Amoran, there was a discussion in the other thread regarding previous years winners being allowed to be nominated. As far as I recall you did not speak up there - if you had issues with people winning again you should have mentioned there, as that was originally how it was going to be until several members of the community objected to this limitation. Like last year, there will be a feedback thread after the awards are concluded for this year - please make any comments about alterations to the process there, the restriction on in-land nominations holds for this year. You believe incorrectly, Amoran. It was not my waiting on more nominations, I had forgotten how busy I was going to be this past series of days when I set the schedule up. Dates will be appropriately shifted when voting starts.

An HQ would be in Tribs, cos the alliance's land is the Tribs....yes there's the high AP etc, but still Tribs would make the most sense. Not that I'm certain they need one. As for getting there whilst not using the summon spell - we have two options that occur to me in about 5 seconds without really thinking about it; - The public meeting jump link (a variant of), Mur used it at Beserker's Charge, pretty sure it would be able to be adapted for another purpose relating to TK's - GoE code (as someone mentioned), though either the code needs to be in a place everyone can see it to use it, or sent out by TK's to people who need to collect things, the code possibly being changed "regularly". But that's only if they should get an HQ. Seig, you say you won't abuse it, fine, you might not (probably won't), but I could probably name 3 or 4 people in MD history that have also said (quite genuinely) they wouldn't abuse this or that, and then down the line did exactly that - so I hope you forgive any apprehension I may have to it. The ~only~ reason I see for TKs and other players to have to meet in person, is for coin transfer. Coins can't be done via ITC unless you're extremely patient, all other forms of reward I believe have some form of transfer code? - Correct me if I'm wrong there. Does this warrant the necessity of an HQ or certain spells? I believe not, personally. I'm not saying that people might want to meet in person, only if there's a need for it.

When you say you "prefer" apparently you mean any other communication you just reply with the email address. It does not make my life easier, in any way, to email you when I can PM you in game (for info I've been trying to find out when he's online so I can collect some coins as reward for something). I ~refuse~ to email the TK account, it delays matters my end because I don't often check the account I'd be emailing from, and I won't email you from an account I check more regularly. Does this refusal mean that I don't deserve rewards? Because it sounds rather like there's no other way to get them.

After it was noted to me Guillak's land affiliation, I have removed Princess Katt's nomination of him for Role-Player award, as they belong to the same land. I removed others as well, but this is the only one that resulted in a name being removed from a list.

There's a few scripts on clickables which can verify a creatures age through CTC-MDC (used to be one on MDP sign and another on one of the GoE steps, not sure if they're still there or not).

Don;t quote me on this, but pretty sure you can't activate a memory stone with a spell that you already have - I seem to remember trying a while back. Not sure if that's a bug or whathaveyou, but yea.

That's pretty much what I said, but in nicer wording, you realise that, right? I have no intention to do anything that is protested to ~before~ it goes underway. Next year I will state how it was done this year, ask if people would like it changed, and suggest changes myself for review by the public. No changes would be made without airing to the public first.

I question that if nobody from other lands think enough to nominate them are they truly deserving to be? (I'm not saying they aren't, just that I'd question it). There are 4 days left of nominating, plenty of time for people from other lands to nominate those you suggested. The decision was made based on the response from last years awards, and that no objection was raised to it before nominations went live.

Princ, it is not compulsory to vote for all the categories, if you disliked player D, but couldn't vote for A B or C, you would not have to vote for D, you would just move onto the next category. Tarq, as for per player, rather than account, last year accounts were checked if they were alts, and if they proved to be their votes were excluded from the count. I currently see no consensus on the matter of voting for those of your own land, please continue this discussion. Is there any objection to Mur and Ren not being nominated? Should Innocence be an eligible nomination? - They won an award last year and rejected it, giving it back to me.

Every valid nomination above this post has been added (I don't view Zori Ca's post as nominating) Awiiya is correct about Ren and Mur (though I forgot to specifically put it in this thread) and Princ is correct in his pointing out about Awiiya and dst not being eligible. Princ, point me at any post that mentions a complaint about same lands nominating each other. Voting is under debate, that I noted, nomination never was. As for listing eligible people for Rookie award, I'm afraid that's something you'd have to do amongst yourself, as Zori appears to have done something for.

Sorted. Happens if someone stretches chat by using a continuous stream of letters, which then pushes the rest of the interface to the right. A simple fix (that I just did there) is to wipe the affecting line from chat with lots of single .'s or such - "talk" it 14 times to clear chat entirely. This does only affect certain browsers, others are a little more clever and automatically fix it by breaking the problem line onto multiple ones, rather than stretching the screen. Kinda should be sorted out, but, yeah, one of those things.
