1. Personally i think the limit should now be replaced to 200, then it becomes much more possible provided some effort is performed.
2. sabotaging is still possible no? It just requires a continual effort to keep it, rather than just holding lots of candy. It "might" be impossible depending on the candy spawn rates and such, but i dont have time nor am i really bothered to check this, perhaps you can do the maths no one.
3. Thank you for raising the issue Kiley, i did not initially look at the linked blog, however now i have it is indeed something that should not be posted on the forum, I ask Curi not to post the link on the forum again, While i have no issues with the content of the blog it is not appropriate to be on the forum and thusly the link has been removed.
4. I wasnt attempting to say you want to waste Murry's time, But what i was merely saying is that it can be spent on other features which need some improvement, rather than ones that are fairly "non-mission-critical" As you said, "its just a little something on the side" my point was that i dont think there is a reason to actually spend time on it, when other things are more urgent.
5. wonderful, so now we are down when CF goes down and when MD goes down... closed
6. Personally i find the effect tacky, something of sites of the early 2000's. However thats just a personal opinion. There would be reasons against making it compulsory, giving the option to turn it off is a must. Also, is there a reason to waste Murry's time on features which are superfluous when other features are broken and need fixing?
7. The snow option is turned on when it is december i believe, or closer to christmas.
8. Its down for me in UK
9. snow is javascript i believe
10. how much will you pay us to take the tokened one and give you a untokened one?
11. The leash now has 195 uses but is still held by fang, so indeed he could sell it.
12.
Although dead again, I do not have a similar issue. Are you talking about your max Vitality/Value points bring reduced? I wake up everyday and I am regenerating my own normally. On another note, something I just remembered. When I died the first time in MD (whole different death mechanic that turned me mp7) I had 0 max vitality, maybe even 0 max value points. Not sure if this helps.
As you said, its a whole different mechanic
13.
Why? MP6 is (intentionally) not designed for everyone to be able to get there.
grido lies The above Murquote is old and there is one that is more recent, and actually relevant. Mur stated "Everyone will eventually reach MP6, even just for a day or so" MP6 also apparently needs work done to it, and mur never finished the system while doing the changes.
14. please see this Lib: http://community.invisionpower.com/blog/1174/entry-2578-ipboard-3-reputation-system/
15. The idea of Murs having LHO's escort and move people around is a good one. It will also aid the mainly useless messages in chat, newbies never know if someone just said it, or said it 6 hours ago as there is no timestamps... Lhos could do actual work and escort people around, that would be interesting, having that level of itneraction with new players would certainly help people stay for longer, even if it means they look around and actually spend more time in MD initially. Ofc if the Lhos dont want to, then is there any actual point in relying more on actual people doing things? There have been isssues with actually staffing the cabin, i dont doubt there will be issues doing this unless some LHo's actually start helping.
16. Thanks goes to burns and BFH for their work in doing their part to help the forum.
17. Looks nice Could we not have a "basic version" that is even shorter than it is at the moment, with some clear points, numbered, then having the more expanded, the version with the expanded instructions being primilarly made of the hidden bits? Similar to a "dont be stupid" guide, clear points about important ideas and rules, and just leave the in depth details to anyone else that cares. Also i dont like the caps, but thats me
18. all depends on the image and the compression used "generally" PNG's are larger, but for some image types they will be smaller. I would always use jpeg to upload images as its going to be smaller 95% of the time,
19. I have currently limited forum uploads, i shall be going through some of the bigger images on the forum and replaceing them with links to storenow, however from the last time i looked it looks like large amounts of images are in PM's and hidden forums. I shall be going through and deleteing things when i have some spare time. If your image is on the forum it is of risk of being deleted. DO NOT UPLOAD .BMP images, they are massive and you should jpeg compress images... if unsure, upload anywhere else
20. Any suggestions for this can be sent to me directly, People should be using external services to host things where possible
21. its going to go bang soon...
22. i can review it in terms of correct code and such if you want someone to glance over it from a "would it work" "is it coded properly" "have they left any tea parts in" I like php, it isn't ugly
23. oki shall leave this open til nad says his issue and you say yours is done
