1.
In other words, you don't believe they will? 5 minutes to tell the community what is wrong? Where the problem is situated?
In other words, when your topic was named just "Information", I gave you what you asked for. But let's put that aside for a second, when there's a topic that grows past a page in under a day, it doesn't go unnoticed by anybody who happens to be reading the forum (referring to this), especially if that topic is about such an obvious issue. The first response of most people would be to go on the forum and search for why they can't log in and whether it's worth being bothered over. Both of those questions were answered in that thread, within half an hour of it's start, by No one. Any information other than that is not really needed for the general public, at least not while those who have the answers could be fixing the issue instead of answering questions.
2. The sky is purple and Rhaegar's left ear wiggles when there's rain coming. (Read as: What is the specific purpose of your post because it is quite open to interpretation)
3. As offensively as he put it, I'd agree with Junior. I like my avatar because it's not a perfect, beautiful drawing, and it's fun. Pick the one that represents you in your mind, because it's unlikely anyone will ask or give you their opinion other than "Nice avatar".
4.
It is all down the slope from there and more get killed to stop the revival of the unfit. Some do not deserve to play in any other way then "dead".
Remember when the word "elitism" was floating around the forum? I didn't think feelings like that actually existed. Thank you for proving to me that some have an ego big enough to think things like this.
5. What you did was allowed and still is, but conditions have changed. Adapt your methods rather than hoping that they'll change their minds, it's a better use of your energy. As for Elus, I doubt something that changes inventory of its own will would be implemented unless it couldn't be traded normally, therefore stopping unsuspecting people from buying them and losing them the next day.
6. Archives and Tribunal are full of viscosity, and if I'm low on AP, I'd rather send an email than trudge through that (well, not for Tribunal for me personally, but generally speaking). GoE doesn't relate to Treasure Keepers very much, but it does hint at rewards and common ground for anybody who's been around long enough to see some special occasions and festivals and obviously, it's easily accessible. As for visibility, I would agree, that clickable is tiny and stuff.
7. Seigheart should be alive because in his place, it's what I would want. Plus, the death mechanic is becoming overused, while revivals are generally long after the death in question and involve much effort from the community. One click of a button needs a month or so of heat voting, 30 gold coins or Molquert's thing to be undone.
8. Sorry, I was under the impression that reputation was anonymous, but you seem to have information not only about who gave reputation, but why as well, since it would be pretty difficult (read as: impossible) to know why without knowing who. Nonetheless, I find myself subject to negative reputation sometimes, would I like to believe it's all people who just don't like me? Hell yeah, some of it might even be just that. Does it ultimately matter what somebody's reason is for pressing the button? Isn't it their right to judge you and me and anyone else, whether it's because of what you say or because of who you are? Just the same as it is your right to ignore it. If you believe somebody is being subjected to extreme prejudice (ie. somebody going and giving reputation to every one of somebody's posts, old and new, regardless of content or location) then I will direct you to our friendly team of mods and administrators who I'm sure will do their very best to help figure out your concern.
9. So, say another war starts. Do I, as a loyal fighter for my land, care whether the enemy soldiers are MP4 or MP5? There should be a natural progression to MP5, especially now that MP4s have the opportunity to train their stats before advancing by lowering EXP. If one MP4 advances alone, yes it's going to be difficult for them to get on their feet, but if two MP4s advance together, they've got training partners of somewhat equal level, and if three or four advance together, they've got a whole group. Then, when another group comes once that group gets stronger, they can attack these new MP5s while they train themselves for the next group. There are so many reasons to disagree with this, the least of which is "Hurr durr I want to attack you".
10. Fang, my comment was meant to suggest that I was offering my support.
11. Pretty sure I'm valid...haven't been tested lately though.
12.
I obviously value life, because I want to be alive so that I don't have to rely on others to do things. But I am indifferent for whether I am alive or dead. Why is that so hard to understand?
If you won't put effort in, why should anybody else? We are a community, collaboration is the easiest way to do things.
13. I would suggest asking Dimensional Shifters before asking LHOs, as the Cabin is empty often enough already, while DS have MDA days so they can walk with little cost.
14. That he cares more about The Council's opinion than the opinion of a bunch of people who seem to dislike him and, from his perspective, would gladly see him fail at everything. I find it commendable that he keeps trying with all this discouragement, even if he does it dumb sometimes.
15. Shared items that LHOs can get and give to new players that let them move with lower AP cost, maybe 20 per step if visc is higher than that. Organize a group of high-AP people to move through places and lower viscosity every once in a while, and then trips to the Archives can be scheduled.
16. Can you lock the gallery to new uploads and stick a link to storenow somewhere?
17. I haven't got an issue, only offering a possible solution. It's hard to talk about things in vague terms.
18.
hello sirs, i'd also like to add one location (a "Story Mode" scene in Marind Bell) that has a visible arrow but does not work.
While Tom Pounce's issue is resolved, this one is not, as far as I know, though I wonder if it's not just currently inaccessible, similar to the one leading to the balcony in the archives. (If I've guessed at what he's talking about correctly, anyways)
19. The arrows are gone, no worries.
20. Molquert is a Council-sponsored quest, the reward being something special and unique: revival. To me, the fact that people are offering rewards like this is an insult to anybody trying to revive people for its own sake. If the powers that be find that Molquert is not working, it'll change, though it may take time. Patience. If you still want to reward people for the effort of reviving people, I would suggest not advertising it and seeking them out after they do it. As for the conflict of interests stuff, there's not much else to be said: Seig, good job, you have an excellent way of causing problems and then getting angry about it.
21. Sasha Lilias had the Dimensional Shifters revived and given to her (she is no longer in the alliance): Ann. 2230 Kyphis got abilities pertaining to his role as Chronicler: Ann. 2236 MRAlyon made role leader of the MR Fraternity: Ann. 2246 Neno Veliki and Fire Starter got the new position of Avatar Manager, dealing with Gold Avatars and possibly other things (there have been many people caught for stolen artwork since then, may or may not be related): Ann. 2331 Awiiya was given the job of updating the public on Council activity, which he has since resigned from: Ann. 2338 Phantom Orchid has an official role as a dream person: Ann. 2336 and Ann. 2341 Just took a quick scan through the announcements since the beginning of March.
22. I could help, just let me know and I'll make a run through.
23. Not guaranteed satisfaction, just extra punishment if they're caught. If somebody actually intends to cheat you, they know about possible risks and have most likely accepted the possibility, an extra possible punishment isn't going to deter them all that much.
24. It's also easy to forget, then you get unnecessary warnings. People would love that.
25.
Also, as far as i know, there are no ingame punishments for attempted frauds, while i think those should definitely exist on the forum.
I don't, this is the point of contention for me. I don't like the idea of people being punished for what the mods believe is an attempt, because you simply have to look at Fang to see where this could get messy. Therefore, I would suggest punishments and warnings stay out of it until it can be proven that somebody is actually trying to pull something, whether that's the actual crime or a second attempt.
