" "Undefined entity commonly reffered to as a Shade. Usually being a Fragment of a Larger Cluster " So if shades are part of a whole what would that mean about why they don't move around? Where does war fit in to the difference between aramors and shades? Historically (in the AL) Golemus and Necrovion were at war and for a long time now that doesn't seem to be the case .

You could have two different velocities for the objects so that they never collide.

Maybe plus votes and general praise? So in this case.... It moves around but it has mostly chosen the shrine as its home. Is there a reason for that specifically? If it moved elsewhere... Where?

Does the egg move of its own will?

Research clues should not be shared publicly. Let's try to keep in mind " Shades rule the obscure side of this world, ballancing for all that is oposing them." Balancing is not the same as "Mirroring" someone mirroring my actions would be, depending how you define mirror, either doing exactly what I do, or doing an inverse of what I do. Balancing something is not as simple as inverting the actions of what you're trying to balance, it requires that you have knowledge of the system as a whole and act in a way that preserves the integrity of the system when such actions that you are balancing is disrupting that integrity.

This month's contest has ended and Ledah has won after returning 3 heads! Congrats Ledah. The point totals for this contest was as follows: Ledah - 216 Aia del Mana - 180 Fang Archbane - 108 Pipstickz - 108 I am changing the scoring process to hopefully emphasize a bit more activity (fighting) required to be able to win. Points per head given = 12, points per head returned = 24 (both down from 36). In light of this change and applying it to previous contests the overall point totals are as follows: Aia del Mana - 337 Ledah - 108 Fang Archbane - 72 Pipstickz - 72 Nepgear - 36 Signups for the next contest are welcome as always. I am going to reduce the amount of players required for the extra rewards to 5! That is, a wishpoint (one for mp3/mp4/mp5 upon reaching 5 signups) and a swordsman creature (to the first mindpower to hit 5 signups) to the winner of the contest. Two gold coins will be given to the winner of each mindpower level, unless there is 5 signups for a mindpower level in which case it will be given to second place. I will give an assortment of herbs to the winner of mp5.

In that case there should be little to worry about. I only take issue in the ability to at whim gain unattackable status, for example getting heads and instantly going mp6 to avoid losing them, and then being able to drop and gain heads again, repeat. I feel gaining mp6 legitimately would be ok, they may not be able to choose when exactly to ascend or drop and it would be difficult to use it to your advantage. To some degree there is an issue with Gateway Island inhabitants participating if they could also use the ability to warp back to Gateway, something nobody would be able to pursue, by the same logic these players would be requested to remain on the mainlands. Although I feel these players are somewhat unlikely to sign up and using that ability could be frowned upon. At any rate, we have 2 participants for mp5 currently. 4 more are needed for awesome rewards!

Ok, there will be a wishpoint offered for each mind power level 3, 4 and 5 in the event that they reach six participants, not just the first mind power level to do so. Limit once. Dead players are allowed to participate, reason being I am not going to disqualify a player who signs up alive and happens to be killed during the contest. Signing up dead is no different. While there is some advantages to being dead, there are also massive disadvantages to remaining dead, if one worries of losing to a dead player then perhaps they should take the precautions necessary to not lose. An mp7 may sign up as well, I will start an mp7 contest if there are three mp7s signing up. Otherwise it may be best for those mp7s to participate on mp5 instead. While there may be an advantage in that mp7s could take heads of a lower (or higher?) mindpower level, they may also be taken from. The only thing I feel could be an issue is players that can go mp6 at will, as mp6 is unattackable by other mindpower levels normally. In that case I would hope (or even require) such players, if willing to participate, would stay mp5 for the duration of the contest, or mp6 if there were an mp6 contest. Remember, heads contest is unfair

Lashtal is going to sponsor a Swordsman creature! This will be given to the winner of the first mind power level to reach 6 participants. In the event we do get 6 players to sign up I am going to put the 2 gold reward as the second place prize for that MP level. Assuming (as it is most likely) mp5 meets that requirement then the rewards will look like this: MP5: 1st place - Wishpoint, Swordsman and an assortment of herbs 2nd place - 2 gold coins MP4: 1st place - 2 gold coins MP3: 1st place - 2 gold coins I can now spawn the heads onto players to start the contest, so being there on the 12th is no longer required. Being there on the 24th is still required to turn in the heads to me as it is part of the scoring process and shows you definitively chose to use those heads as part of your score. I will attempt to be around at the GoE all day long on the 24th so you can return the heads to me at your leisure. Further details about the contest in the original post.

The next contest starts in about a week from now. Signups are welcome as always and 3 are needed to start the contest for a specific mindpower level. The rewards this time around are 2 gold to the winner of each MP level along with the head count reward. The first MP level to reach 6 signups will be eligible for the wishpoint for first place. I will also give an assortment of herbs to the winner for mp5.

