This is just a small post to thank everyone that made MD birthday special. Its always an event that surprises me, and this is what i love about MD. People come forward and offer their free time to run quests, events and a variety of fun. This is a big thank you to everyone that helped do something on the birthday. Thanks Mur, council, BFH, Siegheart, all the DoM Guardiens and everyone else who i missed! Sorry i cant list you all, but i didnt actually see anything of the MD Birthdue due to work and being at an event on the weekend. Thank you for giving up some of your time to give something back to the MD Community. To all those complaining about people not being around for some event you want to do, you are ungrateful idiots. These people devote their free time to help MD, and you are complaining about this. You really show your true colours. Im always impressed by the show of effort, and although i didnt see it, i hear good things. You guys are great! Thank you to everyone that helped, we owe you one.

you should direct your complaints to those who made said quest. I raised an issue to Rheagar, creator of "Tutorial Campaign", who said his quest was not meant to be done in an afternoon, and more of a recurring thing. Something that required a participent to come back to later, when they could.

I was considering a different wiki. However i have reached a solution. I asked for a new namespace to be created. This means it wont interfere with Random. But it also means it wont appear in the default search. So to search announcements you will need to search specifically for "announcements" I shall start uploading them when i get some free time, to format all the data more infomation will be posted once we have started work on this project

Currently i see no way to edit how random article works. It works by selecting one content page. And currenty all pages in the default namespace are content. Meaning that i cannot edit it. By requesting a custom namespace that is not content, it removes it from search. Im not writing some magic software, the wiki uses the mediawiki format and therefore i cannot edit much of it.

It can be done easily, and the only long thing will be the tagging, which iv already done most of it, and can "probably" use my wookie magic to tag the nesscary announcements. The only thing is that its going to be 2000+ pages on the wiki, random page button will prettymuch always go to an announcement. But, it will mean we can more easily link to announcements, and have some sort of "summary" text, to make it clear what its actually saying (since some are quite cryptic)

My announcements project is currently stopped while im working on other more tedius MD projects, but i wondered if MD would give some feedback. If you dont know, i also run the [url="http://magicduel.wikia.com"]Wikia page[/url] and have been recently attacking it with edits again. The original idea was to put them on the wikia, i have some wookie magic to do this, this would mean they are easily searchable and such. But, since there are so many announcements, and so few wiki pages (around 300) it would mean that the majority of the wiki would be announcements. And the Random button would actually nearly always take you to an announcement. Do you think this matters? Would you like announcements to be easily searchable, in categories and have a summary by them, including infomation such as stating if such announcements are now obselete? Please comment and vote (the poll is a tad stupid, comments are more helpful to me. Thanks!)

Job? Oh no MD is not organised... Rendril and Mur code MD, thusly they come along and fix stuff. That is, when they arent busy doing a million other things they do for MD But Rendril should NOT be directly contacted about coding stuff, if you didnt see the announcement.

ideally each link would be catagorized as to how the vote regenerates, because some of them are you wait 24 hours, and others (if i remember) activate once a "day" meaning you could wait 2 hours into the new "day" and vote again. Displaying details such as when you can vote next would aid this.

But thats much more mechnical, prearranged and much less "human/personal" MD is just a bit different, Mur much prefers personal contact over nameless mechanics and machines that automatically do things. Its much more human having someone who deals with jailing and such.

Land loyalty and treasuries are done no? From the sounds of it, all the other stuff is "future" planned, but the concepts are implemented, treasuries work (sieg has one) and some items have land loyaty
