Today is my last day within the MD Realm. Casually, I spent the last few days exploring all lands, to my surprise, I discovered two scenes I never saw before! Then I didn't imagine that it would lead to a perfect farewell, but so it happened, the last walk through MD.
*Ambitions: I guess I fulfilled most of my personal ambitions for MD. Although I never became King! Shame! I will proudly call myself the King of Nothing!
*Moments: One of my favourite MD moment was one of the times I played Confused Santa. That night two of us played the account, so the shifting personalities confused a lot of people. That was Hilarious!
*Contributions: I will brag for once, cause it is my final post!

As a normal player, I built my reputation, earned trust, and gained the maximum access the game, full admin and code/server access. You can accomplish even more! Get involved. Contribute to the development of the game. Give ideas, bring in new players. Don't be afraid to comment and step-up.
Today, I say farewell to a community I've known for almost nine years, a community I contributed to. All I can say is thanks for the great moments and the not so great ones. It made me a better human being.
To Chew and Mur, I will say keep up the good work. Keep MD alive. Think about the few suggestions I made you both.

Hey All-
Today is my last day within the MD Realm. Casually, I spent the last few days exploring all lands, to my surprise, I discovered two scenes I never saw before! Then I didn't imagine that it would lead to a perfect farewell, but so it happened, the last walk through MD.
*Ambitions: I guess I fulfilled most of my personal ambitions for MD. Although I never became King! Shame! I will proudly call myself the King of Nothing!
*Moments: One of my favourite MD moment was one of the times I played Confused Santa. That night two of us played the account, so the shifting personalities confused a lot of people. That was Hilarious!
*Contributions: I will brag for once, cause it is my final post!
Active LHO for quite some time. Active MP6, one with the most adepts at the time. Got me the MP6 Token of Promise. MD's Advertiser: Promoted MD in over a hundred Top Lists and took over MD's social media for various years. Did much secret stuff I can't talk about! Hehe! Ps. if you care for the game, voting for it is essential. Hosted several events and several quests: MD Summer Festivals, MD Xmas Festivals, many random trivia, etc.  Hosted a couple of Christmas and Anniversaries. Now, this often involves sacrificing lots of time and having to play secretly a couple of admin accounts so that you as a member of the community can have some fun. Seems i almost missed my chance, as there are threads about the next drachorn guy already...
Just wanted to put some sort of official closure to my reign here, too. As most of you know by now, i've resigned from the spot this forum is about, mostly due to lack of time and energy to make the sort of quests you folks deserve.
I haven't always agreed with all of you, and i'll gladly admit that i liked some of you more than others, but speaking for myself, i've had an amazing time, and i hope that some of you had a bit of fun with the way i handled this part, too.
So long, and try to not get in touch with me role-wise from here on out

I get five mins of "free" time and here am I sticking my nose back to MD bahh... Either way...
In an optimal way the jail system should be automated, as in the spell would set a certain amount of time for the ban and after the time is fulfilled user is returned to GoE.
Emailing people to get out is just a waste of time in my opinion (emails could get lost, never read, etc). 
 
Now from the developer side... since not many people are jailed, I would say that there's not enough people for such an automated feature to be made...
Aside of that, its been ages since CM was banned, he fulfilled his jail time and he should be released and not be submitted to another "trial" by speaking to you or Mur and explaining if he understood or not. If he fails again, then give him a tougher jail time, simple...

Sounds like kidnap? It IS kidnap, and what could be more terrifyingly exciting than being kidnapped by your mates for a party? Worried you'll get tied to a lamp post with your pants down? I would be! You might be! It's all on the cards in MD this Bifday.
 
Now lets be honest people, we have some fuel on this fire with the prize bundles pounding their way into our reality, and what a prize bundle it has become, and its only growing! Just yesterday, a winged messenger squawked in my ear to UPGRADE! my prize bundles! and with 10 quests already set, that's no small feat! There are darklings, morphs, tainteds, items, wps, and the quests out there range from roleplay to craft to battle, there's definitely something for everyone.
 
Some quests from all us quest builders are already running, so get your flat caps on and have at them! and if you haven't made a quest yet? what are you waiting for!

At the Hall of the Great Sun a dance contest will be held April 19th at 20mdst. Participants will sign up by posting their name and id to this forum topic.
 
If enough people have signed up, teams of two will be assigned.
 
If there are not many people who sign up, then it will be solo performances.
 
Sign ups end Friday 17th and you will be messaged who your partner is (if there is one).
 
Do not share who your partners are.
 
If there is an odd number of people, then a substitute will be found.
 
You may have props (items) used in your dance but it has to be in your inventory to use it.
 
Arrive on time, if you are late to your performance or do not show. Then you forfeit the contest.
 
Scoring will be based upon a scale of 1 to 10. 1 = you did not arrive and forfeited or broke the rules and 10 = you (& your partner) did really well and showed that the two of you put thought into it.
 
Judges will send me their scores and it will be added up. Which ever person/team receives the highest score gets 1st place to 3rd place.

Rules being: No alts, can only dance once, must have a partner (unless solo performance are chosen by default then if you do not show up or late to your time frame you forfeit the contest), and a dance is limited to 10 minutes (it can be less but do not go over the 10 minute mark).
 
In case of a tie... Then if I have enough silver and rp items, it will go to the teams that tied for those positions (so if two teams tie for first then all four people will get the first place reward). If I do not have the rewards available then there will have to be a tie breaker of some sort.

Survivors of first rounds will be drawn again against each other (losers might have to fight again between them to balance the amount of players advancing)

So, Actually we are in a LOT better position than I thought we were. I was under the impression that the festival started Wednesday! LOL

So, in terms of organising rewards, planning quests, we are miles ahead of where we were last year, and have a lot more going on! Lots has been organised much earlier than I planned too and I apologise for pushing anyone to get things done but getting things done much earlier than planned means we can actually relax for the first time ever. Slight changes will be made next year but actually this has been the best organised festival ever compared to last years one.
 
I think the main "bonus" is the day hosts, they have (and are still being) awesome and we have a lot more going on than before.
 
Im slightly unsure about the shorter length of the festival compared to the past one (last time it was two weeks) but I think this will pack even more things into the time period.
