2. Not a new thing. (I think) This happens because whenever you get attacked, the game sends a signal to the attack icon and tells it to light up. When you're idle, it can't do this, so it stores it. When you get attacked, say, five times, the give you one lit up attack icon for each attack, but since, like messages, it only shows the latest one, you see the same one again and again. Simple solution: Log out instead of idling, or deal with it, because it's not a huge issue.
3. A long, long time ago, Mur told me something about alts. It was when he still...you know, talked to people on a regular basis, n' stuff. I told him that my friend had made his alt an adept of his, and I was all serious about it and everything, but he explained the difference between game rules and society rules. Society rules are made by us, and they're usually enforced by us. This would be things such as the silence spell, regen rits at lower MP levels or even MP5, training grounds, and stuff like that. Game rules are handled by Mur, and whoever else he chooses to help him. This is things like bug abuse, big alt abuse, WP problems, and those kinds of things. Alt abuse is on a threshold between the two, I think. Many people will say things like "I'll wait for Mur to tell me that it's alt abuse", but they should realize that Mur has better things to do, and shouldn't have to resolve our arguments. However, there are issues such as MRI and CrazyMike, or Lightsage with his heads contest fiasco, that only Mur COULD deal with. I would also like to reference something Akasha said once, because it will probably come up. The conversation was about the Libs, and how they were used so Liberty could become MP6. Akasha said that the Libs were part of Liberty's role, and since that role was taken by Liberty, nobody else can do it. While I disagree with the logic, Akasha's word is basically official. So, sure, if one or two of your alts are your adepts while nobody's looking, then feel free, but if you get caught, then, with the Kings' ability to jail citizens and Grido for everybody else, you may end up worse off because of it. Right, I should mention, your friend's alts are still alts.
4. I believe that they would be around 410 age, probably a couple less. (day 192)
5. For one, the two "rules" that you mentioned are not rules, but restrictions put in place by Mur to prevent abuse. The only rule that I believe this COULD break is alt abuse, but that's doubtful, considering that the owner of the accounts makes nearly no profit, other than accessing a feature from the MDShop that I imagine will be used for Fyrd's Road Rally, because that's what the accounts are for, according to him. Fyrd: Why don't you just use free credits to get the features?
6. They're both sold, read the first post >>
7. I agree with Blackwood; Why would the contest restrict you if you're not part of it anymore?
8. http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/topic/1394-portuguese-translation/ Not sure if it was ever finished or not.
9. Happy birthday, you stinky Cabin-dweller! Err...I mean, happy birthday, Grido!
10. Have you tested it again to be sure? Are you sure that you didn't just miscount your losses?
11. Fighting knowledge > stats Don't you think Mur considered these sort of things when designing the fighting system? I mean really, give him some credit.

Old Games!

Both of the (English) Fire Emblem games for Gameboy Any older Zelda game Doom Goldeneye and The World is not Enough (007) Banjo Kazooie Paper Mario Half Life That old Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy text adventure game that I'm horrible at Donkey Kong 64 Mario Party Yoshi's Island There are some I'm forgetting about, but that's what I can remember for now >> Oh, also the old SNES Donkey Kong games...forgot about those
13. This topic is ridiculous. Do we really need Mur to solve the problem? This is alt abuse, because without alts, you wouldn't have your items and coins. If you had just kept quiet, you could've avoided some of the consequences, but because you just had to see if you were in the right, you've gotten yourself into more trouble. I suggest that we all stop this pointless arguing and just close the topic, as it's clear how the community feels (16 to 7 with a couple who clicked the wrong button.)
14. I don't see why people fuss so much over the name of things. Changing the name, though a simple thing, just creates confusion. So what if it continues to be called the Sparring Grounds? Just because you thought of the name, doesn't mean only you and your adaptation of the dojo can use it. It doesn't matter if it's called Sparring Grounds, or Dojo, or Mars, or whatever. What matters is what is done there, and how it's handled, and so far I'm not seeing anything from you, SS, that relates to that, because you don't even know HOW Rhaegar will handle it, as he hasn't even started yet.
15. It seems quite logical that he would pick his old position up now that he has more time, does it not? If you want to do something, but you have other things that are more important, and then those other things are eliminated from your schedule, would you not go back to that thing you wanted to do before?
16. Yrth, you can beat me (sometimes), and I usually stay relatively balanced (~400 difference), and as Chewett said, sanctuaries and logging out when you're not playing help quite a bit if you don't want losses, though you should know that already. Other than that, a defense that wins even just 10% of the time and regular attacks on people who are weaker than you will get you back in balance quite easily. If you don't want to attack weaker people, then don't complain about it being too hard to balance, because that's how it is.
17. SS, you abandoned the Sparring Grounds. Unless you have something that you and ONLY you can offer for the Sparring Grounds, then it simply does not need you. You obviously have either no desire or lack the ability to have anything to do with it. You supported it when you took it over and reshaped it, and now that somebody else is doing the same thing, you oppose it, just because you haven't seen or heard anything about it prior to this topic? I'm sorry, but that is ridiculous. From what I see, Rhaegar isn't even changing it very much, he's only stepping in to enforce it better. I suggest you either state the reasons you oppose this clearly, or stop whining about it.

19. I got something like that as well, but I just ignored it >>
20. I don't use my angiens much anymore and I can stay on top of things.
21. Not to mention the fact that only you know how and why you think what you think, and the rest of us can just guess, using fancy words :/ PS: Also the fact that you spend more time on other alts than you do on mcvitie makes it quite a bit more complicated.
22. I believe this has been suggested before. I'll search for the topic >> Here's one, there may be others: http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/topic/5743-new-wish-shop-item-balance-profile/
23. Alt abuse is usually defined as obtaining something you couldn't get if you didn't have alts. Say Account1 makes Account2. The player votes for free credits every day on both of them, and then buys coin items from the MDShop, and transfers all of the coins to Account1. The player has effectively doubled their funds. This is alt abuse, because without the extra account voting, Account1 wouldn't have double the coins. Say Account2 has a rare creature that it got as a gift, and sells it for a bunch of silver, then gives it all to the main. It's the same thing as above. If Account1 gives Account2 a creature, and then decides to sell the creature instead of using it, and has the buyer give the silver to Account1, it is still alt abuse, but not as bad, in my opinion, but it is still basically using Account2 as creature storage. Yey for examples. PS: If you think talking about creatures is off-topic, then imagine a similar situation with items instead. Horray.
