1. I would like to sell or trade two of my Sharptears. Ages are as of Day 283. Sharptear 1: Heat: 341064 Age: 104 Tokens: None Reserve: 10sc Sharptear 2: Heat: 660978 Age: 127 Tokens: Claw III Reserve: 12sc I don't have anything that I'm particularly looking to trade for, but I'm open to suggestions. Have a nice day!
2. I've met a couple of people who have it as their last name, but as far as I know it doesn't mean anything in any language that I've checked. It could be derived from something, though. The closest thing I personally know of to Fenth is Fenthion, which is an insecticide.
3. Thank you Rumi I actually used what I learned doing my design in RL in order to build a pond area in the park as part of a community improvement initiative. Never would've happened if not for you and MD! I look forward to your next design quest!
4. I found what I was looking for. Could a Mod please close this topic?
5. I don't think that this is a very good idea either. I like some of the changes that viscosity has brought to the Realm and, while I do sometimes get frustrated when I'm stuck somewhere, it does make sense... You keep saying "affinity". To me, affinity with a scene would be judged on how much time you've spent on a scene, not how many visits you have there. For example, I'm someone who spends a lot of time running around. I have 2k visits to scenes that I've never said a word on, just because I have to pass through those scenes in order to get to where I actually want to be spending my time. Also, it would quickly negate the raising of all of the Land Gate's ap cost. People could get into Necrovion within their first couple of weeks if they just stood around swapping between scenes over and over and over again. Even faster if they wrote a script to do it. (The Necro Gates would cost 29.3k visits, by the way.) To echo Shadowseeker, the land loyalty option seems best. I would like to be able to move around easier, but.... this isn't the way to accomplish it.
6. I'm in the market for a Soulweaver with some age. The amount of age will change what I'm willing to pay for it, but it'll probably be upwards of 3gc which is the 'market price' for a Soulweaver. If you have one and are looking to sell either post here or send me a forum PM. Thank you, and have a nice day!
7.
We need a picture of the Grasan drawn in the current style, one for level 2- different from the one we have now, but close enough to be recognizable. This is because we do not wish to replace the Pimped as well. ... The judging will be swift and clean, and be focused on 3 areas. Cleanness (Overall drawing style, precise lines) Closeness (Similarity to the original level 2) Compability (How well it fits with the other levels and the Pimped level 2)
It has to be uniquely similar.
8. Sold What locations/times are you normally at/online? Alternatively, I could pm you the itc and you can just complete the trade when you next see me (I'm normally idle at the Tranquil Plains). ------------------------------------ I'll bump this and update the first post when I next have enough Mineral Water to sell.
9. Sorry to hijack this, but, that's not really how discounts work... Right now, you've bid 1gc for all of them and therefore are bidding 5sc for each of them, but when it comes time to trade Bunny would only charge you 14sc. Discounts are only applied at checkout, you can't factor them in preemptively... Of course, you could just change your bid to 1g 1sc, but as it stands right now I think that Living Puppet's bid would be acceptable.
10. Hello, everyone! I'm selling some mineral water (as you may have guessed from the topic title). My asking price is a rounded sixth of whatever the amount of Mineral Water I have is. ((Mineral Water #)(1/6) = Price) Right now, I have 0 Mineral Water so I would like 0sc for it. I will also trade for other resources, though it will be cheaper to pay with silver. If you purchase the Mineral Water and then I acquire more before the trade is completed, I will not charge you more for it because that'd just be unfair. So, you'll get some for free. If someone places a bid and 24 hours pass before another bid is placed, they get the water. I'll update this occasionally when I have more water again.
11. A wispy breeze, a golden swirl,The fallen leaves are all awhirl! To all eyes the sight is plain, Autumn time is here again!