It was closed today. Can't really tell on retention rates, probably little (slightly positive, few more stuck around for at least a little while) to no difference, but it helped us answer their questions about the game

After the first round the current point totals are as follows: Aia del Mana - 325 Fang Archbane - 108 Nepgear - 108 Pipstickz - 108 Aia del Mana managed to win by returning 10 heads to me, which was 1 more than I gave out in the round! Congrats Aia.

This contest is ending in a few hours, on the 24th. I will be at the Gazebo of Equilibrium or very closeby (hopefully) the whole day in order to allow players to return the heads to me. This can be done with the simple chat command *gives all heads to Mallos* while you are in the scene with me. Make sure to provide me with proof of you returning the heads and the amount, or I may not be able to tell who gave me what and thus you won't get any points. I will, after the contest has concluded, return any winnings of heads to the players who return them to me (detailed in my first posts rewards section).

Clicking the "Game intro" toplink just gives this error message, I believe it used to link to the paper cabin introductory sequence or otherwise our scroll in the left bar but since the ongoing quests are now placed in that section instead it seems to be causing this error, making the link rather useless.

The contest has started! Good luck to our contestants and anyone who wishes to steal from them. It should be noted that I will not be attacking any player who holds heads until the contest is over vs vs

Need a better way to organise all the things to do

Sounds like you need a SecretAry -
We should know by now that dst prefers to take things public than to pms when it comes to drama like this. Yes, common sense is, unfortunately, not so common. It varies from person to person and place to place and you can probably only expect the average half of the population to have any of it, which means below that and the people wont have any, above and they probably wont need it. My idea of common sense for this topic is to pm the person who my card didn't reach and ask them why it got returned, this way we can reach a conclusion. Somewhat of the opposite happened here. I see three possible points in this situation: 1. Dst sent the card, Nava gave the wrong address purposefully. Then Nava is mean and shouldn't have done that. 2. Dst sent the card, Nava gave the wrong address accidentally. Then Dst is being rude in this topic. 3. Dst didn't send the card. I doubt this one.

I'm sure all mp levels would like to take part in this contest if there was enough participants @Aia del Mana

Yes Blackshade Rider is going to sponsor a wishpoint! The winner from the first MP level to get 6 participants will be rewarded the WP. I should mention that you do not have to sign up to participate in this contest, only return heads at the end, but signing up is required to start the contest and for heads to be distributed (plus you get extra points so it is advised).

Hello, I will be attempting to run a Heads Contest each month starting on the first (12th) day of tranquility and ending on the second (24th) day of tranquility. All participants must apply here in this thread by stating your playername, ID and mind power level. After doing so, if there is at least 3 players in your mp level, the contest will start for that mp level on the first (12) day of tranquility and all participants will be given an amount of heads. These heads must be returned on the second (24th) day of tranquility of that month. How to turn in your heads for the contest: Basically come find me at the GoE throughout the day. Returning: Come to the Gazebo of Equilibrium or nearby scenes on the second (24th) day of tranquility and attempt to find me and deliver the heads to me. I will attempt to remain online (or idle) throughout that day to accommodate those who wish to return the heads to me. In the event that I am absent that day for any reason then a screenshot showing how many heads you held will be sufficient proof as returned heads. If this occurs I will announce it after the contest, otherwise do find me. Anyone can return heads for points regardless of signup. You can return the heads to me by typing the chat command *gives # heads to Mallos* while in the same scene as me. You must be able to show you returned the heads to me, detailed below. When the contest ends send me a pm here on the forum with screenshots showing me a few things: 1. Server time 2. Heads count returned in the form of a chat message or onscreen prompt showing how many heads were given (try to give in specific numbers instead of all) 3. Triggers box with your name or ID triggering a burst, while showing you were in possession of heads at the time (bonus part of scoring process, must be done on separate days and only 3 per contest) Please refrain from any doctoring of the photo beyond cropping certain areas to show the required information, all screenshots can be posted either here on this thread or preferably by pm to me. Example- Scoring: Essentially the more heads you return the better, and showing that you trigger a burst during the contest will earn bonus points up to 3 times each contest. Signing up gives a bonus to your score. 12 points for each head given initially 24 points for each head returned (anyone can return heads) 1 point for each excessive head returned (heads beyond the total given out in the round; generated) Burst combos give 36 points (3 per contest, must be done on separate days, submit screenshot showing date/burst in triggers/heads count, 0 heads doesn't count for points) = up to 108 points Rewards: For each contest the winner keeps 36% of heads returned by them in that round (rounding up) - everyone else returning heads keeps 1 Extra rewards to be specified in further posts. Good luck and if there are any questions/concerns/comments/suggestions/etc I can answer them here as I keep this contest updated.

Lone Wolf hasn't played in a few years it seems Although I saw them online during xmas. If you want a true mentor perhaps find an older player from a land that you like, there's at least a few from each land if you look hard enough. If you just want to be an adept of someone try adepting Fang Archbane he is trying to go mp6 currently. If you want to worship someone try MaGoHi, Chewett, or Syrian
