NFTs created from the new api, in md, from bestiary creatures. You can find them also on opensea.io where you can view there rarity and such.
Currently there is no way for anyone to create such nfts, but this is just because nobody showed any interest in this feature.
I will cobtinue working on in-game interfwces for this, or i will just use them for personal transfers and rewards..depends only on your feedback

magicduel.com is not the official erc-20 (eth, polygon) address for md on the eth blockchain.
Magucduel.eth is also a valid ens domain name bound to the official address.
This is part of a series of experiments i do in the crypto direction

Cross Mind Power Theory
Since that's out of the way I'll give some thoughts on the discussion here... I like Fang's idea in his original post the best, make "fair fights" trigger across mind power levels only, not within mind power levels, while allowing all mind powers to attack eachother. This way lower mp levels have a chance to win against higher mind power levels in combat. There are some pros and cons to this, an mp5 attacking an mp3 looking to get free wins will have to be aware that none of their stats/tokens will count in that fight, and a mp3 attacking an mp5 could assume they will have some advantage in this way. The way mind power levels are set up currently is such that being mp3 is worse than being mp4, mp4 worse than mp5 as far as combat is concerned. Worse meaning, less chance to be able to defeat those of a higher mind power level mainly due to creature restrictions and less principle choices, but also due to factors pertaining to less time spent within the game. While I do not exactly agree with the creature restrictions in place at mp3/4 it does give a slight sense of progression and fits with the narrative the game gives you. If adding cross mindpower level fights were to coincide with removing creature restrictions then we are removing much of what makes mindpower 3 and 4 what they are, early stages of the game to grow and learn how the game works in. If allowing all the mind power levels to attack eachother currently there is a large imbalance, that I think is best fixed by the "fair fights" being set to apply in cross mindpower level fights. Also, the BHC may have been affecting the way new players interacted with the guards in their fights, which may be a reason why fair fights within a mindpower level is not a good idea. About Skill Damage... Don't remove Eon's skill damage, keep the functionality just give him an option to turn it on or off, or at worst, remove it from his profile if he agrees. His skilldamage is far from the worst thing to happen to the game, perhaps the lack of new players is the worst thing, I saw what it did to the players though. They ran from him, hid in sanctuaries, logged out etc. It's bad but at the end of it, people would rather not play or not train their stats/creatures than to take damage on their existing skills, even if the damage is negligible. They could overcome it they just didn't. Skilldamage as a penalty that gets applied when you have 1000 more losses than wins is a decently effective penalty, I can't say if it was necessary or the only option but it works. Otherwise most people will rather sit at a high number of losses to not have to worry about honor, that or sit in balance for the extra stats. When you get to know the fighting system well enough you will learn that it's not that difficult to remain in or near balance, at least far from skill damage, but it can also take a bit of work. Ivorak's arena system is an interesting proposition but I feel it's much more suitable to allow it anywhere, say if that mp3 wants a tour of the east from me while I help them train their creatures. I don't like the concept of forcing activity within a certain scene, it's like GGG without the player consent, they have to go there. "Heat capping lower MPs in too short a time span, due to Heat Dumps Heat Syphons that shoot the Young Blood into such negative Value Points they cant train or recruit." To be honest, this is an issue really only to mp3s who want to stay at mp3, once you go mp4 you have the option to forever stay there and train if you like without the worry o f heat. The mind power levels were meant to be progressed through and I know some choose not to but that is a realm of its own (think twinks in world of warcraft, I'm sure other games have this). "A clickie to reset all Vp to a static 1000" This is reasonable if you ask me.

Cross Mind Power Theory
I will make my opinion very clear: Allow fighting across mind power levels

so why do we have mp's at all?
I am complaining that we cannot attack across mind power levels anymore this is just silly how am I supposed to even out MRF's profile while helping all these new mp3s and mp4s get wins and losses when I am mp5?

