My opinion:
[2010-02-02 22:24:25 - Alpha 9] King of Necrovion Peace, Queen of Necrovion, steps down from her throne and chooses Jester as her follower. Because Necrovion is a dynasty, Jester can be selected to rule the land by its current leader, without other elections. I, Mur, accept Jester as King of Necrovion and invest him with all the power and authority of this position. Thank you Peace for ruling this land so far, welcome King Jester. This is effective immediatly. Long Live The King!
As all of us can see, and as mentioned before by some players. Peace, from the Khalazad dynasty, voluntary ceded here throne to Jester. That means that Jester has full right as a King, and also, as stated in the announcements since Necrovion is a dynasty, only the King can choose a "successor." Apart from that, the only option would be official Necrovion's elections, but from what I have seen Necrovion's citizens are happy with Jester. Personally, I do like Jester's ruling style, and I think he is doing a great job. Moreover be a King is more than RP. It's a big responsibility and requires of some abilities. The question is do Rask have those abilities? Do Necrovion citizens want Rask as a King? BFH

Here is what it says until now: I am awesomeness and mighty like The Bunny Empire! But because there are no rules... This is lame, yet it holds no merit whatsoever like everyone who eats green cheese dans la toilette. and love bestialities too delicious to consider, though usually with slight persuation It would maim the incommensurably mopey noob, ban him and all others making fun of the sparkling "vampire" adding: "that lives in"
Well, everyone who has ever programmed a game or has had a talk with a game maker knows that lagg is an ugly creature to tackle... and now magic duel has it! Lately i have not been attacked by it but, on several ocasions i have been unable to logg on the rest of the day because it is so bad. Please man war stations, and attack this lagg!
There is already another topic for that: LAG TOPIC
I do like to help players, and that was not to sell them what-so ever, i was just wondering how much they would fetch if they were sold, simply for wonder.
The problem with the poll was the writing. You didn't wrote concrete ideas. They need more sense and more organization. Example of your poll, related to angiens, more organized. 1. Would you buy fresh, non tokened, angiens eggs? (If yes, how much would you pay for it?) a. No, I would not buy a fresh angien egg. b. Yes, I would pay 1 sc for it. c. Yes, I would pay 2 sc for it. d. Yes, I would pay 3 sc for it.
No more than 3 sc and no credits. You should now that nobody will pay more for angien eggs.
2. Would you like to buy an aged (250+ days), non tokened angiens? (If yes, how much would you pay for it?) a. No, I wouldn't buy an aged angien. b. Yes, I would buy it for 4 sc c. Yes, I would buy it for 5- 7 sc c. Yes, I would buy it for 8-10 sc d. Yes, I would pay more than 10 sc
I'm not including credits, but you could add a max of 5 credits for an aged angien.
A little recommendation: As Chewett and Tarquinus said, if you are unsure of something, please as to someone you trust (LHOs, vets). I'm sure they will help you and point you in the right direction BFH
That MD newspaper could be a great way to hook people in... if it were happening. Kyphis says another group is handling that besides Legend Speakers. BFH was pushing it for awhile. What is the status of that effort?
It is been worked, but will take time since it's a lot of work. SOON we will see another MDNP edition.
Newpapers are a sign of culture, if it is used in game via clickables, PMs or such, and if characters do it for in game reasons and not those out of character ones, it's bad when privileges come - they getting newspaper like special bar next to the announcement log one, getting ability to send everyone emails... that leads the project out of MD. When a project gets helped by Mur in any way, it loses it's "soul" of an RP event.
The MDNP email subscription is voluntary. Nobody force you to do that, so don't complain about that. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My opinion: MagicDuel gives equal opportunities to everyone (DIFFERENT TO OTHER GAMES). I think kings helps us instead of what you are pointing out. Kings sponsor our quests (letting our creativity and imagination raise). Their work is to keep their lands united, and in my opinion, they are doing it very well. Personally I had seen them helping many players (including me). Apart from mainlands we have other lands without kings. So if anyone want to create civilizations or cultures those lands are good options. There people's creativity and imagination are not "limited" by kings. BFH

