1. To say the least, you have definitely made my day!~ I have to say, you sound all.. halloweeny and such. Like... a creepy butcher carving out the remains of a pumpkin to prove your admiration for my God.. > > I love it, that is all I can say. <3
2. Happy Birthday, Mister! <3
3. For those already applying: I would like to wait a few more days to get more applications put in before doing any thing more. I apologize for the delay, but it helps me in the long run with figuring out who to choose. Thank you.
4. The judging is on a tier system. I prefer to keep the prizes and such a system without knowledge to the people because honestly, only the judges truly need to know and that has already been sorted out. What I will divulge is that there will be comments [if applicable, I am guessing. Depends on the judge, but it is requested that they do], on what they liked, and what to do better if needed. We will do our best to have someone with AccousticRemains at the site, however, sometimes that is not applicable. We prefer to have you send in your stories before the event in case of such a thing happening. If you do not do that, then we cannot be responsible for your laziness and you will not get judged and will not get any prizes. Please refer to the Notice I have posted regarding sending your story submissions. I would also like to state that Story Night has been organized to be every TWO weeks, instead of three. Thank you. Along with that, as I have said before: Both Kyphis and myself prefer having your stories sent via FORUM PM. NOT GAME.
5. Alright folks. It seems that during all of Story Night I have been doing most of the load, and point blank: I need help. There is only one exact spot that I can think of, perhaps more. This spot is simply to be helping me with PMing the judges with stories, sending them notices, preparing the times, advertising, and basically just general things to organize things. This person would also be of help to bounce ideas off of, and take my place with hosting in case I would like to share a piece myself, or in case we need them because of some other happening, such as my not being able to make it. I am more than willing to trade off with hosting in case that person is unable to make it, or wishes to present a piece theirself. I am leaning towards someone who has organized something of this fashion before, but I am not impartial towards people willing to give it a try. However, one thing that I would like to say for those who would like to 'try': To me, this is like a job. To you, I am like your boss. I don't want you doing this job just because you want it to add to your resume list of jobs just because it looks good. I want someone who CARES as much as I do. That being said, I am particularly picky. Some of you will apply, but only one [or maybe two, I don't know yet] will be chosen. The interviewing will be long, because I have to know that that person will have the right of mind not to spill anything said between Boss and Employee, so to say, about the night in particular. Example: Person A gets a piece in, and I look it over, and give my commentation, and such, and discuss it with Employee A. Person B comes in with a piece that I also look over, speak about it with Employee A, and they know perhaps.. Person A personally, and decides to blab about what was said. That right there, will not be tolerated. I will be strict in privacy because these are people's "babies," so to say, just as Story Night is my "baby." Applicants will need to have creativity, instead of just analytical background, namely because this is a creative event. For those who are denied, I won't mind giving a reason why for those who ask. I would prefer the applicants use the following format: Name: Age[game wise]: Past events organized [if applicable]: Alliance/Citizenship [if applicable]: A reason why you want to help: From there, everything else will be determined in a series of interviews. Note: My apologies if I rambled.
6. As I was told, the people will not always accept who is chosen for the night. Some may complain, and others be bitter. There's a lot of chance with doing this, but this is why I am asking the community first. Do you, or do you not, think this is worthwhile?

[Don't want to make another edit.] There will be a deadline. By the next server reset at 0:00 Server time, the deadline to receive your Stories, Poems, whatever, will no longer be available. I suggest if you want your pieces judged, then you do the following: Meet me at The Necrovion Gate, or Marind Bell Park and PM me in game or In Forum with your submission. From there, I will then give the following pieces to the Judges to look over. Once they have eached received the pieces, they will all have five [5] days to then complete the judging and return their grading to me. Once that is taken care of, there will be a post stating who has received what. If for any chance a piece is ever eligable for a WP, there will be an extra few days [I am thinking three] for the King or Kings to look them over and decide if it is valid. From there, the person will be notified. If at all for any reason you DO NOT come to claim your prize, you no longer are able to receive it. Everyone has 24 hours to claim their prize. Once more, thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Curiose.~