Drachorn Haven
No I am saying without sacrificing them, how can we make sure they can roam the land without having to battle against others in your cruel rituals all the time. Drachorns just want to relax
-
Drachorn Haven
I have often given my drachorns to others (who I thought would be good owners) but without sacrificing them I fear there is no assurance they will be set free and able to roam the lands without the constant distress created by being used in creature battles. I hope your cause will be the one to change that, Draconas.

Requesting gateway pebble
I have repeatedly asked them to talk to the people in chat in those scenes when they ask for help, but I will also attempt to answer questions when they are asked to me. Please try to be more gracious, even if Fang is being inept. The newbie in question was stuck in a scene they should not have been able to get to yet, no way to exit and nothing to do. It is obvious we needed someone who can fix that to help them..

so why do we have mp's at all?
personally so far I love the changes, except maybe a minor detail or two like it seems much more difficult to lose heat now but being able to attack cross mindpower level is great and it helps being able to train with these new mp3s... Being able to have more fair and balanced combat (no huge token/stat discrepancy) is very fun at the moment and I'm only losing to people with more/better crits (usually drachs/snowmen in a rit) and I would like to experience it in more detail I understand likely a large amount of players do not like how it is now, I can agree, it's not perfect. But I think some things can be kept and that this was a good direction

It is quite suiting that the mp7s be among the island to help with the new players in their training.

Guardian of Tools
Apologies for the delays, I would like to know of anyone who has interest in the roles as described by the original post in this topic. The current tool locations that need a guardian are shown in the table below being the Golemus Lab, Wind's Sanctuary, MDA Bathroom and the Tea Market. All applications are welcome, and since it has been a while I would ask anyone to reapply now following the guidelines in the original post, state the co-ordinates you are applying for, your playername and " .write 1-2 rows , not 0-1 not 2-8 etc, but 1,2 rows about why you want the role or what makes you deserve it, or ANYTHING that might convince me to give it to you, even active days but no role yet is a good reason, i will read all, but if you fail to write as much as requested your application will be ignored. (This was 1-2 rows) " Thank you for your rather spammy interest in becoming number 1 Fang. Honor points at MP3
Back when I started creatures weren't restricted by mind power level and it was rather interesting to level them up. At some point that was changed, and now there are quite a few creatures that remain rather basic at mp3, I'm not sure if this is good for the diversity or integrity of the combat system or whether it helps mp3s understand it. "could you implement some training in rituals or explanations as part of the starter island if there is no such thing yet?(to maybe even let them experiment "in a safe environment)" " would it be easier if you just gave them a certain amount of honor to start with?" " The only band-aid fix I see would be NPC training dummies set up" Training dummies are sort of like the aramors and tiny men but those can be difficult to beat (or even find) at mp3. An option could be to implement something easy to defeat on the starter island that they could gain honor from. I have a tablet (kindlefire) that runs MD fine but it was compatible with flash and as far as I'm aware tablets aren't made with flash compatibility anymore. A way to make MD run better on phones and tablets would be great. Extra accessibility to the game is always nice.

Thanks for coding (among other things) for this awesome game.

Triforce!
I would be left with wisdom for greatest effect, power close second but outshined and devalued by my own principles, not that I'm the best for any of these three. In my opinion Fang Archbane inherits the courage as I see him try often against severe odds, continuously defeated to still continue and persevere once more. And as such Dst encompasses power for sheer effectiveness in enacting change within the realm time and time again whether liked or hated. I may leave out old/inactive vets in my choices, but they aren't so eligible because of that.

Opinions on item interface
With the new "Favourite" link there is a lot of red links to be seen, perhaps if the "upload picture" link was only available through the "Full Details" page it would be easier on the eyes.

