Assira the Black

This is just some thoughts and it may not fit in anywhere or be a pain to make changes too. There are sword, sword balances, sheath balance, and sheath. It is best at times for our profile to have a balance of wins and losses. But for creatures only wins are shown for upgrades. In life experience does not come solely from the battles won but also the battles lost. And in some cases it may make sense for certain creatures to be stronger from the amount of battles it lost rather than what it won. Or that certain skills from sacrificing the creatures would be stronger. After being knocked down in a fight time after time, a person may have a higher endurance or learn other ways to avoid attacks. So it could be assumed that their defense is higher than their attack. Or something along these lines.

Chose Buddhism, but I do not fit neatly under that category. I do not follow a god or goddess but I also could be clumped under Wiccian or counted as a Green Witch... since I grew up with some of that and currently looking to restart my path on that. Also grew up with Christianity and some Jewish back ground. I was Christian for a bit but that was mainly because of family and tradition. So now I follow a Buddhist-Wiccian combination. Another words, I am just me regardless of what label I put down.

Taint a concept of the mind and spirit. It can come in many forms but to describe it simply, imagine a white stone that mud has dropped upon. The contrast between the two is clear and it does not seem... natural. If the mud is accepted and stays there over time the stone changes color experiencing something new. The mud and the stone is indistinguishable and is one thing. But if the mud is washed off by rain it will stay white for a while. Though over time the stone will be eroded to pieces mixing with the soil around it becoming tainted by its own environment. Everything becomes tainted, whether it is a new idea taking root in the mind, an affliction upon the body, or life itself. So a way to embrace the NC taint is to enter a state of mind to accept all part of your mind, body, and soul. Regardless of what will stare you in the face. To do this, entering a trance will be beneficial. Gather the following items: Glass bowl, skull, or other container. Unidentified plants, toxic plants, tea leaves, aromatic herbs and nightshade. (the amounts used will vary from person to person) dagger, knife, or sharp implement Decorated Candle (preferably from sages keep, but other candles can be used) Incense with Incense burner Rock or small round object Cake Chalk water string Go to the House of Tainted Times. Draw a circle with the chalk large enough for you to sit down inside with all the items. Place the candle infront of you, the dagger to the left with the cake next to it, the bowl to the right of the candle with the rock beside it, the plant material just beyond the bowl, and the incense to the right of the bowl. Light the incense and what for its smell to surround you. With in the bowl place the unidentified plants, tea leaves, and toxic plants. Add a little bit of water to the bowl and let it set for 10 minutes. Tie the aromatic herbs and nightshade together. Lite the candle and wait until the wax starts running down it's side. Place the tip of the tied aromatic herbs and nightshade into the flame of the candle. Waff the burn herbs scent around you, breath in and out deeply. Take notice of the mingling of scents. Place the tied burning herbs into the bowl of water and plant materials. Take the knife and dip it into the bowl. Stir the bowl and then cut your palm with the knife. Allow your blood to drop into the bowl until the water turns dark. Stir the contents of the bowl with the tip of the knife again and set the knife down. Pick up the stone and dip it into the bowl. Then place the stone close to you, almost touching. Give the cake as offering to the shades or spirits to hopefully allow safe passage within your mind as the ritual takes hold. The stone acts as a connection between the realm of your mind/spirit and the physical realm that you are currently in. The ritual ends when you make your way back to the physical plain. Take the incense and extinguish it in the bowl. The pour some of the liquid from the bowl on to the candle, thus tainting the candle. Break the circle by wiping away the chalk. Walk to the way of cleansing to toss into the fire the cake and rest of the contents of the bowl. Keep the candle and lite it any time when you want to enter another trance. Though lighting the tainted candle would only have mild effects of the trance. To enter a trance fully the ritual would need to be repeated. -Assira the Black

