NFTs created from the new api, in md, from bestiary creatures. You can find them also on opensea.io where you can view there rarity and such.
Currently there is no way for anyone to create such nfts, but this is just because nobody showed any interest in this feature.
I will cobtinue working on in-game interfwces for this, or i will just use them for personal transfers and rewards..depends only on your feedback

magicduel.com is not the official erc-20 (eth, polygon) address for md on the eth blockchain.
Magucduel.eth is also a valid ens domain name bound to the official address.
This is part of a series of experiments i do in the crypto direction

Announcement 3170
How do you know? If what you say is true, then what you did is fall into the enemy s trap. Also, it means we (the participants) have been used by DD.

Halloween Bloody Scene
Just an opinion: you need more time to decorate all those scenes. I suggest extending the deadline.

What's the most fun thing for you to do in MD?
Laze around.

Blue
yeah, I get this on the laptop and they vanish immediately. Thing is, I dont recall this happening before (a week before now :) ) and I only had one tab on.

Blue
I dont know what this is, but Im posting it anyway, since it didnt happen before (as far as I remember). When I scroll up my inventory page, I get blue stripes. The slower I scroll, the more stripes I get (and thicker ones, too). If its a Chrome issue, this is the last straw. http://storenow.net/my/?f=2b2f016eb59a6a8e011eaab574ee3922

After I come back from the East, I will test it. Could you rephrase that, please? (I was passing through LR for the first time that day)

Death
Why do I have the feeling no one really reads my posts? Methinks I should write 2-3 lines because I confuse you all ... For the victim, my idea is in the rebirth topic. For the killer, I had some ideas that would enhance the role-play. I pretty much thought that without spelling those ideas, the topic would be misunderstood. Oh, well

Death
After writing http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/topic/15773-rebirth/, I was told by a few that the idea was interesting. Now, what was found to be interesting was not the idea itself, as people do not conceive being demoted to mp3, but rather the implicit idea that death takes something away from you. The reasoning is that something so important as death cannot be treated lightly and in case of a murder, there should be consequences. Currently, the situation is like this http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/topic/14852-killing-and-revival/?hl=killing Now, I read some ideas posted in this topic http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/topic/14718-where-is-the-punishment-for-murder/?hl=killing and, from what I understand, killing and reviving is not supposed to be a critical matter, as it is in RL (so no need to put more ”reality” into it). The problem lies in that, even if its about a virtual death, we (human beings) see it as a very serious matter. This is only one side of the coin, though. While this might be the reason for some, for others, its the fact that death as we have it now is not fun. It is...simply boring and needs aditional layers (the whole thing about death, killing and revival). At this point, the question is ”Do we want the concept of death to have deeper implications than it currently has?” I think the balance bows to yes rather than no (at least, at the moment). And I think the topic created by Nimrodel, although it talks about ”punishment”, can be easily turned into - by someone who is not upset by the whole thing - ”consequences”. Now, I have some ideas as to what those concequences might be for the killer( for the victim, they are in the ”rebirth” topic), but I dont want to go ahead and tell them, because I might have got the whole thing wrong and people dont want killing in MD or they want it just as it is now. So, ”Do we want the concept of death to have deeper implications than it currently has in MD?”

Rebirth
Hmm...I dont mean resetting everything, just the mind power and the personal heat. Creatures dont get reset. I thought that you wouldnt be able to use most of your crits, since the powerful ones, maxed, cant be used in rituals and you would have to go acquire new ones. Isnt this the case? As for alliances, this is a hard one. For one, death means the vessel is gone, but the spirit of it remains, somewhere in another plain. So, this would mean that staying in an alliance shoould be allowed. I repeat, I didnt propose resetting everything. The problem of this idea is another one:) (althought there are some other important ones) Edit: the situation wouldnt change much in some aspects. if you die, the present ”vessel” is gone, so your spirit would be incapacitated until it finds a new one (the new one has the same name, because it bears the same spirit - your spirit). the period of incapacitation is what right now is the period when you are a ”ghost” and the tool of revival would be a tool that directs the spirit into a new vessel

