Tomorrow (27th Oct) the forum will be rebuilt, Hopefully this shall fix some of the older posts. But in the time being It WILL make the forum laggy, but shouldn't stop it loading. During the time it starts i will be on yim (you can view my details on my profile page) and i will be avalible to talk about anything relating, if the forum doesn't load for you i would like to know during this time. It will start around 10-12:00 Servertime and could take an hour or two. During this time please feel free to bother me on yim. I will just be monitoring the progress. I will post as i start, and such. So this thread and ingame will show the details.

I totally agree with Kamisha. Pashweetie you are relatively new to this realm and this idea has been done a lot of times before. We have seen what happened to GGG and other such training grounds and know what the issues are. We are merely asking you how you will make it work, and therefore try and improve your initial idea. As Kamisha said, by putting your idea ahead you are putting yourself up for debate about your idea. If you only want this for signing up, and not to talk about your idea then it will fail quicker as there will have been less of an input into the possible issues and how to solve them. Listen to what people say, and try and accept that we have seen such ideas previous.

So what stops people just attacking? whats their incentive not to break it all up?

personally i think that its lazy randomly picking a protector because their ranking is high. you should know your protector and talk with them rather than just picking the "highest ranking person" Also you get the issue of people picking high ranking people and thus the lower "ranking" people will have less people and drop to mp5. I dislike it, having a protector should be something personal and you should not just randomly select a name from a list.

The stories will be embelished, the truth will be distorted and an accurate legend will quickly move into myth and falsity. Just as every one of these events we end up worshipping people whome most have no clue about, and where even the ones telling the story have ended up forgetting what said player actually did and was. <Note: this is my default response to such ideas, this is not specifically aimed at you curi, but as with most of these they all end up some way along the line to totaly rubbish>

I agree with shadow. Its not an issue with heat. its something todo with your computer. As you know when you reach max heat the flash animation transforms, If your computer is slow then it transforming may be enough to just knock out the flash and your browser as your computer cannot cope with it. Bring up task manager and see what happens when you reach.. Try closing down programs since its definately not MD's issue.

iv literally recently done the tutorial (~back two days or so) and encoutered no such issue. So from that im assuming that its only happened sometimes? Then If its bound by our normal combat rules then it could be running out of VE and such. anyways thats all a guess and therefore most likely rubbish, but unless its just started to happen its not doint it regularly

There is a team of moderators on this forum that deal with warning people, closing topics and helping people use the forum. They dont get paid for doing this nor do they get any benefits. If there is something in perticular that you would like to close, unless you are the creator of the post it is considered rude to post comments like "this should probably be closed" and such. Because of this if you in specific feel that something should be done with X topic then you should contact a moderator via pm to ask nicely if they agree with what you feel should be done. Backseat modding is both rude and annoying, because by "helping" you bump the topic with a pointless post, and moderators will most likely ignore what you ask or warn you.

There is good and bad news. The good News is that they are merely moving their servers from one datacentre to another. This means no Red buttons were pressed and nothing is lost. The Bad news is that its going to be out for another 4 hours (ish) from this post. I or Mur or Someone else will keep you updated on whats happening, Thats only the expected time so it might differ a little bit but the guys over at hosting are working as fast as possible to reconnect us and everyone else. In the meantime, i recommend going outside and feeling the sun's rays. if you cant see it it might be something called "Night" which although we dont have in MD i assure you is very normal in Real Life. No one except magical people can reply to this topic you fool. If you Do want them to reply i can fix that... AND its not maintenance, have you even looked at the forum? AND no, i doubt there will be any gifts, nor has polls on the forum rarely done ANYTHING

Its being looked at currently, so basicly you have to wait. As usual with MD it likes to go down randomly and since they are working on it i guess we wait.

No one can answer that since i doubt anyone has spoken with mur/people in charge. And if Mur is going to do something he will announce it.
