1. I will have to buy a slave if Gremlin and Fenir don't show  Please check the Market Fair schedule before you suscribe. Remember, to be sold you have to be there. So you don't have to look for it somewhere else I will re-post the publicity: “Weaving it's way through the bustling crowds, it's wheels creek on it's steady pace, the caravan arrives from No Man's Lands, a Market Fair to Marind's it brings." Day 119-120: The No Man’s Land Caravan will launch from Howling Gates around 22:00 server time, it will only make two stops: one at the Gazebo of Equilibrium and, the other one at Willows Shop. Then it will continue to set up the Market Fair at 23:00 at Wind´s Sanctuary. The Market Fair will end at 1:00 server time. K
2. Ok Kragel, the MDS collected during this auction will be used to reward asistances, publicity, performances any type of colaboration :good: Thank you.
3. There is no need for me to get any type of comission. It is not my market fair... so Kragel, since is your idea... the slavery auction is all yours. Edit* Pample, it does benefit the market, I believe Kragel had a great idea. The gathering of people means more clients for the traders. All Im saying is I dont want a commision. The same if there is any other type of transaccion (services, creats, info...) If Kragel or anybody organize the auction i believe he or she should get the comission. I would be too busy to take care of that.
4. When I solved the maze I got to Wind's Crossing... *sighs* I wanted to see GG
5. As a merchant I am uncapable to determine the exact price on an MDS. My references are nothing but the Items witch are for some people priceless colletibles objects. I do recognize people are starting to trade items a bit more, but i still I agree with Kafuuka: "Currently items are artifacts, not expendable trade goods". I might change my mind after the fair. But for now all I can say is that a MDS may have no currency value when you want to buy a selected item, but also quite valuable for people with no items at all. I couldnt compare this currency to any type of real currency, I believe we are too far from recreating a local economy yet. Hope this will change in time.
6. If nobody cancels our date will be at Wind´s Sanctuary, day 119, between 21:00 to 03:00. I have confirm: The performance of Kiphis The Bard. Phantom Orchid will play her Nyckelharpa. Have you listen to that instrument yet? Cryxux and Stormrunner will be our story tellers. Windy will offer carameled apples. I´ll keep you posted.
7. Jester, I was planning the Market fair for nextweek but if you consider this event can be a part of the Jesterfest I can pospone it so we can do this togeder. Nevertheless, I wouldnt consider to accept the event I am promoting to be a time filler activitie during the fest. Both activities can be complementary and they can be scheduled without interrumpting each other. We just need different locations. Regards,
8. I support the fest :good: When will it be? Anyway, I believe the Marketplace can be an interesting event too...insteed of a MISCELLANNEOUS TIME FILLER...
9. Indeed. I have to agree with Burns. Unfortunately many of my friends lost interest on the game because of that. There is no point to tranlate the intructions and story of the game if the 90% still in Engish (Quests, rol play, chat, notifications, newsletter, etc) Pehaps in time alternative languages chats will open. Until that happens... I personally dont see the point. K
10. Since i have not received the Newsletter I try to subscribe again but this message appears everytime: An error has occurred. An error(s) has occurred while trying to subscribe you to our news list: -You are already subscribed to list MagicDuel News Is there something else I can do? Regards, K
11.
Greetings, Would it be possible to set up a barter board? Also, what about trading character weapons/armor (perhaps akin to how creatures are traded)? I am *very* excited about trading/bartering, because it will help spread the wealth and keep things that much more decentralized. There seems a lot more potential than only using coins which are few and kinda hard to come by. Also, I play the nyckelharpa for hire if I won't play for free *winks* Ask Kittiness how I play.
