Mur likes to teleport people away sometimes, if they're being obnoxious, they could just jump back, unless they are sent to jail, which would probably become more common if this were implemented.

Personally, I most likely won't be at the 'meeting', because the second half of the day (12:00-0:00) in server time is the time I happen to take to sleep and go to school (3:00-15:00), and I'm not going to stay up all night and take the day off just so I can be there for the one day where we get to do forum in-game. Not to mention, of course, people like Awiiya and Zleip who have roles dependent on the locations they are in. But then, from what I can tell, this will be Mur letting off a bunch of steam by taking it out on us, which I honestly don't have a problem with; if he needs to send 20 people to jail to feel better and get people off of his back, so that he can continue work on items or whatever, then it's going to happen whether there's a gathering to talk about it or not. So sure, this could be handled better, but we should probably be glad it's being handled at all. He could just take the fast track and punish people on his gut feeling, and what would we be able to do about it? All in all, yes, I'm a bit bothered by the word choice in the announcement and it was perhaps wrong of Mur to say that, but it doesn't particularly matter; at the end of the day, YOU know if you care or not, and there are more ways to prove it than attending a witch hunt. Edit: Worth keeping in mind is that I'll probably by shouting about unfairness afterwards, regardless of what I'm saying now, so yeah.

I just don't see the point when there's better ways, for example if it's after the hour, then instead of giving the error message, it could go back and give you whatever page you were working on so you could copy and paste after reopening it.

As far as I know, statdamage takes away what Eon earns from the fight.

That'd require a re-working of EIDs, Chewett. Refreshing is a much simpler solution.

If you really want to suggest a solution, suggest a solution, otherwise this topic won't amount to much. All you've suggested is something in return; what do you want to give him? Will he accept it? I haven't worried about my EI stat, ever (of course, I joined an alliance when I was pretty old, this is not the case for everybody). I had enough so that I could walk just fine once I joined an alliance. If this idea were implemented, then there would either need to be a cap (on the effects, not on the stat itself, for obvious reasons), or it would need a weird calculation. But if stats are going change skilldamage, I don't think it should be a permanent effect, therefore I suggest that it uses luck instead, and it can work like cancelling an attack in a fight log, only happening some of the time, and not completely cancelling it, but making it smaller; perhaps a combination of EI and luck.

The problem here, Grido, is that you didn't tell Phantom "Mur is very busy right now", and actually explain it to her. Just saying "I will talk to Mur" over and over doesn't help anything.

The point of the swearing rule is that there could be, say, a 10 year old who joins, sees this, their parents see it too, MD loses a player, and a player loses MD. It doesn't matter what YOU consider a swear, it matters what that child's parents consider a swear. This is ESPECIALLY bad when it could be considered something officially part of the game. Mur made the swearing rule, and he also (I assume) put those special chat functions in the game. He's allowed to break his own rules, though I'm sure if there were a complaint about that particular chat message, Mur would remove it.

This is a ridiculous argument about semantics. It's a confused issue at this point, and you're both coming out looking petty. SS, please respect that Passant may not speak English as his first language, and even if he does, it's his choice to call it whatever he wants; it's the buyer's responsibility to know what he's getting into. RJ has committed the following crimes, according to Indyra 1. Insulting Indyra 2. Changing the subtitle of a location Regarding number 1: This is not against the rules, it happens all the time. Personal fights should not be dealt with by the Council. And number 2: He did not change the subtitle to his name, but he did change it to a swear. Sasha got three weeks for changing the name of a public location to her name, I suggest RJ gets three weeks as well.
