NFTs created from the new api, in md, from bestiary creatures. You can find them also on opensea.io where you can view there rarity and such.
Currently there is no way for anyone to create such nfts, but this is just because nobody showed any interest in this feature.
I will cobtinue working on in-game interfwces for this, or i will just use them for personal transfers and rewards..depends only on your feedback

magicduel.com is not the official erc-20 (eth, polygon) address for md on the eth blockchain.
Magucduel.eth is also a valid ens domain name bound to the official address.
This is part of a series of experiments i do in the crypto direction

Yes, oh dear! New players need to interact with the community more! Such a problem! Making it so they're involved in talking to people right away! Oh no! Heheh.

Turning MD on its "Hee-haw!"
althout i like chews idea of new coders, burns idea of remake of combat, seighs idea of major changes, it all falls towards improving md into better game, but at cost of its soul, i am personally not here for game, i am for somethin of higher value that stretches beyond game itself ... and i dont expect any player who havent played before start of 10 to understand the above
The last account that I can remember having was registered in 2010. I remember being more active than the Active Days on it shows (Maybe I should get an alt check done on myself. Heh..) Nonetheless, I've stuck to Change. I both joined and stayed in MD for the feeling Liberty4life is describing. Didn't all of you vets get the feeling when you were new, even though you didn't know exactly what it meant? Now I still get that feeling, but it's quickly followed by the feeling of 'deadness', of 'lost potential'. I'm not sure what Mur's personal situation is right now. I did get the feeling that both how hard some things would be to code, and the fear of new features being regarded as 'something new with a cool backstory' but nothing more has held him back at times. I also remember hearing Mur say that he's not trying to speak to the majority through this 'game', but to the few who understand some of what he's saying, and want to know more. Sadly some people will see MD as 'just a game'. It is a mind game, but it isn't 'just' a mind game. Nonetheless, if Mur's listening and if it's possible, I'm sure some of us would love those aspects of magicduel to be developed even more, even if they might not be implemented perfectly at first. In game terms, magicduel is still, and will always be, in perpetual alpha, right? Well everyone should still treat it as such. Expect your whole world to be turned upside down! One of the biggest things that drawed me towards MD was the hint that skill, real skill, not skill that guides could easily be written for, not grinding, skill, determined success in fighting and all aspects of MD. In short, that MD would be one of the few, good, 'games', without any real grinding. Burns has asked that this be brought back by dealing with the ridiculous stats situation. Yes, there needs to be a way to pay back the grinders for all the hours spend grinding in a way which everyone will be happy. My point is, at least a few of us want more of the part of magicduel that makes it not 'just a game'. Therefore, I'd like everyone to understand that all of my suggestions come with the caveat that they need to be meaningfully implemented, and not just game features, at least as soon as possible. Yes, new shiny game features are nice, and perhaps some game features should be added. However any new game features being mostly just game features should be a temporary thing, and they should later be changed to have more meaning. Yes, you shouldn't take away what people have built, through grinding or otherwise. Follow the law of conservation of energy. “Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.” ― Albert Einstein Magicduel needs Change, Magicduel needs Death (though not necessarily of the obvious, player killing sort). Slow Death means slow Change. Wouldn't most of us beg our killers to 'Make it quick'?

Turning MD on its "Hee-haw!"
Turning MD on its like used to do. I like Seigheart's idea. Now Chewett's thread could serve the same purpose of proposing 'how', but I'd like to talk about how to turn MD on its cute donkey before giving a final answer. One of them is to increase the amount of Gazebo teleports, even to seemingly silly places, like the Paper Cabin. Apart from the obvious functionality of being able to jump to places, there's also the other functionality of being able to prevent people from jumping to certain places. If the Gate to the Paper Cabin is constantly kept open, then it would be difficult to use it to go other places. There'd have to be something to prevent it from being abused too much, but some of that functionality should be there. Another teleport could be a one way one from one Gazebo to the other. Obviously the code would only be available to certain people. The universe does tend to Chaos. You could quite easily make MD a kind of 'through the looking glass' kind of place by making a whole bunch of hidden teleports. As for coding, I'm not sure, but I don't think it'd be that difficult, if at all (if you use existing clickable items/existing pillars).
It could be made so that when you click on the gates, you're given a riddle or piece of trivia that has to do with the Archives. If you answer it correctly, then the AP cost for you getting in is reduced by a certain amount. If you get it wrong, you have to wait a certain amount of time before trying to answer another question.
I'd also like to see this, but not just for the Archives. It'd be great to see riddles or questions given for everyday activities. A new group of people could even be created, called the Riddlers (unless they already exist? I don't know!). I loved the player DNA thing. More 'survey' type things could be included in the realm, buried in hidden rabbit holes. I'd like to see MD chock full of riddles, tunnels, questions, quests, etc! Let's step through the Looking Glass people! Edit: In case anyone isn't clear, this is the topic created for Seigheart's proposal, so I mean it to be a place to discuss any crazy, yet plausible ideas of turning MD on its ass.