This notice is for all those participating in Story Night. [I didn't want this mugging up the Story Night Post nor the LS spot in the forums and.. yeah. If the Mods think it appropriate to move it, please do.] This Story Night Session [10/20/10] was a bit hectic as you know. However, that does not excuse you from following certain things that the organizers of the event have set out to do. We set such things out for your benefit, but will certainly be okay [as much as it pains myself], with having the few who don't want the certain benefits not get that treatment. Story Night is needing your stories not just for presenting them in case of being unable to attend, but for judging as well. We give everyone the equal opportunity of sharing their pieces and going for the top prize of a WP. If you do not give us your pieces for said judging, before or after* Story Night, then we cannot track you down and ask that you give us your story. I am willing this round to hunt you all down and collect those I have not received, but for now on, if you don't turn them in, we can't promise you will get your pieces judged. Thank you all for your understanding and cooperation. Curiose~ *After Story Night refers to sending in your story once you have presented it. There will be a notice at the beginning, during the event, and including after about sending in your stories.
9. The Night won't be just about Legends per say, but about people who have done something for MD. That reasoning is mainly because of the fine line between who is a legend and who is not, and the debate about such a thing. If there was a broader spectrum, more people will be recognized, and as such, more time to share with the community. : 3
10. I understand, Chewett. I was partly thinking myself of speaking to the Legends theirselves, and seeing what they would like said about them.
11. What I would suggest, is to simply play the game, instead of getting someone's reference code, then.
12. When someone gives a reference code to a friend or someone of the like, the following happens: That person becomes their adept, which is almost like a bonus, in the sense that it allows you to advance in a certain way, of which you will have to find out yourself. ; D The person who get the adept, will get an additional 15 free credits once that person becomes an mp5, which will be explained within the game. It is beneficial for new players, such as yourself, to have someone well advanced in the game who is well knowledgable to be adept of. There is a lot to learn, and your Mentor is as big a help as the rest of the community.
13. That would be wonderful, Renavoid. I forgot to say that the Legends who are still around will be able to tell them theirself, so as to give more authenticity to it, I suppose. As for having it twice a month, I think we could do that. I was just fearing the people getting run down about it being done for very often, and it losing its purpose.
14. As of late, I have been pondering something that I believe will be of importance to the community. I may be wrong in its 'importance,' but, I feel that to educate the public, and to honor those who have left us, to organize something for them in their favor would be a great gesture of appreciation. [What a run on...] Another reason as to why I want to organize this is not because it's an idea that simply came to me, but rather, because there have been people who have suggested something of this sort. I am doing this for the people, rather than for anything else. I have not thought it through fully as of yet, but that is because I have been busy organizing other such things. What I wanted was the thoughts of the general public before truly getting this started, and to see what we all could do together as a community. My intentions for this is strictly to honor the Legends of MagicDuel. There will be no prizes. There will [hopefully] be no fighting, due to respect. What I am wanting, is for perhaps myself, or others in my Alliance to step forth with tales of the Legends. There will be one for each night, and people can discuss after the commemoration the deeds, and disperse then after. If there are Legends who are still around, who would like to display their own tales, it would be appreciated if they contact myself [or anyone else in Legend Speakers once/if this happens] so that we know you are available and that we can prepare. This is in hopes to be done on a Sanctuary day, so as to also entertain the people while also serving a purpose. It will be held once a month, at different times and Sanctuary days so as to accomodate busy schedules. Your thoughts and oppinions will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

CURSE YOU AND YOUR BLOODIED MOTHER AND MAY YOUR FATHER ROT IN PURGATORY!!!!!!! Ahem.. Non MD Related: Doing extensive yard work, helping the couple I live with for the weekend take care of the animals, pick up peacock feathers, groom the horses, take one out for a ride, work with him... uh. Find infinite ways of keeping myself warm for Creepy Hollow [Halloween scare thingy.]
17. Welcome, do enjoy your stay. I do hope that you feel free to ask around and ask for help. Myself and others will be more than ever.
18. If you want the bloody crown you will have to fight for it. You will have to have the people's votes and you will have to deal with the current format of kingship. I personally will -not- let you tear down Necrovion. I will NOT let you do as you please just so you can wave your bloody little birthright around and acting like some pompus fool treading over the people that I care for. I do not want you as King. As for the rest of you people who think that Jester is a weak king, why not look at your own and see what THEY have done. Necrovion has never be want for revealing things so easily, why should it change now? Just because you all can't understand? I've said my piece, and I ask that this thread be taken down. It's been dragged on enough.
19. You don't need to scan your pictures, actually.. My Mushroom, I drew myself, and some very helpful friends helped me with photoshop to help it fit the criteria. The picture was still hand drawn, but a different method was used to get it uploaded. Give that a try.
20. If you believe the people to be useless and nothing more than paper, then you do NOT deserve to be King. You don't deserve anything of that sort.
21. If what Yrthillian and Pippy say are true, and you truly are an alt,I only have this to say: Why would you be so... greedy, a to claim something that is "yours," when, if you really are an alt, it is no more yours than a thief stealing a bit of chocolate from the store? If the real person wanted to take the role, and claim it, then it would not be half an issue as I see it now. You are not only stealing from the rest of the community, but from regular players as well who strive to make a difference in the land, and also from that actual player whose -real- right it is to claim his birthplace. It does not bode well with me, and I am sure for others they feel the same. I say this now: if by the grace of whatever God, you happen to be King: I will fight tooth and nail for the people and not for a bloody alt.
22. While my opinion on this matter may not be well educated on this issue, or with any meaning in this sense: I have to agree with Awii and Jester. You came in, expecting something to be handed to you... Have you ever bothered to educate yourself on what the people want? People seem happy with Jester, as I am. If people were not, then I am sure someone would have stepped forth to try and claim the throne. Demanding that you get the crown, as you speak, seems to me of only childish wants and nothing more than to carry on something long dead. resurrecting something, from the looks of it... How do you expect it to work again? Do you even know enough about MD? Do you know how to even act like a leader and treat people how they should be under the same respect that is considered fair, but reasonable? As you said before: The people do not know you. The people do not know what you are capable of. It seems strictly to me that you are drawing in things that happened in RP to draw your basis... while yes, RP is an important factor, to me, it turns me off to the thought of you gaining the crown. You want the crown because of something that happened in an RP, not because you duly deserve such a thing.
23. Happy Birthday MY wonderful wonderful fuzzy little Pample-Navel. : D May you no wrinkles to coming age.
24. Then I correct myself. If not to the LHO, to Shadow Seeker if he is still willing to help out.
25. Curi's Corner Update: Added "Cretin" 10/8/10 http://decrepitschaine.livejournal.com/6902.html *This story is particular in the sense that for those who do happen to read this, I would prefer that they PM their responses/thoughts/questions/answers, etc to me. I am interested to see what people think of this particular piece, for I think it is one of the better pieces I have written, including the fact I find it interesting to see how people perceive what is happening throughout the story. Thank you for your input. Curiose.