On the matter of subjectivity, any human of any role will have bias or act in accordance with their point of view. One thing that would help someone with this role would be transperancy with their actions, to either the judges/those in power or with the public. As for whether it is needed *shrugs* I do not know. I do not know how often those who are behind the scenes (actions/conflicts that the public does not know about) have to deal with this and if that by creating a warden it would make things easier for them or more complicated. And it depends on if anyone would want a role like that. This is a similar situation to the warrent role that was suggested. Some roles are better implemented if someone already has made it their own. In this case and in the warrent role it is dependent on others to create the tools necessary or make some other changes. I think it is a good idea in that I can see the possibilities of it increasing rp in jail related aspects. It maybe interesting to pair that with some of the a25 changes.

[log= Drawing] [/log] Materials: 20 water 2 Lumber 4 Branches 15 Unidentified plants 11 resin 3 memory stone 5 sand 3 colored paper The lumber is cut down to form two parts, one where the crutch rests under the arm and the second the foot guard. The largest branch that can be found is hollowed out. The unidentified plants are fermented and beaten. The fibers are extracted from the plant and weaved together to form string. Two large memory stones are set to the side and one crushed, three pebbles are selected from the crushed one. Three heated resin are applied to the colored paper and three sand sprinkled over the paper to make sand paper. Cut a single vertical slit in the branch at knee height and then another at ankle height. This is where the ball joints will be added too later. Be careful not to cause horizontal cracks. Then make two slits at the base of the hollow branch going up about 4 inches. Cut three holes all the way through into the two intact memory stones. Soak the branch in water over night and add more as needed. When the hollow branch is flexible slowly pull the first slit with out making the slit split the entire piece. When it is wide enough push one of the memory stones into the slit with the holes facing up and down but at a slight angle where the holes can be seen. Do the same to the slit at the ankle area. For the two slits at the base spread it apart to where it looks like a three pronged fork. Let the hollow branch and stones dry. The arm rest lumber piece is glued to the top of the hollow branch with some heated resin. On the side of the hollow branch at about hand height, it is sanded flat. Cut three straight lines and then add notches into the lines. Then cut the string into three long pieces. Cut one hole into each of the three memory stone pebbles. Tie one string to each pebble. The loose string slide, one through each of the groves. Remove the knee memory stone joint, use an item and the holes to pry it out. Take one string and match up its place on the grooved panel to the hole in the stone. Do that for all three. Do the same for the ankle joint. The string closest to the front is glued with resin to the front base split. The string the back is glued with resin to the back base split. The center string is glued into the center hole of the ankle joint. Then the lumber foot guard is glued to all three prongs at the base of the hollow branch. The front stone knob on the panel can be adjusted to make the toes of the foot lift. Pull too much and you could fall or just hop around on the heel of your foot. The back stone knob on the panel helps to balance the weight on the foot. The center stone knob on the panel pulls the leg up off the ground. Sliding the knob down on the panel will let the foot fall. Now... for how it is attached. Hmm.... I have a more permanent solution. With the remaining branches, spikes are cut and glued with resin to the side of the crutch. The spikes will hold the crutch... close to the body.... permanently. Or if you prefer the pain free method... make up some more string and tie yourself to the crutch. But if I make the crutch... I may not have enough string to secure the crutch to you with that method. -Assira the Black

Maybe this was created around the time of the rp item shop. I remember there were so issues with that. At the moment I can not remember the exact time frame that the rp items were added. I would look it up but my phone takes a bit of time to do things on the Internet.

Not every quest, contest, or event can be thought out in every detail. Even if it was things still do not go according to plan all the time. I thought that this rp event was awesome. Yeah not everybody was able to be actively involved. But the potential of this style of rp story lines is great. It has been a while since people showed this level of excitement and interest. The green announcement chat text is a good way to peek interest and get everybody involved. (Would say more but it takes a while to type on my phone)

I was thinking about doing a submission but with other things I was/am doing in game/rl I did not have the time to put the effort needed in to it.