Rebirth
Reading Rhaegar s post, I remembered about a thought process that happened some months ago. You see, in the Christian religion we have this idea that somehow, someone - a holy being - died and was ressurected. This idea is very powerful. Now, game makers in the world adopted this idea without giving much thought. It helps serve a very important purpouse - that of saving a character progress, so that a player does not lose ”himself” when he/she dies. In this way, the idea of death can be implemented in a game and sucha n idea is inherently interesting - because it embodies our greatest fear. A game where you can die, but ressurect, appeals to us greatly - and it is a cultural thing, as well, as I will explain. We have death and ressurection (with a dark variant - necromancy). But if we look at the source of this idea, we will probably find the closest one in the phoenix bird - the creature that dies and from its ashes a new egg appears. A creature that ”revives”, but in cush a way that it can be called immortal. Lets go even further...how come the human being came up with this idea of something that re-creates itself? Any species, through mating, creates a ”copy” in each new living thing - a unique ”copy”. In this way, a species (humans, too) can be seen as immortal. We live through our children, the same way our parents live through us. This is, in my opinion, the way the idea of ressurection was born. Kingdoms are reborn, ideas are reborn - but only in spirit. The vessel is always different. So, why this long explanation? Because the idea of ressurection, used in all games, goes too far from its original source, which saw the spirit eternal, not the vessal. Rebirth is actually more befitting to a ”sane” thinking than ressurection and this should be implemented, just like a creature transferred to another player returns to its ”egg”. So, what i propose is that players killed have all their personal heat eliminated and they return to mp3. Once there, they will have to regain the heat to advance, but...they will be most likely unable to use most of their creatures. The idea of a rebirth, in which you start anew, in a way, speaks about death in a more...coherent way, although this is very distant to us, culturally speaking. I dont know if revival items could be used in such an occasion; maybe an other tool. (3 things to add: I used the terms ”rebirth”, ”ressurection” and ”revival” loosely, I shouldnt have, but I wrote this on the spot; this is a rather delicat subject in that I dont know if something essential changes in terms of game mechanics, its more of a philosophic thing; currently, there are bonuses in story mode, so the idea would only work if story mode is removed)

Volition increasing when you not moving
OK, maybe this would need a separate topic, but here might be good as well. I am now in LR and I checked to see if I gain volition after I go through each scene (viscosity is +40). Turns out that if I go through one scene, I gain no volition, then after going through the next one I get 0.08. Maybe this is because I go through the scenes too fast, but it seems you get volition from every two scenes, not from each. Can someone double check this? Or explain it to me if I understood this whole deal wrong. :D Edit: it looks like I get volition if I wait a bit in the scene. That having been said, if I move around fast, I dont get it, nor do I lower viscosity.

Gates (not Bill)
To build a reinforced gate, a land would require resources that it has acces to (lets call them ”specific”) and an amount of other resources, such as timeless dust, syntropic dust or other. To maintain the level of the gates, it would need a small amount of such specific resources per day(?)/week. However, when entering a foreign land, you would have to pay a ”specific” of your land. This way, in a land treasury would end up resources which are usually not available to it (for example, bones would end up in LR treasury or resin in GG treasury). This is the dynamism that I thought of - however, it would need a bit of restructuring of resource distribution and it would make shared items less useful desirable(?). There are many things that would have to be considered.
-
Gates (not Bill)
My idea was to break down the gates by sending a big amount of resources through them (the weakening thing), but Im sure there are better ideas. Feel free to indulge in this fantasy even more and come up with stuff :D

