1. The simplest one that I use is: <body background = (insert url)> Rather than faffing with "div" and "style" (For the whole page)
2. http://toponlinemmorpg.com/vote.php?id=190 This link redirects to:
https://uk.search.yahoo.com/yhs/errorhandler?hsimp=yhse-001&hspart=CND&type=A6E8CBB3E0FEF452FB4F_s_g_e&q=http://toponlinemmorpg.com/vote.php?hsimp=yhse-001&hspart=CND&type=A6E8CBB3E0FEF452FB4F_s_g_e&id=190
But I think that it still casts your vote.
3. Highest bid has been updated and this bid is accepted. Bids will run for one hour more (due to my late reply).
4. After multiple use the Acoustic Obfuscator "breaks" chat slightly. The chat still works fine, the layout however is changed. http://storenow.net/my/?f=aab602bead0afac54fcd70f84771aa78 This happened on the third use of the device. FlyingChipmunk and Blachshade Rider also saw this. I checked as to what browser they were using and all three of us were using Chrome. So it's perhaps something to do with the browser? It doesn't seem to stop anything from happening, just makes things look a bit "odd". I also used the item for a fourth time a little time after but it worked correctly, without adding spacing between the words, which makes me think perhaps it's to do with the amount of times used in a period of time?
5. Those items could come under the "miscellaneous" catagory or, if you created them, "creations".
6. There is a reason it is called a "Scavenger hunt" you know. You'll be given the password and you'll have to try and find where it activates. I'm sure hints will be available for those with little patience. Though, if you prefer, we can always place cute little arrows pointing to the exact locations if you like?
7. It's always been said that as long as whatever is being traded, both to and from players, stays on that account, it's alright. So if I sold 20 items of an alt then it's that account that get's the profit, not Sasha. I agree with the above. Before I attempt to answer the above; do you mean how can any player buy an item from an alt? Or, how can another account, of the player that own's the alt, get the item?
8. So after searching all the announcements, this is all I could find:
Ann. 845 - [2009-05-04 21:13:47 - Alpha 8] - Permalink - Posted By Muratus del Mur GOLD COINS are a new trading item. There is one single gold coin at the end of each MDShop branch with very high requirements. In total, someone could get 5 gold coins per shop reset, that makes them rare and valuable. This is a luxury item, it wont give immediate advantage and its trading value will allways depend on the "market", same as silver coins. (Now you can go wild and reset the shop :) )
Coins only have as much value as we give them. Allowing people to trade both gold and silver in any amount they like wouldn't have an effect on the market at all. If that were the case then notes, such as below, wouldn't be able to be exchanged.
Ann. 1693 - [2010-12-04 02:46:24 - Stage 10] - Permalink - Land Promisory Notes - Silver and Gold Kings can now exchange silver or gold to promisory notes by requesting this to contact@magicduel.com (Council). They will have to transfer the amount of coins needed to a character they will be instructed to (Postman or an other carrier account) and provide proof of their transfer (log copy). There are only a fixed number of acceptable values: 10 Gold , 20 Gold , 50 Gold, 40 Silver, 100 Silver, 200 Silver. for now NO OTHER AMOUNTS will be accepted to be changed to notes. These notes help for fast transfers of large payments but also hold a different importance, a big one. They will be marked as a promisory note of that land. They are official equivalent of the declared amount and are usable anywhere where silver is, IF the seller doesn't say otherwise (in case of war for example). They are accepted for official md auctions, payments etc. They will be named in a standard way, plus land signature/name and will be of item type "valuables" just like coins. This means they will stack same as coins in your inventory. If a citizen wants to convert his coins to notes he will have to address to his king because for now only the king can request such a thing (will be influencing land economy). Council could assing dedicated roles for a better management of such conversions if the demand requires it. -- Mur
9. The categories for what the items could possibly fit are quite endless; it would really depend on how far you want to take this? Default : Considering that none of the current items are actually "default" (as that would mean that everyone began with them, when they don't) I think this is just a rather lazy title and should be the first to go. The current "default" items are pick-able, therefore I suggest items such as heat pebbles and bushies should be placed under such a name, rather than "default". Miscellaneous: This could be used for items such as empty box, mechanical heart and drop of blood. Items that aren't as easy to categorise. (Again I'd prefer this to "default".) Creature: This one explains itself really, though I thought I'd add it as every seems to have forgotten this category exists. Rare: Rare's should be preserved for a) items with rare abilities, such as kill, revive, heat to VE, etc b) personalised items with that are able to be used. Creations: I personally think having a section named as above would be fitting, as it then shows others (especially newer players) what sort of items can be created to suit their own role. You could even take this one step further and have a pack in the MDShop which allows you to see the items used to make the creation. Enchanted consumables : Again, this really explains itself. Though, with that said, I would scrap "consumables" and just keep the enchanted category. Alcohol, cake, candy...it's all enchanted as they all give boosters. The only reason I'd say keep "consumables" is if you could then eat, say, an ordinary apple to the produce the resource "seeds" and such. Otherwise, as I said, they're all enchanted. Resources: This could have many many subcategories but I doubt that would be required right now, so keep that as it is. Common: Again, could have many subcategories but doubt it's required at present time. Personal: Although I agree that created items could be classed as "personal", they are only personal to the one that created it. After it's been traded it's more of a keepsake or sentimental item. Yet you could say that about the ring's, autographs, etc. I'd suggest any items containing the name of it's creator should be made "personal". Anything else be placed into "creations". ----- On a different note: before sorting out the whole item list, why not sort out things like trading in bulk? Resources are off limits of course, but silver coins? Gold? I can't really see a reason why an interface or even just a little extra box saying "Quantity" can't be integrated into the feature? I think it's far more annoying having to transfer one silver at a time over and over than it is searching for a few individual items? Or is that just me? The little details are what shine through and make a game unique, at the end of the day. In my opinion anyway...