Free credits: What are free credits? Free credits are a determined number of links, mostly where MagicDuel is registered and competes with other games for a top position. When you click that link, you are redirected to another page. In that page you need to vote for MagicDuel. This help both MagicDuel and you. How it helps MagicDuel? It serves as advertising (helps promoting) to the game. With your votes MagicDuel gets a position, attracting more players to the game. So basically the more votes, the more players. How it helps you? For every link you open the game gives you a boost of vital energy, value points and action point. Also it gives you from 1 to 2 cents of credits. What is the problem? People is just opening the links and NOT VOTING. That means that the system has been abused, because you get the boost, but MagicDuel is not getting your votes. Game first solution? Locking the votes for everyone. If the game don't receives your votes, why will it give you the boost? The lesson (my point of view): MUR WANT TO TEACH US A LESSON. IF YOU DON'T VOTE, NO MORE FREE CREDITS. It's up to us the players to make the Free Credits available again, bringing new ideas and solutions.
Id like to expand the calander, but i have little to no information on how to program, id like to write it about something i will not share because if I did then i would probably get the idea stolen :/
All the information you need to know is in the first post. It's not just writing about something. Is investigating ancient events from specific cultures in specific dates. Edit: Adding what the first topic says:
Posted 28 September 2010 - 11:51 PM As inquiries have been made about the completion of the MD calendar and a response given that it is now an open community project with potential incentive, I thought I'd start the thread for the work. I've personally been interested in the calendar for quite some time, so I'd really like to help with this if possible. Could the person who will be in charge for putting up the finished work once it's all completed PM me please? The announcement made was as follows: Quote As you probably noticed, the calendar for these few month does not exist yet. Any of you is welcome to help by providing interesting ("same style") info for each of the missing days till the end of the year. Its better to get organized before randomly preparing info, use the forum for that. Currently we have all month of the year till August (included), so September October November and December are to be made. There are rewards for those that will help to finish the calendar but if you are doing it just for the reward please don't join. So, the months missing are: •September •October •November •December Some of the cultures that are currently used on the calendar are: •Ancient Egyptian •Greek •Roman •Celtic •Islam •Ancient Persian •Aztec •Native American •Japanese •Significant events from the MD Adventure Log (If anyone remembers any others, please post them and I can add them to the list.) It seems that roughly about 3-4 different cultural 'events' are mentioned at most on any given day, written in a concise format. Renavoid mentioned in the mood panel that the calendar has already been finished, but it seems either the work was never received or simply not implemented. Whether that is used or new work used, I figure a thread to start doing something can't hurt! ≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠ ≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠ ≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠ ≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠ ≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠ ≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠≠ ≠ Ok, in an effort to streamline this, I'm going to propose the following: •Those wishing to contribute should pick a full week (seven days) to do at any given time. I will put up a list of dates for all the missing months so that they can be signed up for. •Choose at least two historic HOLIDAYS* prior to the year 1650AD for any given day, but no more than four for that day (three is an ideal number unless that day happens to be incredibly interesting for some reason). •Holiday summaries should be no longer than 130 characters each. •Each holiday entry for any given date should include a citation of where you got it from. This is just to make sure they're not coming out of thin air. •Completed weeks should be PM'd to me as in-line text. Please don't send me attachments. Here's a sample of what I'm looking for: Quote WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 1-7 Sept. 1: •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) Sept. 2: •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) Sept. 3: •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) Sept. 4: •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) Sept. 5: •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) Sept. 6: •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) Sept. 7: •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) •holiday name- holiday 140 character text here (citation here at end of individual entry) Dates Available for work (post which you'd like to do and I'll put your name next to it- Please submit one week before picking another one): SEPT 1-7 ==>Aysun (in progress) SEPT 8-15 SEPT 16-23 SEPT 24-30 OCT 1-7 ==>Zleiphneir (in progress) OCT 8-15 ==>Zleiphneir (in progress) OCT 16-23 ==>Zleiphneir (in progress) OCT 24-31 ==>Zleiphneir (in progress) NOV 1-7 ==>bfh lighthing (in progress) NOV 8-15 ==>Peace (in progress) NOV 16-23 NOV 24-30 DEC 1-7 DEC 8-15 DEC 16-23 DEC 24-31 RED = open for work BLACK = in progress GREY = completed >>>>READ ME: Generic lists of dates for one specific culture are ok. Otherwise, PLEASE only submit ONE WEEK AT A TIME and let me know what you're working on right before you start so that I can keep track of it- you have no idea if someone else also has a message sitting in my inbox asking for something that you've begun work on without letting me know. This is the only way it can stay organized. PLEASE stick to the script with this, otherwise it becomes a tangled mess. *just a note on the definition of 'holiday'- a traditional festival or traditional remembrance day that has become a feast day of some kind and has/had become an annual cultural norm for a given society. For example, The day athens survived against Sparta became an annual festival in greece, thus giving it long-term signifigance. However, the Battle of Torrence was just a battle- nothing is attached to it other than it happened and thusly shouldn't be used. If you have to wonder if it's worth using as a holiday for a given day, just pick something else less questionable.
BFH

I'm posting to make this clear to ALL players. Magic Duel has some restrictions that every player should follow. One of those restrictions says: You are not allowed to insult someone in his public logs, if you want to share a negative remark about that player you have to explain it in decent terms. Rules apply to all players and "IGNORANCE OF THE LAW IS NO EXCUSE." MD RESTRICTIONS

No More Torch Competition For Allianceless Mp3S And Mp4S
BFH replied to dst's topic in General Forum
I agree with DST . Torch should be restricted or at least limited to mp3 and mp4. Torch leads to Alt abuses at those stages. Not to mention that torch "spoilers". Note: With "limited I refer to an age restriction". BFH -
