  1. I'm pissed off. I tried making a review, and between cursing at my tongue-tied mistakes and shitty recording software (OBS studio) which slowed down my pc and eventually recorded NOTHING, I ended up with nothing but frustration. Yay I'll just put here the recording script I made, perhaps it can be of use. game review.txt
  2. When clicking on certain equipment in the respective page, the artwork is missing. Missing for: Royal greaves, Sun God armour boots, Medusa Ceremonial armour dagger.
  3. I know, this is what I meant by 'steady progression' in my reply. But it didn't work in my case and it's not working without enough players. Meanwhile, mp3 has some advantages of its own; the mp4 status is somewhere in the middle, with not much attention given...or so I see it. What I was suggesting was incentivizing some people to stay at mp4 longer and this way there'd always be some mp4 around, but seeing Chewett's and Mur's reply, I think they are against making it 'special'. I get it, there's a danger there.
  4. Weelll...I'm not sure it can be fiexd completely. You'd have to specify all the possible layouts/ resolutions, which is... what I got was the one with all names jumbled (this is laptop resolution, 1366x768, and I think 120% zoom). It kinda fixed itself, then went to this state again after setting some trees. THis happened for 11 players in the scene
  5. It could be as you say, but what exactly are the perks of staying mp4 and not rushing to mp5? I remember, when finally deciding to advance from mp3 4-5 years ago, I, too, wanted to explore more of what mp4 offers. And there were only a few mp4s, so I asked Tal, after one or two months, to cap me. I wanted a 'steady' progression, but I found mp4 wasn't offering much, perhaps due to the lack of people at that mindpower. For mp3, if I remember correctly, fighting is very easy, and you can enjoy pummeling with some vicious ritual with (tokened) imps, jokers, pimps etc It's a 'carefree state', although you're not capable of doing much (or as much). That's a perk in itself. For mp4, it's only interesting as long as you have companions, isn't it? Perhaps I'm not aware of some options?
  6. I believe the problem is that mp4 is designed as 'transitory par excellence'; of course there would be few to none mp4s when you have either some achievements or 'god' status at mp3 and then all the creatures and everything else at mp5. To have a couple perma mp4, I think some advantages must be given for staying at this stage longer, such as a 'secret' creature level for one or two crits that is available only at mp4 (making it so that some people would enjoy a sort of combat superiority) or a bonus to ve farming, or maybe one or two spells that are available only to mp4s. Nothing major, but something that gives mp4 more time, time that would be spent on battle, exploration or even collecting resources.
  7. Pro: AP will not be meaningless (I think it wasn't that meaningless anyway, but those boots...:D) and you'd have to think about it more carefully Con: if you end up having to plan everything (maybe even having to count AP by the unit), it becomes a pain and not fun at all Pro: it will 'force' (stimulate?) cooperation between a low AP player and a high AP player Con: it will reduce the possibility of exploration of a new player In view of this, I just though of something: why not add a few more teleport_to spells in the WP shop? Pro: it will make things harder to obtain (it's a pro, because many things which should not be cheap will not be cheap anymore) Con: it will make things harder to obtain (which is bad in the case of, say, training crits...suddenly, it's not so easy to farm them, but even if in theory this stimulates competition and divides real grinders from average players, it's hard for a new player to even consider grinding when you have so many people with high stats) I voted for the change, but now that I think about it, I'm not sure it's good. If it gets pushed, though, it'll be interesting.
  8. I'm making a forum topic on it. Bounties are a thing in many games, it's always nice to receive something 'for free'. I'm not against it, but can it be coded so that the location also matters? or perhaps some rewards be increased/decreased depending on the volition stat
  9. Poor Sunny (you should've put this in the Bad/funny RP topic you opened some time ago, because it didn't get enough love)
  10. As it seems I also have a lot of them, I would like to buy 1 anniv creature 9 rp items 1 anniv piece of cake Ungod

@Zetsuei I think you can buy mirrorit spellstones for cheap. This way, you can also use them for combat.
  12. Yes, it's as you say, and of course the idea of a user-driven system is very good, especially since with A25 Tools, there will be content there that will bring other aspects into the game. I was thinking, though, that some of the original MD must be put into words before all that. (I don't really care about how you would advance - whether it's 10 lvl1 clues to advance to lvl2 clues and then 20 lvl2 clues to get to lvl3 or just from 10 to 10 and so on. I bought 20 research clues with 2 WPs, but they were kind of a waste)
  13. Afaik, there is no shop item that even comes close in terms of loyalty cost to 1000. Map identities is a special item that makes locate spell even less important, but if it's too ''nice'', then it shouldn't be in the shop in the first place. Now, farming 1000 loyalty is not that hard, probably, but it's kind of a jump.
  14. In theory, there is a system in place that works, with submitting research ideas and all. I think that for starters, much of the ancient lore behind MD should be put into these clues. Much of it has been forgotten, with players who discovered it leaving, so perhaps now not even Mur remembers it all. The idea was that players who discover things become mentors for players to come, but what happens when the new players don't come or are less interested? So for starters, research clues must be written up to 7 or 10 or whatever is max now.
  15. I have to thank my judges for taking the burden to assess the submissions. The results give AIA the first position, with Chewett and Dhyone following! I only wish there were more participants. Let's have more quests in the future!
  16. It's pretty clean, so I like it. It also looks like it's mobile-friendly (or mobile-intuitive)
  17. This is a mad, mad idea. These 'veins' will make the cube alive, but there's nothing to compare them to irl...in a body, the brain sends and receives information along nerves, but Deathmarrow is no brain. The heart distributes blood, but Deathmarrow is no heart for the cube. Comparing them to the systems of Western medicine is misleading, it's better to compare them to the meridians of Chi from the traditional Chinese medicine, since those deal primarily with electricity and heat circulation in the body. But then, the veins and nerves and invisible Chi meridians all follow the body structure and the way they are arranged show the role of the body parts. In the case of this cube, if it all converges into the arbitrary point of Deathmarrow, what is the role of this point for the existence of the cube? And what kind of cube are we talking about, ultimately, with such a 'centre of gravity'? The GoE is irrelevant... This is too heavy for a Monday, but at least I can confirm this is madness.
  18. Let's start one more bid war: 2 silver on each reanimated roots 2 silver on each sharptear 2 silver on each bp archer 2 silver on each imp 2 silver on each joker (colored, uncolored) 1 silver on each mirrorit stone 2 s on 2 movelock stones
  19. Scratch that, it may be my laptop, because I can see other people's bestiary creatures. Mine are 'loading' indefinitely.
  20. Not a top priority, but it looks like the artwork of creatures immortalized in bestiaries is not loading in the new interface.
  21. I can't wait to see if the heat veins will have an impact on viscosity
  22. I suppose this wasn't clear enough, my bad: Ok, I am hereby declaring the quest finished; thank you, participants ! wait for the results in a week or two
  23. My avi looks really sad in this...funny, I never would've imagined it being like that. Awesome. Dhyone, can you confirm the scene, please? Tomorrow I'll end the quest.
  24. So the vets will beg for newbs to recruit crits for them. Power to the people! (the new people) yea, regenerating WI as a % might not be the way
