Well... I think Ailith really nailed it and put everything in nice words. I support Ailith. I don't think DD's intention was bad - just the wording, and I understand why he lashed at dst, as I have seen another exchange of posts between them in which dst made similar remarks; the posts were removed. I do not want to say that this sort of s**t talking is alright! But I understand why he did it. Also please note I do not in -any- way want to take sides between him and dst. But I also don't think we should all call him names now because he lost his temper. That kind of stuff happens. Ary, I also agree with you, but you might start a hell of a s**t storm with it... MD is divided into roleplayers and grinders, mostly (yes I know that there are people in between, just naming the extremes). It will be very difficult to please both with MP progress requirements and off the top of my head, I don't see how middle grounds could be found. Though I'm certain that a solution can be found, but we'd need to have a civilised discussion about it. tl;dr: DD used some nasty words, I understand why he did it. We should focus on finding a solution to the MP3 problem rather than throwing words at eachother, IMO.

Well... On the one hand, let's face it, IF MD actually gets new players, they might just as well quit the game after a few days. There are probably less than 10 active MP3s at the moment, so it must be a pain to progress. Therefore, I would suggest that if we have MP3 alts, we could leave them idle somewhere but for the sake of new players, rather than farming for ourselves or whatever. I do imagine some may consider this alt abuse, but I personally don't see it as such. If this will be deemed "legal", then I have a MP3 alt or two that I could contribute to this. But only if this isn't deemed alt abuse.

Agreed. Avatars should be cleaned up, but I imagine that must be quite a task, considering there's 800 of them or so. As for tags, I find it more difficult to say. I agree that the "extra" tags in brackets look ugly, but that's all I can say on that matter.

To be clear here, and to keep things on topic: Granos is very correct with regards to some aspects - I understand his concern that I may just create a "let's get together and RP without actually driving anything forward"-group, which I believe is not the case. Nevertheless, it may have come across as such from the text. Furthermore, he did score a very valid point regarding the knightly order and its lack of purpose, so long there are the Guardians of the Root. I will ponder this, but right now I am in favour of removing the "covenant" entirely and possibly adjusting the Cloister, if necessary. He does score a few very valid points which I understand and which I did not see myself in the beginning (such as the redundancy of the knightly order). I will adjust the manifest accordingly, but it may take a couple of days as I will be travelling all day tomorrow. Suggestions on other sections of the manifesto are still welcome. Current "to do": Clarify the "purpose" part to make sure it's clear that the alliance will seek to drive something forward, not just skip around for random RP. Edit the Covenant or remove it entirely.

I believe BFH made an argument that there is no need for "Defenders" and "Knights" and I had actually written my manifesto by that point. Loreroot has its Guardians, there is no need for another alliance like that, rather for something different, which is why I went for this approach.