The original idea didnt include items. I knew from the start there where to few. But King Khalazdad ask me to give the economy a bit of reality, he loan me a few silver coins to start buying Items. Since I already have thought of a fair I took my chances. I started asking support and trying to buy items. I got plenty support, but items where almost imposible to get. (I did had a lot of fun reading the answers to my offers... you wouldnt believe how precious a T-Shirt or a mug can be...) I bought a few, but after a while I realized the Market Fair had to be done, with or without items. We´ll see how it goes... K
12. It is a good idea Fenrir and Chewet. I have only a few items for sell (4) but perhaps this will encourage people to trade some more. It could be fun. Other type of goods (the ones in the list and others to come) will be sold for "MD Gold coins" or traded. It wont be a a board for that. I will set the prices the day of the fair. (Does Fair sound right?... would Market fair sound better?) K
13. This is completely new to me so I will definitely need all the help I can get. Next week I will post a two day schedule. So we can fill it properly with different commercial and artistic activities. For now let’s celebrate MD Birthday :drinks: (I’ve been told fair sounds like a festival or party… Does Open Market or Market Fair sounds better? My English is limited so I wouldn’t know. ) K
14. icepheonix has offer some items too. :clapping: We have goods, music, stories... (do we need is a clown like the story-mode? hope not... I hate clowns) So now we are going to coordinate everything. I believe we can have a squedule and determine the location or locations for the fair. The lands authorities migh have something to say about that. K
15. Yes Sister Sage Real items and invented items will be for sale/trade I am unable to send this invitation to each one of you, so please forgive me if you havent received it yet. here it is: Greetings, It is very likely you are informed about the fair project. If not I can give you a few more details (or you can find out easily at the Forum). I am inviting you to be a part of this event. Like I always said, you don’t need to be a trader to trade. Perhaps you might have found something interesting in one of your excursions… a snake, a rare stone. Or you might have a few objects witch you prefer to trade rather then keep. If you have manufacture something I am sure it can be quite valuable on the fair. If you are a storyteller, or an artist your performance will be also well received. So please accept this cordial invitation. Respectfully, Kriskah Arcanu. Travelling Merchant Ps: The fair is being organized at the forum, that way anyone can publish the goods, or arts they will like to share.

17. I do not have creatures for sale. But I will sell - trade my Items. Handkerchief Red Apple Tiny bronze gears Yellow herbs The Flask with stone oil will not be for sale. I intend to use it on a quest. After that I will trade it too. I will soon publish a list of goods for the Fair. I encourage you to do the same. You dont need to be a trader to trade
18. Good idea, then creatures for sale too Thanks Jester. (Please ideas and colaboration needed, remember I am only a travelling merchant)
19. I want to thank everyone for their support on this project. Thanks to you I have purchase a couple of items, but they are not enough for the Fair so far. I am not sure if more randomly delivery items will appear; so I rather give the silver coins back to you until this currency actually can buy stuff. The Fair Project will continue, but it will take time. Like I have post before, and I know Grido will support me on this one… Items for now are too precious; they have been accepted as medals or rewards and won’t be easily trade for silver coins. If you help me, we can put this fair together, and we can start trading other goods instead (roll created goods), so many more can participate. I am sure this will make a few people more aware of the social value of a market fair. I am looking for storytellers, musicians, craftsmen, traders, fortune-tellers, anyone who would like to sell their stuff or perform during the fair. Regards, K

21. Gracias a todos! Thanks everybody I just came back from Cuernavaca. My hollidays are oficially over Back to business!! PS: Grido, it is not MY fair.
22. I couldnt find any previous coments about the Festival. So Im just posting a few impresions as a common player. + The maze was fun, but I was hopping to find some danger inside. Nevertheless, amazing work. I hope it reopens soon. I would like to try again... i might solve it faster + I couldnt see what happened at GG but it was fun to listen to all the fuss on the game and at the forum. Can someone publish some pics? - Not everyone with real email received the free credits + It was a bit too long but I enjoyed the meeting at the House of Tainted Times. It was a great opportunity to see how new ideas are implemented. BTW... How does the factions organization working? - Items (this is something that has a direct effect in The Fair Project so i will elaborate a bit more) Some how players fell in love with their randomly given items, no matter if it is a T-shirt or a bag full with nails. Players became attached to their items the same way as if they where a character related item. Unfortunaly this bizarre situation wont aloud items to be trade and sold as common merchandize. So perhaps gender related items could be an alternative to this situation... like a pink lipstic. Mens/womens boots, etc. I can help with a list of items if necessary. Regards, (I appologize for my grammar) K
23. Thanks Liiberty. I didnt know about the link. MDNP didnt sound like newspaper to me so I never clicked it. Now I have something else to read during hollidays
24. No free credits and no Newspaper I only got the news. And I did subscribed. *sighs* I see Im not the only one who did not receive it... so perhaps the Newspaper could be at the Archives too so everyone could read it. K
25. You have my support too. :clapping: K
