one of them has to get through GWI, which is a real investment of time, and each needs its own email and password to create and keep track of. All of that effort goes into characters that only need to exist for a single week of storytelling. A few ideas for how it could be kept safe: Approval only. Name changes are granted by staff or tied to an approved quest or event. Time-limited. The name reverts automatically when the event ends. Clearly marked. Something like a small icon or a tooltip showing the real character name, so nobody can use it to impersonate or scam. No combat or trade use. It could be limited to roleplay, chat and quest scenes. Logged. Every change is recorded so staff can review it. This would save quest makers hours of setup, keep the account count down, and let us bring more characters, villains and NPCs to life in our events. Can something like this be designed for those of us building content for the realm? I'd love to hear what others think, and whether anyone has ideas for making it safer. 11. The Shattered Epitaph The Makers' Circle presents a Halloween event Beneath the oldest yew in Necrovion lies a small grave with no name upon it. The tombstone once held a portrait of a little girl, chiseled in bone-white marble, and danced in the moonlight. No one living remembers who she was. The Wardens will say only this: the Lantern Wraith visits that grave more than any other, the lamp still burns for her long after every other light has gone out, and on quiet nights a child's laughter drifts between the stones. Two nights ago a storm tore through the Yard. By dawn the portrait lay shattered in fifty pieces, flung across the graves by a wind that smelled of something older than rain. Now the Lantern Wraith has made a decree: whoever restores her face first shall be rewarded. But the Wardens have sworn to guard every grave, and to them, anyone picking through the stones looks like a grave-robber. Starts When: October 24th at 11:45 PM server time, at the Gate of Necrovion. The hunt runs through Halloween and ends with a closing ceremony on October 31st. Prizes: The first to restore the portrait receives a commemorative item. Every participant receives Halloween Candy, though it isn't quite like ordinary candy. Sometimes you get a trick instead. How to Play Fragments ride the wind. Shards will fall into chat throughout the event. Claim one by speaking the words I lay this shard to rest. Others are tucked away in clickables across the realm, and some may be slipped into your messages by an unseen hand. Search every corner, because the wind is strong this time of year. The Caretakers keep their own. Approach one and say Caretaker, I seek the Epitaph. Answer their riddle or complete their task and you'll walk away unharmed maybe even with a fragment of the epitaph. You may choose to stand your ground instead. It's unwise, but you do you. Mind their patience. If you're chased off, wait at least 5 minutes before approaching that Caretaker again. Fail a riddle while standing your ground and no Caretaker will deal with you for 10 minutes. This is your only warning. Two a day, no more. You may win at most 2 fragments from any one Caretaker each day. The dead remember everything. Some fragments are given only to those who know the right words, so read carefully. Restore her face. The first to send the Lantern Wraith the complete, correctly assembled portrait wins. Rest now, little one. Someone will find you.
  12. The Cartographer's Cypher got an upgrade. With that a new reward.
  13. Ill verify shortly.
  14. With the prevalence of spells, perhaps this should be a bit more common?
  15. First, my second-place ranking only reflects how long it's been since the scores were last updated, reflection on the poor management of CARD and how its entire premise was to target specific people even when evidence was brought up of others depleting. Second, I did not deplete GWI. That claim is simply false. I ended up on the island by mistake, after following Wodin without realizing where it would take me, and someone followed me there. Yes, I gathered some resources, but as far as I recall I stuck to the 1/3 rule throughout. There was one exception, and I'll own it. On mobile, I misclicked and picked the wrong tool, which depleted the branches in one scene. It was a genuine accident, and other scenes on the island still had plenty left. Even so, BSR reacted as though the whole island had been stripped bare, and accused us of depleting every scene. If you believe the entire island was wiped to zero, it's because that story was passed around without anyone checking it.
  16. How about 2 minutes for Mp3 and 4 and 5 minutes for Mp5?
  17. They dont even care he's depleting Loreroot. They wont do anything. Loreroot has become silent since Aia has departed.
  18. What if each section of the forum had its own pictures and stuff? Eggy could help out with it?
  19. Nice to see my stoned ramblings require such a response
  20. I will verify shortly Edit: Congratulations Invie for being the first to solve the Cypher! Delivered.
  21. I literally said fuck yes when I read that first sentence. Yes. Nice compromise.
  22. I bid that the Quadrature gets turned into a casino where we can play all these games :) Its right by the bar. Chewett? I dont know if theres anythign inside or not but...
  23. Reward the super dedicated. Its not meant for everyone to achieve.
  24. But you're guilty until proven innocent in MD, everyone has their pitchforks ready lol
