I'm more disgusted that those with the revival items don't step forward and offer healing without charging a crazy amount to revive. It shows the kind of people there are in MD.
One person has offered to freely revive me, all i need to do is ask
  2.
Chwyl (Chewett Alt I suppose) has donated a GG drachorn for the community garden.
That is not my alt, please do not suppose anyone is my alt without asking me personally. If he is claiming to be my alt please tell me.
  3.
you were even seen cursing like a sailor, breaking rules doing so, in the mood panel
Look up "Veteran privileges", Ask Murry about me swearing on the mood panel if you have such a great issue with this. I have talked to him before on this matter. Failing that, sue me.
As far as I understand it, Many did not want to help Spartiatis because he went so long without trying to do anything to help himself. So with you doing the same, what makes you think your "life" is more valuable than his? Especially if you are going to do nothing to help yourself just as he had done.
You dont really seem to have understood what im saying. I currently do not have time to "help myself" i do a variety of things for MD, and they are currently taking all of my free MD time. I dont have time to roleplay, as i commented myself, i would love to, but i cant. Therefore i am put in spar's position.
And pretending not to care about being killed, that it was a cool thing to add to the game
It IS a cool thing, if you weren't around during the previous revival efforts, look them up. i loved them.
Again, you don't decide to go against something unless it involves you personally.
Thats because, up until the Spar case and this one, i found death fun, it was fun, and it still can be fun, provided those who do not roleplay are not forced into doing it.

    A funeral
Chewett was murdered because of the realm's inhabitants unwillingness to have him revived. Save the Wookie, save the Spartan. Do you think you can do it?
Thats a very poor reason, and i personally feel thats a hastily made lie because you dislike me... Eitherway, Helping someone by doing nothing to help him yourself, and just killing someone, that sounds incredibly backward logic. Well done Siegheart, you have a second person who needs reviving
  5. This morning Seigheart killed me. When confronted with this, he lied about killing me until i gave him evidence that cannot be ignored, and then gave me a story about "killing me to help spar". I waited to hear his reasoning until I posted this topic, it's a poor one and one I personally don't believe because he dislikes me. Well done sieg, I'm dead. Now honestly, I would have love to be killed, its great roleplay fun, and when it was introduced into the game, I thought it was a really cool idea. When the monarchs were killed I organised a nice little roleplay event that i had great fun in doing, and we revived them. Then when sieg and the others were killed, again I helped out where I could and had great fun doing so. Sadly, over the past months I haven't had much time for MD, and when Spar died I haven't really had time to attend any of the events that were arranged, let alone run the service that I was thinking of doing for him. He is a great warrior and i felt that we should honour this. I didn't have time to run this, and sadly it looks like he has left now, so that's not good. I now sit at GoC, dead. I don't have any time to roleplay some event to revive myself, and I will not be paying anyone to revive myself. Death to someone who doesn't roleplay means only that either the community will roleplay for them, and the gods will deem them worthy to be brought back, or that they pay. Clearly in spars case, he couldn't pay, and sadly I didn't see too much action for the roleplay so he faded away. This is entirely stupid, there needs to be more mechanics so that people who have died, have some way to be reborn that isnt paying someone an extortionate amount of coin or roleplay that isn't guaranteed to work. When Mur gave out revival items, it was obvious that they would slowly move to the highest bidders, those who would keep them for themselves. The "normal" person has little chance to be revived by an item, unless they have friends that hold said items. Death seems unfinished, especially when it is exceptionally hard for someone to be revived. In Spar's you just tell him to go away, he cant play MD anymore. Many of you wont have bothered to listen to spar, But hopefully someone is going to listen to what im saying. Quite simply, I'm just going to wait, I don't have time to do any roleplay to save me currently, nor will i be wasting my coin buying the use of a revival item. Lets see if I last longer than Spar until some change happens in MD. Thanks Sieg, you have made one more person die, which means one more revival item needs to be used, whereas you could have been productive and actually tried to help spar by convincing someone else.
  6.
I don't recall what you are talking about but one person seeking entrance into an alliance that is known and respected is far different than an alliance seeking membership because it has only one or two people and needs more to stay alive based on a rule that has been in motion for over a year now.
Oh yeah i would agree with you there, But, to give some perspective, recently because of all of pippies alliance takeovers, a lot of people kicked inactives and such so that they couldnt come back and invite pippy/LW into their alliance. You dont know if the person you have invited into the alliance just wants to get in to invite them to steal the alliance.
  7.
I don't believe alts should be allowed in different alliances. If there was to be a "war" between your alliance and the alliance your alt is in, what would you do? You aren't allowed to attack yourself. It is against the rules.
I know a number of people who play alts well in different lands and alliances.
And as for the rule regarding the minimum of three members... It was posted before that back in 2009 this rule was announced. Maybe 2010. That is two or three years that this rule has been standing. Where was all this discussion about it then? Or did you just not care then because it didn't affect you then?
Mur did it then, Most people dont argue with Mur, wheras council everyone loves to argue with them. I remember little/no argument to the rule when murry announced it, nor any when/if he removed alliances before.
I would think the best question is, if you are really that concerned about it, then why not do something about it? I have been in the game for over 100 days now and I had never heard of Fyrd's alliance before. There are plenty of people who are unaffiliated with any alliances. I for one have never been asked into any alliance, nor had any of my alts. Three simple members can't be that hard to achieve...
