Because of this, I have decided to be generous, and award [b]all[/b] participance. No, I have to say I am fully for this idea. If it was all MP3/4, then I wouldn't agree, but being in an alliance is another issue entirely. I think this would revitalize the contest from the joke that it is right now. It will remove most (not all, but most) of its abusability, and help to make it possible to actually play for all the lands. It won't make it fair, but it will be a step closer to that goal. MP3/4 who haven't earn't a place in an alliance or earn't entrance into the lands properly shouldn't be granted a free pass like this. Everything in this game needs to be earn't, even if that is achieved simply by being online at the right time (as with item hand-out, recently). Removing the ability for such low level players outside alliances to play torch will also help to reduce the alt farming that happens most torch contests.

For a short while, I will be buying coins for credits. I have 100 credits to spend, once I reach that goal this purchase will end. My prices are: 10 silver - 5 credits 25 silver - 15 credits 1 gold - 10 credits I will haggle on higher quantities. Edit: I am now only interested in Silver, and have 40 credits left to deal with. Yeah... I emulate everything from NES through Wii. I don't bother with X-Box since I can use Games for windows Live My Live ID is Kyphis, but for some reason my laptop cant connect to the Live network (stupid Vista >.>) via the Games client T_T I play a lot of the Overlord Series, and also Fallout (among others)

Since making mine, I have read yours, and CONFIRMED they are just repetitious and irrelevant to what I posted, so I didn't see any reason to bother changing my initial post. And apparently you don't bother reading the topics yourself, since I didn't repeat anything other than my reference to Pip's post that wasn't presented in either a different or more defined format. Glad you got a laugh out of that line though, hope reading all that "amused" you.

The round device is one of the few obvious puzzles the game has built in (most quests are user created). There are progression rewards for solving it, and it is worth your while to do so (even if, when solved, it may not immediately appear so). The rules for spoilers are quite strict, so there are a lot of questions we can't answer (essentially, any of the direct ones), but there is nothing wrong with asking questions

(haven't read the whole topic, since most of it is just repetition) I think this is more of a long term setup thing than something that will happen in the next few weeks, or even months, just because of how difficult it would be to make fair and interesting. I like the idea, and have a suggestion of format. Have a list of events, at least 24 different ones. They can be similar, such as one is no token combat and the another battle royal (CBT Events); while another is public debate (with judges decided each time the "olympics" comes up) and another a riddle contest (LGC Events); and others such as build a boat, or a hunting contest (RP Events). The kings have each a team of 3 champions, that cannot be changed for each "olympics". Once chosen and announced, that is the decided team until the next olympics. Each champion can only participate in up to three events. The kings then take it in turns to choose one event at a time from the list, and a champion from their 3 for that even. The king choosing the event chooses his king first. This allows the event chooser to have a strategy, but also allows the other kings a better chance to be able to counter it, for fairness. For example: King [X] chooses event [4] and his champion, King [W] then chooses his champion, then King [Z], then King [Y]. After this event is held, the next event is selected by the next king, and champions are selected again. The order of event selection would need to be decided before each "olympics", and be different for each one. Every king would get two turns to select an event, for a total of 8 events each "olympics". Events that where used in the previous two "olympics" can-not be chosen that "olympics". This means that after the first two, there will always be a changing list of 12 events to choose from. Additionally, if an event is changed for another, then it takes the status of the old event. ie, if the event it is replacing was played last "olympic" then it will not be available for this or the next "olympics". Time wise, I would suggest that the "olympics" start 6 months apart. This format would allow for a lot of strategy, not just brute strength. You need to choose champions who are good at all likely events, choose events that your champions should have an edge in (for example, in a ship building contest, Cryxus would have an edge over Jonn, but Udgard as a crafter of Wood would have an advantage over Cryxus), and consider the games you will be leaving available for the next set of "olympics", and decide how you will allocate your champions since two will fight 3 events, and the third will fight 2. As far as who can participate, while I would like the non-main lands to be able to participate, I think that until they have a single person that they are willing to unify under, even if just for this event, that they should not be allowed to. While there are advantages to joining a mainland (WP codes for quests, alliance support, etc) at current they are more conveniences that major advantages or events. I think that the "olympics" should be a Kings privileged event, and as such would need to be organized and run by the kings. [b]EDIT[/b]: Pip made a post while I was typing, and reminded me of a few things I forgot to include but did think of (thankyou Pip) Champions selected for an "olympics", much like the events, can't be selected for the next two "olympics". Reward for the winning team of the "olympics" is a wishpoint for each of the champions. (champion [1] gets WP from king [X], [2] from [Y], [3] from [Z], for example, so it is one wishpoint from each loosing king)

I two have a heap of angiens that where solely for saccing. 20 of them, in fact. As most of you know, I don't care about combat and I almost very have more than a third my max VE, I was gaining this VE for use in conjunction with the Healing Spell from the Wish Shop. Since I didn't really care about when I sacced them, and didn't need the slots, they have ALL been ready to sacrifice for about a month now. That said, even with that plan spoiled, I still say No to the idea of a waiting time for new rules to get implemented. It would not be in the spirit of the game. You know what those 20 angiens will now be used for? Quest rewards. You might not want them, but you can bet someone will. If an abuse has been accepted, fine continue to use it. But recognize it IS an abuse, and WILL be fixed without much notice. There aren't that many things in this game that can be done only one way. All of that said, I would not object if the sacc rewards from the level two angiens where made the sacc rewards for maxed angiens >.> It kind of bugs me that one of the hardest creatures to raise gives no rewards once you do so '~'

Creatures reset in level, experience, and wins when traded. So the Walking Tree is really just Remains.

Aye, that stats do currently increase. Last time the calender was empty, however, the stats DIDN'T increase. So... it's acting differently than normal.

To address one of the main complaints with the -10% for capping a player suggestion, why not simply have a threshold before it applies? For example, if the limit is 320K, and the threshold is 370K (50K), then everyone who gives that player experience after they are at/above 370K experience looses 10% of their max VE. I would also suggest that a condition for the VE reduction to trigger be that the perpetrator either be at or have been at cap for that Mind Power Level. Wouldn't mind if there was a timer of say 10, which recorded how many times the VE penalty was applied to you, and if you exceeded the limit (in this case, 10) then the panalty extended to additional stats, as well.
