In the MD birthday we look forward to our future, and back to our past. Loreroot has had a very colourful history full of leaders, rebellions and alliances rising and falling. We should remember our friends, and this first day is to do so. The first days quest is to write or draw a piece of history, pick someone, an event, an alliance, anything and write or draw an image to show what it was, how it was historic or to teach someone about it. Requirements: Writing must be less than 500 words Drawings must be uploaded to storenow Writing must be posted somewhere Submission must be on a forum topic (art and writing) or md-archives blogpost (art and writing) or storenow link (art) Once its posted, ONE post should be made here stating your entry and the link to it. This ends on sunday, results announced mon/tue Bonus Points: Drawing and writing (no matter how bad) gets bonus points Uploading to md-archives new website gets bonus points (to upload to new md-archives site, talk to innocence and get them to help you upload. Questions can go here :)

The rewards have been boosted to a number of anniversary arramors, and some spelldocs, morphs, and other things. Will be split depending on effort of participants.

Last year Murry ran out of time to make all 3 levels so he only made the first. Between now and then the source files were lost on his computer due some bad things (and they werent uploaded to the server like they should have :P). He is attempting to recover them and more information will be given later when we know whats happening. He owes me one more colouring of a creature (once i do some MDA work for him) so im hoping we can get the second level done. Just updating people as to whats happening :)

Further Clarification: It appears MRAlyon has been demoted from being a LHO. Since he has contacted me accusing me of doing this I would like to be perfectly clear, I did not have any contact with Grido as to this action and am unhappy to hear that MRAlyon has apparently had no contact as to the reason of being demoted. I have contacted Grido now and hope he shall offer a reason to MRAlyon asap. I have sent an official complaint to grido and council as to this action as this affects the good name of the LHO and myself. You should not be demoted without a reason. I hope this query is cleared up soon, and give my apologies that this has occurred with no apparent reason being given, to MRAlyon.

You have the ability to give both positive and negative reputation on this forum. This is to be purely used to indicate your approval or disapproval of ideas and posts. It should not be used as a petty weapon against someone. Reputation spamming is the repeated downvoting of a persons posts systematically. MRAlyon has been warned against doing this, but continued to do so. I am exceptionally disappointed that he has continued to spam members on the forum just because he dislikes them. He even went as far to read the warnings and requests for the reasons of his reputation spamming. A LHO should know better than this and to act better but he did not and this is poor Hopefully from this we will be able to move forward as a community and accept that these petty squabbles do not help MD. Reputation is an arbitrary number and if you think reducing the value make you feel better than you are a very petty person.

Browsers are also finicky about loading tabs as they are with popups. It seems very non-deterministic, and I havent been able to reproduce this error...

More importantly, can this be updated as well? Or closed and a new one made. Its important to be able to work out easily who is currently leading a land. When I came here I knew shem had left, thought mya had and was unsure about a number of the other positions (darigan, tarq, etc)

Can this be updated? Im trying to find who to contact about LR and I dont think this is accurate in any form.

You are a little young to know this, But in the past certain ideas and concepts were "sold" to Mur and he could confirm, deny or point you in another direction. This is normalyl when researching into MD lore. Some parts of MD lore has indeed a correct answer.

I feel you give power to certain people, by perceiving they are all powerful and that them knowing what you say will in some way cause great harm to you.