10. 2 weeks remaining. Please remember to send all entries to Azull Via forum message
11. If you're so bothered about forum rep, then please feel free to not partake :)
12. So here's a fun little one I thought we could try. The rules are pretty simple: People post something that they've never done, for example "Never have I ever, sacrificed a creature." (poor example, I know), everyone that has done that +reps that post (those that either haven't or just dislike the question can down rep still! Don't worry! :P). Questions should really be MD based but hey...any questions are welcome! So if you've ever wanted to know something juicy about someone...now's your chance to ask! Try and keep the questions light hearted, joking, a little risqué (but still appropriate) or just down right bizzare! Remember to try and have some fun! To start things off: Never have I ever: Kissed a goat!
13. As it was pointed out to me: Bids accepted means that they are valid for consideration. It does not mean that it is enough to make me sell it. It is very very unlikely I will sell for anything lower than the worth of 15gc. Which is why your highest bids should be backed up with a few of the smaller trade options. Note : This is a one off chance. If it does not sell this time around then it won't be for sale again.
14. Get some long and (preferably) quite thick sticks, stick half of each stick onto the body and then skewer the head on top? :P
15. Did you use a few good old "speedy kick to the sides" to make the arches of where the body and limbs meet? :)) I like it!
16. Find me in game and I'll do it for help you do it for yourself. ~Sasha
17. As per the title, I am selling an Independent water dowser. For those that may not know what this is, it is a tool separate from those that are shared. It is not effected by the shared item "clawback" that happens every Tuesday, so it is yours permanantly. I am willing to trade for creatures:
Most sought after creatures(in descending order) Reindrach Bullet Morph Rustgold Bloodpact Santa Shade GG Nutcracker Aramors (any type) Root Warrior Joker The more tokens a creature has the more value it has to me.
2. I am willing to trade for resources:
Timeless dust
3. I am willing to trade for spell stones:
Any (though the less common/more interesting the better.)
4. I am willing to sell for gold:
Min Bid: 15gc
5. I am willing to sell for credits:
Min Bid: $75
This list is numbered in correspondence of what I value higher. Though, bids may consist of one or more payment type. Bidding will last for 24 hours and then one hour from last bid. Please remember that these items aren't easy to come by and so shouldn't be cheap! Highest accepted bid: Morph - Zleiphneir
18. Used a sendtogoe spell the other day on myself and a few others. Same also happened, though, on mine it said "Spell casting failed, check..." yet I was still teleported.
19. Would you also like to not be able to be attacked when idle? As there's obviously no way you can prevent that either?
20. For those that remember; one of my main characters was/is called mcvitie. As inactive it may be, to this day whenever I see or hear about mcvitie's biscuits, my head SNAPS! around thinking it's about me. :D DO YOU REALISE HOW POPULAR MCVITIES BISCUITS ARE IN THE UK?! VERY! The whiplash my neck has received is terrible...
21. Surely it'll have to include: -Fetch -Roll over and of course -Speak No? :)) Also, I heard that they grow quicker if you play them rock'n'roll. ;)
22. (1) This made little sense to me in it's current format. I propose: "Tending to and watching Bob daily, with little or no speech, shows his exemplary perseverance." in it's place. (2) Little flow to sentence, also how does the role represent the "root role" of a guardian? I suggest: "This person is the personification of a guardian's duty," (3a/b) No need for serial comma nor "and". Semicolon can represent an equal importance of to conjoining sentence. I recommend: Replacing serial comma for semicolon and rewording for sentence flow. "...; further proving that..." (4) Two conjoining sentences of equal importance? I suggest: Replacing comma with semicolon. My suggested edit: WHisper Guardian's Echo Awarded this title for being the most silent of the guardians. Tending to and watching Bob daily, with little or no speech, shows his exemplary perseverance. He is the personification of a guardian's duty; further proving that grand deeds are not always required to show ones dedication; deeds such as simply being there are just as important. Just my thoughts on it. Disregard if you feel unhelpful or wrong. :)
23. Don't quote wikipedia!! GRAHH! But yes, comma should be in place. "Throughout time past his dedication did not waver" Insert clause: "Throughout time past, even with the promise of fame and status, his dedication did not waver" Makes sense both with and without the clause. Removal and rearrangement of the comma staggers the flow of the sentence. I would suggest, however, perhaps something with still more of a flow? Perhaps this? "Throughout time past, even with the promise of prominence and power, his dedication did not waver." As for below: Awarded this title for his ability to nap, for extended periods of time,(1)with one eye open. Although his activity has waned in recent times, he is still known to haunt the Path of Loneliness. Many have mistaken his silence for absence, and received quite the surprise when realizing he is silently watching.(2) (1) Nap is to sleep for a short period. To "nap for an extended amount of time" is a contradiction of the word. I suggest: Replace "nap" for "sleep". (2) There's no need for a serial comma. I'd recommend reconstructing the sentence: "Many have received quite the surprise by mistaking his silence for absence, when in fact he silently watches them." Edited title would be: Awarded this title for his ability to sleep for long periods with one eye open. Although his activity has waned in recent times, he is still known to haunt the Path of Loneliness. Many have received quite the surprise by mistaking his silence for absence, when in fact he silently watches them. Only my views and comments; ignore if unneeded. Otherwise, awesome job!
24. As per this I will offer my writing and editing services wherever possible, if needed.