12. 2sc for 4 - Tormented Soul age 301 (since the bid was withdrawn)
13. Meaning that you can't add a big skeleton behind it, or a demon riding on it's back, or something. You're perfectly free to draw on the monster itself, just don't put other images into the image. That's my take, at least.
14. 1_0x1_1 Weapons of the Lands
15. Abused Demo, I think.
16. 4_1x2_18 Ghost of a Girl
17. 1_0x-3_1 Wind and Dust
18. 1_4x0_1 How the Tunnel was Made 1_4x2_1 The Figures/Guards 2_0x0_1 The Underground
19. Yes, 1gc is commonly exchanged as 15sc, so, that works out to 3sc per. Unless he's trying to change the value of currency in the Realm which could be interesting... I apologize for the interjection.
20. My laptop's harddrive seems to have died. I'll be back when I have personal computer access again.

@Cots I've been using one of the three extra computers in the House (no, they don't belong to me, but there're like 7 computers total where I live) but they're old and crabby about doing... anything.

21.
symbols by their definition are perceived based on the sum total of your experience. i Saw said symbol and categorized it as a mathematical one, Attributed no paranormal, religious or cultural symbolism to it.
And that's exactly my point! Thank you, Chew, that was very well said. Personally, I think nothing of the symbols because I've only ever seen them once or twice when my internet connection was behaving badly. I never had time to look at them properly. I was just trying to explain why MoM and his grandfather saw the symbol in such a way.
22.
That it's an Hebrew word doesn't make it a Jewish word, just because hebrew is mostly spoken by jews _today_.
Yes, Hebrew is a race, Judaism is a religion. You can be jewish without being Hebrew and vice versa. Thank you for correcting me Burns, I tend to sort of smear the words together because the Tanakh is written mainly in Hebrew. My point was that if people see a hexagram and a Hebrew word for 'my Lord' their brain is probably going to jump to Judaism... especially if that's something important to their culture. It doesn't _have_ to, but it probably will. A universal symbol is not universally understood the same way. Edit:
PS: I'm neither religious, nor do i care for political correctness, but i kinda freak out when people call a star jewish and a cross christian. There are too many layers of history and meanings over almost all symbols to accept such 'simple solutions'.
Ditto.
23. I would like to point out that the letters around the outside of the hexagram spell 'Adonai', which is Jewish for 'master' or 'my Lord' and is one of the many 'names' of God. So, although hexagrams are not strictly jewish, it is referencing (intentional or not) Judaism. People interpret symbols in a way that makes sense to their culture and their mind. However, to answer your question, MD doesn't really have anything to do with it. I mean, look at Shem's signature. It's more of a cleverly buried reference to a 'God' that looks cool. There are a few other such references on the symbol that pull from multiple religions. The intent is to reference God, not the religion. If that makes sense...
24.
actually, the greed problem is harder to solve than that, it comes in a third form : "darn, it's the third day in a row that I'm too late to get even one - AGAIN, that's it, I'll take more than it's allowed, because if I don't, I'll never get any" ... 1. Resources must NEVER go below 66% of their maximum 2. Players will be restricted to harvesting a certain amount of every resource per week, and exceeding this amount will be treated as if someone has depleted a resource 3. Players who break these rules will face a communal punishment, such as a limitation on trade, and anything and everything that the community can do to make sure this will not be repeated.
Actually actually, the schedule would solve that too. If you're one of the designated (arbitrary number) 5 people chosen to gather on that day, then there will _always_ be some resources for you to gather. The way I'm thinking about it is like this... Example ~ Herbs in Loreroot. There are 48-50 herbs available for gather every day if you allow them to regenerate to max each day. Let's just say that there are 14 herbs baskets available (I don't know what the actual number is. If someone who does know could tell me it would make this example work out better ). So, that means that if you designate 2 people to gather each day, everyone can gather 24-25 herbs EACH per week in Loreroot alone. I think that that's pretty fair. Things to think about: 1) If you miss your designated day, do you get a chance to make it up? 2) Can people swap time slots? (My personal answers are 'No' and 'Of course'.) That sort of works in to your second rule.