What would you do?
The universe tends to entropy. It's ever so easy to break a piece of glass, but it takes Heat and time to melt the broken glass and make new glass. Sound familiar? I do agree that there should be changes to the current situation though. (Aand for those who read this later, Zyrxae just reminded me of this. That totally ruins my nice metaphor. *goes off to think of it again*) My suggestion is to have some way to be 'reborn'. As in, you start MD over again, choose new principles, but you keep certain things from your past.
But then we'd never know the whole story.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. By this I meant I encourage people to post things that they know will get them neg repped, as opposed to posting censored things that don't show what they truly feel. I absolutely hate misunderstandings, and I find that quite a few of arguments end in people saying, 'Oooh! That's what you meant. I agree with you then!' There really needs to be a real life Fusioneers to collect the Heat from all of those arguments.

I have one, given by Maebius for his quest that tells of the virtues of waiting. The Dominion event didn't have to be left to the Dominion, if you know what I mean.
(Also I'm selfish and impatient, especially when playing MD at late morning hours from my home in America amidst the strife of college.)
I'm glad that you're honest. As a side note, all of the people who get negative reputation could easily change their posts so that they wouldn't get it. But then we'd never know the whole story. However, I don't think that impatience should be rewarded. Rather than asking other people to do things for you, why not propose a more permanent solution? For instance, it could be made so that when you click on the gates, you're given a riddle or piece of trivia that has to do with the Archives. If you answer it correctly, then the AP cost for you getting in is reduced by a certain amount. If you get it wrong, you have to wait a certain amount of time before trying to answer another question. Just one idea, there could be many more.

Death causes Change, yes. However, slow Death causes slow Change, and rapid death causes rapid Change. MD as a whole is not dying fast, but slowly. The Community Garden, a big change, was created from fast deaths. Sometimes you need to burn everything away with Heat, and rebuilt something from the ashes.
OTHERS WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO MEET AWIIYA, EVER, BECAUSE VISCOSITY AND UNDERUSED MDA GATES and this is terrible.
Ever? I think that's a tad bit of an overstatement. What was the viscosity there again? (+80?) I know it's now +0. I'm sorry, but 280 APs is nothing. I've gone in the gate to GG (without pass papers, and without any land loyalty), which requires more than double the APs, and I'm a mere 261 active days old. Magicduel is unlike most other games in that it requires patience. Now yes, there is something to be said against 'pointless waiting', however it's not pointless. Some places in the world (like North America) have people who are totally lacking in any amount of patience whatsoever. Mur should get a Nobel Prize for his community service in this area (half-joke).

Voting Decision by Council
I have been in some councils before, both rpg ones, and chat community ones. In all of them there was a "we know best" mentality, a "our decisions must not be questioned or else there will be chaos" mentality, and a "we must stay anonymous and 'professional'" mentality. I could of stayed, but I was tired of the opinion that someone like me was instantly more intelligent or in the right just because I got a position in a council. They also disliked how much I advocated for the transparancy of the community, and for everyone to get their opinion seriously considered. It's not even the people in the council's fault for this effect. I'm sure some of you have heard about the Zimbardo's Prison Study. When people are given masks and power, they Change. Not all Change is for the better. Yes, the idea that just because the majority wants something makes it a good idea is false. However, so is the idea that just because some people are skilled in getting into exclusive groups, they are more in the right than the majority. I'm very good at diplomacy (when I want to be). I could probably get into many positions if I wanted to. However, I'd rather stay true to myself, and thus a great deal of what I say isn't diplomatic. Edit: Don't misunderstand, I'm not intending to imply that anyone in the council lied about who they are to get into it. I'm just saying, that there's brute honesty, and there's diplomacy. Diplomacy is what usually wins one friends, though brute honesty is, to be honest, more honest.

You could make one calendar event indicating the start of all the events, and their times. Problem easily solved? Then you could announce when each event is coming up, in the mood panel.

? I don't mean over the voting, I mean over daily TK management decisions. That is, are all TKs responsible for the management problems of the past, or is it just the head's fault?

How much say do the other members of the TK have over the leaders decisions is what I wonder.