But you are applying for an alliance no? I asked you about an alliance before you "hated" on me.
  8. come back and see me BloodPrince
  9. yes, in my view it would be
  10. The skill of a good landscaper is to be able to deal with the normally limited amount of space and not to crowd it, Since it looks like space is an issue, as in all of the items are very crowded then would it not be better to create "new" scenes that the main one leads to so that the current proposed scene is just the entrance? I couldnt really remember the plan of the scenery, but when i thought of the greenhouse/shed i was more imaging it would be filling the entireity of the scene, mainly since these items are normally large, and given the size of the slime and using it to compare, anything smaller than most of the scene would be smaller than a person. Given the trouble with trying to get one scene changed for the dojo, i cant imagine there will be any more difficultly in adding a few scenes, both feats being exceptionally hard.
  11.
In the event that an alliance only has 2 members or less, they are in constant danger of being disbanded immediatedly. Using alts to fill the seats is not allowed if they are from the same person
That isnt clear, and would have to have some clarification from Mur/Council, but i believe that is indeed the case based on my discussion with mur months previous.
  12. are these rules intending to replace the current ones? or be an aside?
  13.
If the 3 members minimum alliance rule stands we should probably add that to this page, to avoid any future confusion as happened to Fyrd when the LS was taken from him.
seconded
  14. I asked Murry this question previously and he said that provided your alts are not in the alliance to specifically provide loyalty benifits or that you dont have multiple alts in an alliance, thats perfectly fine. But there are no concrete rules banning alts in an alliance. Although i think that there should be some rule regarding multiple alts in the same alliance,
  15.
I don't follow you, Chewy. Shouldn't bother with what? My opinion is and always has been that talk is not enough.
My post was mainly a reply to Pip, I was under the impression he was saying there is no point doing anything if the council are too busy/lazy to check things happening. I also agree with you that talk and specifically this post, will not be enough If there is anything i can do to aid the alliance, please feel free to ask me for anything.
  16.
I believe I understand why Tarquinus takes this position regarding the Council, and I can see where you're coming from as well, I would just like to offer my view: If the CoE simply did their thing and waited to be recognized, the Council would not recognize them. They are preoccupied with other things, and have little time to go looking for people to reward, no?
I dont know, I think they should cross that bridge when they come to it, i havent seen them do anything and if they have they have been very quiet. If they do a shedload, and still nothing comes of it, then more direct means could be decided, but at the moment i find it foolish to presume things that havent happened. I think the reasoning that they shouldnt bother because they wont be noticed... is rather poor
  17. Quite honestly, i dont care to try and decipher the long and ardueous document that you have linked. It seems the key points are all in the "long form" including so many "technical" buzzwords that i see no reasoning to waste my time. And would be very tempted just to "randomly vote" That is my only criticism, Its perfectly fine you want to brush up on all your law writing stuff, but its not going to mean im going to bother to read all the buzzwords, i get enough of them in my job that i need to read.
  18. Yay tests!
  19. If mur has previously stated that their current goals are wrong from what they do then what is their goal?
  20. How can you judge the activity of an alliance? The number of posts it makes? The number of wikia edits?
  21. What do people think about the rule? Should an alliance be maintained when there is only one active member? Should there be a more flexible system?
  22.
Other than admin alliances, an alliance is a group of people with a badge to signify that. One person or two people is not a group - I dont see why the rule shouldnt stand. Z
A very good point, i feel more discussion is needed before anyone casts their vote unwisely. Therefore i shall close this for now, we all need to think about this more objectively. EDIT: please see this discussion thread: http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/topic/12435-3-member-alliance-rule/
  23. In addition, as i said i shall be contacting the council, i shall be putting the names down of anyone who agrees with this action on the petition i shall be sending. If you wish your name to go down, please post here and i shall add your name to the petition.
  24. I am completely ignoring the fact that the alliances were removed. It has happened, i feel we should all move on. However, i do feel the rule is incorrect and that it should be changed. I shall be opening this poll, i shall also be writing to the council with the results of the poll and asking them to consider removing Murs Rule, I do not think it fits. The poll does not specify if the rule should have the number changed, But whether the concept of disbanding alliances based on member count. Please vote on this matters and do not turn this into a "return X alliance back" thread. What has happened has happened. Both alliances were started to be "hibernated" so there is a chance to regain them if we, the community, wants to. But we should speak out and say we do not feel a rule should be applied.
  25. Its an interesting one, I myself cannot remember what the Legend speakers set out to do, nor can i quite honestly see what has been happening with them. It is unfortunate that they were removed, but it seems entirely hypocritical to enforce the limit for CoE and then not for any other alliance? Its a rule that was enforced by Mur, clearly someone decided it should be enforced checked. Do i agree with doing it? probably not, Do i agree that it should have been done? Probably yes, It seems entirely unfair to CoE if you are to not apply the rule retroactively. More of a punishment specifically targetting CoE. Personally would be looking towards the future and A) change the rules regarding alliance "inactivity" and B) start work on a better CoE/LS Its noted they are in hibernation, whatever that means, surely means that there is a way to "reattain" them. My only question now, do people just want to complain, or are people going to actively do what they should have been doing to reclaim the alliance?
