Seigheart's Auction

Featured Replies

The council trusts everyone with a public role to do their job
correctly and well. Therefore, we trust Siegheart to not steal
creatures or use funds for his own personal gain. However, if anyone
feels there is any occurrence of wrong-doing then they are free to
contact us regarding it. Bear in mind when responding to this topic or
contacting us, as he has stated: His auction was conducted in an
unofficial capacity as a player of Magic Duel, not as head of the TKs.

If you wish to provide further evidence on this please email us, but
as it stands there will be no trial.

to the council.
This auction has nothing to do with his role as treasure keeper,
But by his disregard for keeping up his end of the bargain (Either distributing all the silver amongst the slaves, or spreading the silver among the poor and needy.) and instead choosing to keep it for himself to use as he see fit, while he said he wouldn't do it.

There will be no trial even though there is valid reason to hold one? I fail to see how his being a part of the TK has anything to do with the complaint.
There wont be a trial, with the current infomation. Seems pretty clear to me.

As for him being part of TK, Pip mentioned something about him abusing his role i think...

If you believe there should be a trial, then you should e-mail council with yourarguments. That's how i understand te coucil message. And yes, the original postas nothing to do with TK role. I don't understand why the council chosed to focus on that part ofthe discussion, but again: they left a door open to trial. Just e-mail them with argumentation and evidence... if you wish so.

There is sufficient complaint and reason here for a trial. Going off what has been read I do not possess or hold screen shotted and logged evidence and I wont gather it but to just state there will be no trial when there is valid reason to hold an investigation or trial just makes it look like a clossing of the ranks, though it has always been who you know here.

I find it interesting in what cases the Council takes interest.
The trial about the Slave Auction "misleading" (don't want to use word "sham") was denied because it had nothing to do with the "con artist's" official role, but they did start trial on well designed quest (Grail Quest) because the rules didn't say you can't win without actually competing...
I'm not judging the Council, I'm just bit surprised how they judge what "crime attempts" are...

It does seem like it's becoming more about who's complaining than the crime. I'm not sure about others, but my trust in the council in the integrity of the council has been shaken with the recent actions.

Seig is bribing council with the money from the auction? Wha? :)

But really, I think a trial should happen when there are sufficient complaints, not when there is sufficient evidence. The amount of facts should be analyzed after the trial starts, right? No harm done starting a trial, I believe.

Well technically under multiple complaints someone should be punished, but that rule has never really been carried out, as far as I can remember.

do not post email addresses freely on the forum!!!!!

I would like some clarification if possible: is this an actual court case or just an investigation? If it's a court case, who is suing? If it's an investigation, will information and evidence pertaining to it be made available to the public, or will we just see the results whenever it's finished?

This is how I see the master in action :

First : luring the pray
[sharedmedia=gallery:images:1856]

Fighting the reasons
[sharedmedia=gallery:images:1857]

Mockery on the fools
[sharedmedia=gallery:images:1858]

Hedge, how much did he paid ?

1. Seig sold his own leash
2. The sale of this leash was separate from the sale of the other ones and the auction as a whole
3. He decided the going price for his leash, and 100% of the coins went to him
4. He somehow decided that there should be terms of service and time limits

None of these things were available to the other participants of the auction. I'd certainly like to see you justify this, Seig. Wait, let me guess: "I'm more important than them"?

1. I had given my leash to the winner of my auction. Ledah. Don't know wtf you're talking about Pip. Kindly explain.
2. Again, part of the auction, just like everyone elses.
3. I didn't decide anything about my leash. Still don't know wtf you're talking about. My leash went to Ledah. The highest bidder in my auction.
4. If you go back and look in the thread, you will see the terms of service part of the slave trade.

So, before you start throwing all these stupid accusations around, do your gdmf homework. :)

Oh, and here is the page in the thread where the conditions were allowed:

I had also discussed the conditions with Ledah before hand. So, again. Stop posting all this "evidence" without know wtf you're talking about.

You're listed here for five silver, not four gold.

And in the topic that you started about two weeks later, the highest bid for your leash amounts to two gold, not four, so I am assuming you worked out the rest with Ledah privately, yet another option other participants did not have.

And no matter how you twist it, the fact remains that you allowed yourself more privileges than other slaves:

You detest dst, yet you employ the same tactic as she does: insult somebody until they get frustrated and do something stupid. I won't claim that I haven't done some stupid things, but it doesn't take a genius to see that you've unfairly favoured yourself over everybody else in this auction. I suggest you stop the juvenile name-calling and kindly get serious.

Second, I had simply copy and pasted the layout of the thread from the original one (Santa's Slave Auction). I simply missed one reference.

Yes, and what you said (leaving your simply missed reference aside) is....
The gold will be distributed amongst the slaves.

Also...

I never once stated I would use the money for myself either.

Neither you stated the faith of the gold may be yours to decide, oh and should i quote it one more time? ok what you stated is this...

Seigheart, I've been watching carefully, and it seems to me that in response to every complaint brought against you, you respond with cussing and something that amounts to, "I told you all what I was going to do in another forum board somewhere." Then you link to a forum board, which often doesn't include the aforementioned notification. Or it includes a line that goes directly against how you later acted.

I will pick two bones.

1. Stop cussing. It cheapens your language and makes you look like a poorly behaved brat. Fight with long words and complex insults, because then even if you end up saying what amounts to the same thing, you at least say it prettily. My advice: if you can't insult somewhat cleverly, you shouldn't be doing it all. It colors you as a tragically immature man who can't control his temper.

2. Lay out PRECISELY what you will do BEFORE someone finds issue with your actions. Read, reread, rereread, whatever it takes you to ensure that when you post it WILL be correct and no one can fault you later for what you said up front. Sound tedious? Don't like the scrutiny? If you answered yes to either of those, maybe you've chosen the wrong role.

If a Treasure Keeper seems dishonest, people stop investing, stop buying, stop trusting. You're only hurting yourself.
