Dst has explained it well to you. As a man with affinity for research, it should be clear to you why we in Marind Bell value individuality and respect choices of others, not seeking to impose our own. Maebius' decision is a... Shady one. It had its consequences, because he isolated himself from the decisioning factor (on his own) of Marind Bell. But can we say he is a stranger to Marind Bell...? Heretic Archer is a creature from our homeland, ponder upon that. If you're so keen to strike, then strike. A conflict between Necrovion and Marind Bell is natural after all.

I agree with Soothing Sands. Some of these new unsuspected features really thrilled me, like public profile pages becoming impossible to hide anymore, but this one, although at first interesting, is I think a step in the wrong direction - or at the very list, in the opposite direction of where we were heading so far. The general philosophy of things not being served on a plate in MD is being contradicted with this list. Locate spell starts to lose its purpose, communication and overseeing everything becomes very easy... It takes away some flavor from our realm simply said. :) Didn't add anything new to what Soothing already said but wanted to say it anyway.

Lot of the technicalities were already mentioned here, looking at the original torch competition (before Bob the tree's capitol introduction) it was very interesting, but it lacked reward system which made it pointless, and the scoring was very nontransparent and confusing. It was mentioned 'radar' feature will be implemented for the participants, so every player holding a torch will have his current location known by other people. That sounds pretty neat. I suggest at keeping it relatively simple like was the case at the start of it, rather than introducing many features that will just spam it. I'm not sure what is this illusion feature you guys are mentioning (in the other torch topic) that was planned to be implemented, it's making me uneasy. x)

Yes, I remember the topic, but this one has a different purpose: rather than brainstorming upon Torch's details, this topic wishes to rally support and receive green light from the admins for the Torch. Ideally, Torch would get a support and the admins would announce something along: "We hear you and wish to bring the competition back to life. We need to be carefull about X, X and X, yet we wish that this competition fulfills Y, Y and Y. After a public discussion on forums, for us to see community's opinion on how should this precisely work, we will implement it again."

There are too few of us, or at the very least, most of us are not doing anything particular. Let's build something happenings will revolve around. Torch competition with rewards system implemented (and not for them to stay on hold for years like the last time!) and simple mechanism for everyone to be able to give their part is one of the answers. It will stimulate mainland activity, people will start working together and will appreciate their lands more, this all stimulates realm's life itself. Perhaps Torch is not a fitting manifestation for the realm to revolve around in Mur's head, but we have been passive for several years. Let's change that. Who's with me? :P

Vice champion Lashtal had an interesting journey of his own. His group had some unpredictable fights. One included 5-round match of Lashtal against John Constantine. He won against MRAlyon in the semi finals: [log=Lashtal vs MRAlyon (Alyon's screenshots)] [/log]

And the winner is... Clock Master! Former leader of the Knights of the Bell and its Knight Commander, Clock Master represented Marind Bell through his champion journey, meeting Lashtal of Necrovion in the tourney finale. If there is interest from No one and MRAlyon - yes, but it will not the trigger "3rd place reward" donated by the TKs because there weren't 16 participants. I can come up with something symbolic from my stash though.

Thanks for the kind words :) The second pair organized themselves fast, and Lashtal swam out as the winner. :) We are now waiting for the second finalist to earn the passage. Once the fights are over, I'll share few screenshots thanks to considerate participants.
