placing a wp at the start of the time frame is important. A new player will not be impressed by the idea that he will get somehting after ONE YEAR of playing, ...they are not sure if they will stay one day at first. I am also talking about WP directly not WP codes, so transfers are not an issue. I hope that in this way people will want more, and not consider wp as unreachable anyway. There are many that have none and stoped hoping for one. Alt checks , if implemented, will be very strict. Only one of the tests for example could be extremely strict, the ip check. If you are in a school or campus, you will never be able to get this reward if someone else got it first. Also the full range of alt checking is quite paranoid, so you will probably not be able to get the reward in many cases when the system things you are in any way related to the other account. Its big question, should alts be developed as separate characters (so yes get the wp) or should they be considered alts as they are? .. If there were not all these people that have alts to cheat or swarms of alts, this situation would be totaly different. AGE, in md, is the strongest sign of loyalty towards MD. You could be the worst character around, if you have a lot of age and you are still around and not baned, it means you are loyal to MD. You might not be loyal to its people, thats an other thing, but you are here and that counts. At least thats how i always felt about active days.

@Grido the "results" of the discussion are now in the book, a chapter about entropy and its importance to energy to information translation. It will be called "Signs of entropy". I am still trying to figure a way to put things so that some remain open , because in this discussion there were many things that opened alternatives, but eventualy there are 1000 of right and wrong ways, putting one on paper is enough to cause people to put the questions and thats what matters .. nobody can be fully right, (regardless of public polls *cough*) I will probably put the text also on the archives. Let me know what you think about having a type of achievement that will give you a wishpoint for active days, without any other requirement. The implications are greater, it will cause a slight inflation of wp, especialy for the 50 days option that most fulfill. Wp are ment to be achieved by special merits so to say, i think age shows something even if its not a quest or a puzzle. What about farming alts for age , you get aged creatures and now also wishpoints, ideas, ways to avoid that? I am planning to add some very strict ways but it could be extreme. This idea can be made real fast, its something i started to work on but i stoped now to create this poll to see what you think about it first. If its not gonna win, maybe there are alternatives, if not, i'll focus on something else.

part of the role of a cheater/thief is the risk of him getting cought. ofc something can be done about it, not always, but from time to time, to give examples. Remember the announcement about trials and judges? read it.

using MP2 is clearly alt abuse by definition. MP2 are no longer in play. Unless we are talking about an MP2 that is known and managed to create a 'name', its alt abuse.

so how you want to do this, i give the full list to one of you and that person gives to the rest and receives back the results? I looked over them a bit and it goes fast because you look over 10 at a time, you dont have to read them just look they are not bad and most are ok.

I was so full of fresh forces preparing to check the public logs..i opened db...and all my fresh forces vanished. 22384 logs to check Now...i think i need some help. Task will be to look over a list with such logs and make a list with those that are - offending, extreamly rude - containing scripts or html - spam, (Kill Da Rabbit i suppose its a quest?) - random filling text, like asdfgasdfg Also at the end a "top" should be made, those that "win" first positions get baned. I give you all time to not get into this situation, including with this post now. I think one person is not enough, but might be, so anyone offers to help?

penalty is based on nr of heads .. if i remember right ...so more heads , means harder to keep them, faster score increase ..what is to be balanced about that? sanctuary... i guess hc was always a nightmare for people staying in sanctuary, it will probably always be, but who knows what will change next hc.

And it was just a suggestion, if you realy dont want to , dont do it, idea is to feel good about it. The probability that someone in lets say filipine will spend thousands of dollars to come to your door to beat you to death is much more remote than a truck running over you inside your home. The address you give yourself, its not public, you can pick only people from far far away places and that you know in game for a long time. But again, its your choice and if you dont feel good about it, then simply dont do it, its much better you dont than to have nightmares after you did. My address is public for 10 years and i placed myself into lots of troubles but so far i never got to use the flamethrower i keep next to my door. only trouble i had was from people i already knew, in same town and country...

you never know. Even if address is something that can be found out quite easy if you want to, i don;t want anyone to get in trouble or receive any requests to ban anyone later. I already receive phonecalls from paranoid parents that think MD is affecting their kid education or so and want me to prevent them from playing, so, ask permission if you are not legaly allowed to do it .... If other reasons prevent you from sharing cards, i realy wish to find a way to help. Long range cards could cost a lot its true, but local post is quite cheap even for a kid. If you have money to buy a cola you can do that too, if you dont have money to buy a cola, you could send a handwritten piece of simple paper, if you get my point....

i have comissioned a cube puzzle to someone based on shadowseekers device. This will save me some time while it will still come out as i wish it to be. The work is in progress and looks good so far. Storymode rewards will change to percentage rewards , but i have a dark thought to change profiles entirely , by removing attack, defence, and other skills and implement a much simpler and more intuitive way. Dont get scared yet. Once all the things come into place for these changes to happen i will do them realy fast. I will try to do these changes without reseting anything dont wory. It will probably be an automated fix when you login, converting your current profile to the new one. I am not sure what to do about storymode, one option is to move ALL players to mp3 without resetting their stats at all, letting them get overpowered ... this might go well with skill caps on mp levels, an other change i am planning.
