  1. Actually, people in gray have been online within the past 24 hours. Nonetheless, I also feel like there are enough people with a bad balance to make others want to get more losses. For the past few days, I've had less than a hundred more losses than wins, and almost everyone gives me negative honor. Currently, my balance is at Won: 1668 | Lost: 1761. Sometime while I wasn't paying discretion to who I was attacking and what honor penalty (generally penalty, not bonus) they gave, my honor dropped from 5000 to 2700 within a few hours. I had to attack phlegm twice and the KC several times to get it back up to max. I haven't noted any exp/skill bonus for my balance so far (the newslog doesn't go into the specifics of the bonus system mechanics), and what I might get later if I continue my effort to balance my counter seems little in comparison to the prospect of trying to keep out of negative honor and the deprivation of combat gain at -500 honor. It does make me want to get more losses rather than balance. I noticed that the exp bonus for honor reward greater than 200 was replaced with one for values greater than 400, but I don't think that will solve anything, except to make players try to get 800 more losses:wins than other people's loss:win ratio. I think that there should be a cap placed on the exp bonus you can get for honor rewards greater than 400, something substantially less than what you could get with a balanced profile. I'm pretty sure that most have been ignoring Manu's encouragement for a balanced counter, and it makes sense. There are going to be people who are too lazy or find it hard to maintain wins and losses so that they're at close figures, and in order to gain honor from those people, other people will purposely collect losses. If the majority doesn't keep a balance, it's very tough for those who try to stay faithful to the concept that balance is beneficial, and the majority turns out to be so. I may or may not continue this effort to get a balance. It depends on how many others are going to try to do the same. In fact, I'd like to make a list right now of those who have less than 100 more losses than wins. I'd bet it wouldn't be very long.
  2. That's odd.. Manu made an announcement not too long ago that all mp4 and 5 would gain a shop reset. If it still isn't there, I think it might be a bug and you were missed or something. Someone, ah, not me, could contact Manu if so.
  3. ... look at these two, saying bad things about people without citing any examples D: I'm so hurt. I don't mind if you ask them, though. It does mean less work for me. Uh, not that I especially mind when anybody asks me questions, since I'm so helpful and caring in nature. But I'm sure the others like to be asked questions once in a while; probably makes them feel superior to be able to answer. ;
  4. I still need to post some fanart D: Stop continuously adding things, it makes me feel really slow and neglectful.
  5. Hullo~ You can ask any of the people who seem friendly and reply to this topic, or use the Live Help button if you have questions.
  6. Yeah, right > You should've seen Lulu cower before his threat-filled, raging rant about how she lacked respect, as shown by negative comment on the appearance of his cape and sword ("lame," she called them) while he was idle. My poor pet...
  7. Probably so; I think it resets all the items? And since someone asked before, I'm going to post here that more shop resets are granted by Manu at his whim there aren't any set triggers or things like that. EDIT: chewett says it resets specific items here.

mm, I saw that when I reread your post. I need to brush up on my reading skills.. I've been misinterpreting people in chat, too >
  9. Hmm, well, I don't think it's really all that bad. It's true that some don't have the creatures the oldest players in their mindpower have, but those who do have to creatures can compete against each other. As magicduel's playerbase widens there will be more players at once who can provide competition. The weaker players can train up their creatures to participate in the next one against each other. Also, for the higher mp levels, I imagine that most will have the same maxed creatures and there'll only be stat/skill difference between the oldest and newest in the mindpower.
  10. > I don't know whether or not to believe you~ You probably just wanted to make me wait and be pained from suspense until you showed it to others...

Morgana is talking about VP A bit off-topic, but since others were talking about it, it's fine.
  12. Welcome to the forum You can become a post-spazzer like me.
  13. You have to have at least 7 heads Head Contest rules say that you may attack people with a certain amount of heads, which has been determined by several players.

I have no idea but that's a lot :@ (non-contributing person) EDIT: Lu needs to stop logging onto my account.
  15. O_O I like the red eye. Maybe the red eye should've been bigger. More menacing. Yuh. When did your scanner start working? >_>...
  16. Then there isn't a cap for saccing? n_n; I think this was the thing I was thinking about, although I added another digit and applied it to saccing, not storymode. I did say my memory was unreliable and murky
  17. It's possible; the only thing you need to do is damage or heal yourself 15% before killing the enemy. Or you don't really have to kill your enemy's creature, but make sure there is a 35% difference between whatever percent you heal or get hurt and however much the enemy is damaged (or healed, although that would be a pretty odd fight). Am I making sense here? Although I'll tell you that you can do it either way, I'll leave it up to you to figure out how. That's strategy EDIT: Morgana's quick.. and also explicit. EDIT2: Spoiler links are useful
  18. It was one day of work.. that's more than what Killerplox has gotten in two days. >_>
  19. I lost about 120 points
  20. Hmm~ 1) I don't know.. I think whoever has the heads is supposed to be the most strategic. Otherwise, it would be just the oldest players or those who farm stats daily who would win. This way, players can't get heads with brute force. And you can get victories from people with really weak def rituals, you just need to use strategy. 2) Well, I dislike it when people log off and never come back on just to stop others from getting heads, not to keep heads and increase score. But at the same time, I think it would be unfair for those who have to spend time away from MD. 3) Once people have 7 heads, you can attack them in sanctuaries. Isn't that what you meant? 4) I like this one.
  21. You are the attacker, right? It could be that someone attacked you afterwards and the log of it was erased through an existant loophole. It's a kind of touchy subject because that loophole is related to a secret feature, so I'll just leave it for you to discover. Otherwise, I can't think of how this would happen.
  22. If your ritual has less than 301 VE without vit bond and combos, then a random ritual is selected.
  23. There is. At least for now. From murky and unreliable memory, I think the cap is a value around 2000. EDIT: a cap on principles is unconfirmed, although there is one on how much you can gain in storymode (200)