Gates (not Bill)
I am posting this because: 1) I am sure this will not be used as I imagined it (which is good) and 2) even though 1), it could create useful spinoffs.
The whole idea of reinforced gates, in my mind, served an RP purpouse more than any other. It is there to emphasize the idea of a ”gate”, with all the restrictions that come with it. At the same time, something like this might become a hindrance, a nuisance to players, so for me its a very delicate concept. it could go wrong for a number of reasons, but also good. By the way, the following contain highly disturbing ideas; if you suffer from ... anything, stop reading here. Before reading the announcement, I had about 2-3 days to think about how this could work, so what you read now is the process I imagined. I doubt of it now. As we have it right now, the way to stop people from entering a land (not only mainlands) is through AP limitations. You cant remove this system unless you want to make a major change. So, how can you combine the AP system and at the same time create variable difficulty in entering lands? The way I thought of it is by creating a guard. In other words, a clickie which serves the role of a guard (I leave the visuals to you). Lets take it step by step. Firstly, the reinforced gates have to be built. The materials have to come in large amounts (progressively). This has to be a community effort, where community is the land population. Where mats are scarce, they can be bought (tools rent, crits sold etc). GG would have something like an earth wall, created with the sand from the beaches of Golemus and huge amounts of water. NC could have a bone shield, made of bones and syntropic dust. Marind could have an orb made of water and timeless dust, while LR could have a thicket made of lumber and branches, resin and wiiya (?). What would be the purpouse of reinforcing the gates? Well, with each level, the cost to enter the land increases. It can increase in steady folds, like +100, or progressively - +50, +100, +150 etc. The numbers given are variables - lands that should be harder to enter can have higher values of AP. You will ask - then what is the point of change? NC has 666 already, wouldnt this be the same thing? It would simply give a chance to other lands to come to the same values as NC. Secondly, after the gates are reinforced (if they are - this is a ”cold war”), the guard will come in use. Basically, a player can choose to cross the gate at its maximum level, if he/she has the AP or to talk to the guard. Talking to the guard goes like this: you click on it, it asks you where you are from. You get a list of lands and choose which one you are a citizen of. If you are NC, you get to choose to pay. You pay a certain amount of a certain resource, which goes directly into the land treasury of the land you want to enter (when they will exist:P) and the AP cost is reset, only for you, until regeneration counter ends. Now, the resource is to be debated and agreed by ALL lands. At the same time, you get to choose how much of a resource you want to pay, thus choosing how many levels you want to go down. For instance, you only pay 3 wiiya to enter GG, which lowers the AP cost as if the gate was level 2 (levels are 1-5). If you pay 4 wiiya, the cost is reduced and you enter the gate as if the gate was level 1. After choosing to pay the resource, there should be alist showing you the values and you choose from 1 to 5 values. Here comes the cool part. You can lie and say you are a citizen of another land. If you say you are a citizen of LR (and you are NC) and choose to pay, you will pay the resource that a lorerootian would pay. There is a 50% chance you will be recognized and the punishment for that is...no res back, no entry and all VE lost. This is wrong, bribing guard sounds better. There are other issues, as well. MB, for example, has to be an open land to most newbs. In this respect, NML ”citizen” would have to pay no resources to enter the land, at minimum of AP cost. What happens when a NC disguises himself/herself and pretends to be a NML ”citizen”? Same as above, the guard may be sleepy and you will enter MB. Chance of success should be lower - 20% or lower. What else? Oh, gates have to be mainteined weekly or else they crumble. This means a weekly input of several resources. Also, they can be weakened by enemies. Suppose some hotshot comes with 1000 wiiya at the gates of MB and chooses to pay that amount (yes, this should be the 6th option added there). During the time that wiiya has to go to the land treasury, the gate will be wiiide open. This means that the gate will drop down one level. This comes in hand when at war. Another option (and this would remove land papers) would be ”enter by password”. Each day (week?) a minimum of 3 persons from a land will come up with a password (one comes up with it, 2 validate it). Citizen wouldnt need it, but an outsider can be told the pass and he/she can enter the land at minimum AP cost.
Now, why do I write this when Im sure it wont be used? As I said, maybe it will create some better ideas in someones head. P:S: I am not writing this, my ghost is. I am sound asleep in my bed:p

Gates (not Bill)
Ok, so as I was playing with the MD interface, digging for useless stuff to keep me from getting bored, I clicked the MD link to Facebook (I have no FB account, btw). And as I kept scrolling down, reading various updates, I stumbled across this http://magicduel.com/page/Announcement/view/2577, posted there as well. Now, I am respectfully asking myself - what the hell?? The idea that I thought it was 100% original was actually in the Ann. from last year ?? (I joined last year in December and although I read all the ann. afterwards, I read none of the ones posted before my joining date) ........................................................................................................................................................................................................ So, all thats left for me to do is to respectfully ask the mods to cut my post from http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/topic/15761-powerful-land-items-and-abilities/page-3#entry155737 along with those commenting on it and paste it here and maybe I will develop what I thought was an original idea here. The second thing I wil have to do is start reading all announcements, from the beginning. -_-

Once upon a god not again Chew stopped coding time and space, all was lost. Meanwhile Mur and BHF did nothing to stop the streams of fiery chicken shaped shade-demons, but instead both refined their grammar drinking sake allot with green elephants while twerking on the GoE steps, holding a huge chained wrecking ball. It exploded and the cube refolded. Chewett died horribly - STOP KILLING PEOPLE! Or I shall [kill you all - ]

Powerful land items and abilities
Referring to MB only: cant we call an Angien? Around that being, our defense would be increased by folds (it could also respect the duration of a burst when out the scene) and death would be impossible (again, crazy idea). edit: land weapons: presence of the angien/shade/drachorn/treant (dont know what they would do)

Authority List
I would like to know what it takes to get into the AL :D No, seriously, the last chapter of the AL is from 2013, at a 4 years diference from the previous one and it all happened because one day Maebius felt like killing all Death Guards. Sure, that kind of plan failed, but perhaps we can come up with better ones? :)
