  2. On my day of hosting (April 14th), I shall be running a "Heat War". Brief Summary: Each team's clickable will be in a different area to another, for example: Team A's clickable may be in Loreroot whilst Team B's may be in Golemus. Teams will be able to "supply" heat to their own clickable whilst able to use their heat to "sabotage" an opposing team's supply. Competition will run from 00:00st until 00:00st. There are plenty of surprises to be revealed on the day but for now, this is the very basic information. Rewards I request will be based upon amounts that sign up. So the more of you that do so, the higher the prize value! Extra info: You may help your team anyway you see fit, be it through providing assistance or by sabotaging the enemy! Killing, however, is not allowed and those who do so will be banned from the day's quests. You may gain your heat any way you desire. MP6's, unfortunately, will be unable to participate. Be creative! To sign up: Please post your player name and ID, Active days, Land citizenship and Current briskness. (A screen shot of your briskness will be required a few days prior to the event.) Current List of Participants: Lands Of the East Pipstickz - 554 *Sunfire* - 1025 Golemus Golemicarum MRALyon - 15744 Rophs - 48 Miq - 800 Marinds Bell Nadrolski - 3857 Clock Master - 3359 Necrovian Lashtal - 1983 Aeoshattr - 120 Loreroot Eagle Eye - 2940 Lintara - 131 No Mans Land I Am Bored - -1770 Change - 127 Asthir - 21 Mirus - 15 Please note that the above are not the final teams. Saboteurs *Sasha Lilias* - 148016 Dst - 17096 JadenDew - 186134 Assira the Black - 141566
  3. As I posted in chat, with prior timing and work, the viscosity of an area can be lowered normally. I think with the amount of people going to be present during the MD birthday, it will be quite easy to do this.
  4. In regards to item consumption: I made a larger list of consumed items because I wasn't sure how many would be "too few", so I thought it was better to be safe than sorry. A simple resolve to this would be to either remove one or two items OR perhaps even allow items such as this to be made by selecting 3 out of the list and combining them. So, so long as you have 3 of the 8 ingredients and also the jar, then you'd be able to create it? As for the item functionality: Again, I wasn't sure if it was meant to have a function or not, so better safe than sorry! I think this, however, is the obvious function for such an item. Though for now it could just be another RP item that could eventually become coded. :)
  5. Mur actually used a combination of languages to create his name, fooling us all, all for his final experiment. Muratus -noiseless(estonian). del- the(spanish) mur- wall(french) A mur is in fact...THE NOISELESS WALL of MD! Now that we all know what a Muratus Del Mur is, MD can be deleted as we have passed this final test of Mur's.
  6. Hearthepoor obviously let's us hear what has been said by new players, how this could be useful varies depending on the situation: from trying to help with an earlier question when no one was around, to logging abuse or foul language. Helpthepoor, as I've been led to believe, increases the VE and AP of a player by a little amount, helpful to them when stuck in a location or just needing that little extra "boost". I specifically have rarely used the hearthepoor spell but have tried on many occasions to help young ones out with helpthepoor, to no avail.
  7. Exactly. Whilst they are learning the very basics, learning the ins and outs of fighting, moving around, etc, then that is when we should be helping them. Not if they wish to rush through MP3 to get to MP4, without taking proper time to learn about what they're doing; that is then their choice. Where is your proof to say this is rare? Right now I see TheTigerLady - 30AD and Asthir - 419AD. I think it's impossible to say what is or isn't "rare" as it depends solely on the person in question. As there have been few new players lately it makes it even harder to say. If active days, however, were raised, and it was to solely come down to this requirement, then it would encompass both the possibility of them making a rather (in my opinion) poor decision of rushing MP3 or if they decide to stay on at that level. Either way I would strongly recommend raising the active days bar to 100.