Encountering threats (tutorial shades)
After having spent over 2 and a half years not defeating the tutorial shades at mp5, I would like to document a few of the effects of leaving them around. This means to not finish the tutorial in its current state. To start, the tutorial shades are the NPCs you encounter on your way back from the Aramory to the Path of Loneliness while following your scroll's directions, as part of the tutorial for the game. They initially appear at the Old Man's Road to block your progress north, and continue to show up at the House of Liquid Dust and finally the Fields of Abandonment. Defeating the last shade "Road Shade" initiates story mode and sets you on the path to completing the tutorial. Refraining from doing so will keep you from removing certain limitations your account endures while beginning the game or upgrading mind powers. There are two main limitations I have noticed that I will now describe. You will not get to pick your next principle. For instance, going from mp4 to mp5 will leave you at x/5 (x being the number of previously selected principles, 5 being your current mind power) so someone who has 4 principles will be Mind Power 4/5 until they finish the tutorial and select a fifth principle, becoming Mind Power 5/5. You could also be MP 2/4 or MP 0/5 for example, but you will not be able to pick the max amount of principles available to your mind power until you finish the tutorial (this might not be the case for mind powers other than 3, 4 and 5, as other mind power levels can have some interesting implications). This seems to suggest a degree of partiality in your character until you deal with the shades and finish the tutorial. You will be very limited on where you can move to without aid. You can still access locations but you will need to do so through other means than using arrows and clickies (as they will not show up), such as being ported or pulled by leash. The restricted locations are a bit variable and I will describe the factors that will be limiting you, as follows (warning, potential spoilers): - Clearing out all the shades until the Fields of Abandonment will allow you to walk freely from that scene to anywhere south of it, but you cannot move north until finishing the tutorial. Accessing the mainlands from here will normally require going through Golemus and the Labyrinth. - At the Gazebo of Equilibrium you can not move south, as well as at the Path of Loneliness you can not move north (since the bull will remain there). This combined with the above point makes scenes from the Paper Cabin through to the Path of Loneliness (and in some relation Necrovion) almost entirely inaccessible. You also can not move east to Berserker’s Way. - The statue at the Marble Dale Park will not be there until you finish the puzzle, at which point it will appear then disappear when interacted with, allowing you to go underground. In its place will be a cover keeping you from going underground. An effect of finishing this puzzle before finishing the tutorial is that after finishing the tutorial the statue will reappear, and disappear when interacted with while not having to resolve the puzzle. - The guards to Willow's Shop will not appear. This will keep you from being able to enter the shop. - The guards to Loreroot will not appear. This keeps you from being able to enter or exit Loreroot through the front entrance. - The slime at the Meeting of the Roads will not appear. This will keep you from walking south from that scene to the Fenth's Press. Other implications of not finishing the tutorial may include fewer tools/resources and creatures available to you without spending wishpoints or obtaining pass papers or ports, as well as fewer item collecting locations and armor/weapons available and less possible token principle combinations. So asides from being able to sit and have a chat with a shade, a privilege not often obtained, refraining from defeating the tutorial shades comes with two main limitations being fewer principles and less accessible locations. Many might find this a very unattractive scenario to be in, but personally I quite liked it. Limiting myself in such a way was nice, to see how my behaviors in the realm had to change and adapt, and I still somewhat regret dealing with the last shade although doing so frees me to fulfill other responsibilities. Perhaps a question to be asked is... Since defeating the tutorial shades frees us so much, what do we have to gain (or lose) from defeating the shades in Necrovion? ... I for one, would like to find out (I know this isn't perfect evidence of my 2 and a half years at MP 5 and not finishing the tutorial, but it's the best I have screenshot wise. It's 3 pictures put together for slightly easier viewing, not having to link 3 images)

Event: Day of Necessity/Newbie Focus
I will be hosting the first Newbie Focus day on September 25th, anyone who wants to participate can meet us in the Paper Cabin or throughout the realm as the day goes on. I am particularly looking for individuals who would be willing to provide tours of their lands and anyone who has simple quests they can give to younger players, PM me if you would be willing to provide such (even if not for this event). We will be emphasizing activity around the realm and hoping to provide targets for newer players to train on and interesting players for them to meet.