  8. Indeed, as above ^. Apologies for missing that.
  9. It's been bugging me for a while so now I'll voice my opinion. Both spells 'hearthepoor' and 'helpthepoor' are quite literally useless most of the time. I'm not sure what the exact age range of them are but they only work on those that are 30 days old or less. Now, I can understand the MP limit, as once a character reaches MP4 they've "progression wise" shown a level of competency where they don't need further coddling. However, I feel that the days requirement is a bit of a joke though, really. There have been a few times now where I've tried hearing a question that's been asked, so that I can try and answer, and find that they're too old, or tried giving them a little VE boost and they've been "too old". This is the same with "movetheyoungling", though this seems to work on players a 100 AD or less? I, personally, think that a limit on MP3 only is enough though, if needed, raise the active days to 100/150 AD for all LHO spells that are designed to help the newer players. 30 days doesn't seem all that much really and quite often people still need help after those days. Granted that it's not something urgently needed nor frequently used, but it just seems a bit pointless of a spell when there is such a low limit to age. These are just my views and opinions though and I'd happily listen to other's views. Perhaps I'm looking at this from the wrong perspective and missing some obvious reasons as to the age limit?
  10. Get yourself undead, then you won't have a problem. :)) Being killed isn't meant to be a good thing.
  11. As much as I love the idea I feel that it could easily be spoilt by people using the obfuscator (it jumbles up the chat). Also, unless people are able to pull logs, then they might be removed by others chatting. The people with spell access could also use ear focus to see all of your verses without having to move or (if you go around and enter them in chat in the correct order) figuring out the order. If you wanted it to last a full day, as chat messages disappear after 12 hours, I would suggest you add them to clickables. If you don't have access I'm more than happy to do so for you (as I'm usually on every day). If you send me a message with the daily riddle and where you want them I can run around and do them. That way they can't be ruined, be seen for the full day and people are less able to cheat. :) It all depends on how bothered you (and the participants) are as to how the riddles are figured out. :) Edit: Changed chat time from 6 to 12 hours.
  12. As the title says, I am looking to buy mirror ritual stones for 4sc each or in exchange for one RP item. Whichever takes your fancy. :))
  13. Password protected clickables produce a "\'s" when a password containing an apostrophe is entered.
  14. Shhhh! Wasn't a "bug" it was a special feature! ;)
  15. Ice bell flower and shapeless balloon. 5sc each.
  16. I literally gasped as I read that! :)) I never even realised you were Legna, though now I see it's written on your forum profile I feel even sillier! :P
  17. With the 10th Anniversary of MD coming up, I thought it would be nice for people to have a little reminisce about the days they first started; the people they remember, fond memories, how MD has changed, etc. Try and keep it nice and light, we all know bad things have happened and we've all fallen out with someone at one stage...but let's remember the good! I remember I started back in early 2008, and wow how things were different! No wishpoints, RPC's roaming the land, GG and Necro near impossible to get into...the realm was bustling with energy and people though. You had things such as the Dojo, run by Calyx of Isis, the Wind and Rain pub that was run by Ailith and Windy, the fountain of dark vibrations that was still innocent! (Until Granos came along and changed that! :P) and you have the MR's Training ground. There were no tokens, no items and no coins. You were considered insanely strong if you had a thousand or so stats! I remember the likes of Nim on her first days and how we learnt a lot together, I remember people calling me "biscuits" due to Mcvitie's name. The best thing I remember though was the fact there were always people around, no matter what the scene...you'd nearly be sure to find somewhere there. There was also far less materialism. No items and no CTC codes meant people made do with what they had and role played the rest! Personal papers were also a big thing for many! Nearly everyone would have their papers filled and fully written and there was such diversity in the stories, looks...everything! Finally, who can forget THE SISTERHOOD, run by Sagewoman and Windy. NO man was safe when they were around! :P
  18. If you're applying this sort of logic DD then should you also not be able to gain cartography points or sacrifice creatures after being teleported to certain areas that are inaccessible to most? You yourself have been teleporting people from the Labyrinth to gain cartography points, which defeats the objective of walking around and finding them imo. I think it's hypocritical that you enable some to access to certain areas when trying to prevent others. As for my answer: No. If they can find a way to get to the area (not by someone offering them an easy way) then kudos to them for using their initiatives.
  19. Reason it is there is because the death system is the torch competition recycled into another form (they both use the same coding for death I believe). Ergo the message isn't actually currently incorrect . It's just not "tidy". But yes, the only time there is a restriction to accessing a creature is when dead or in an illusion with predefined creatures. Doesn't matter how you get to the location. You could also say about needing a "key" to recruit (such as the DL) but that is a treasury, not a creature recruiting area.
