1. I don't understand the objective of this poll. Please clarify so I may make an informed vote.
2. Curiose, I'm very interested in seeing the revival of the MDA. Since my second week of playing, when I met Je Souis, it has been my only interest in the whole realm. The MDA may never be able to be what it once was. Its past is important, yes, but we need to build on its past, not emulate it. MD has changed since the last age of the Archivists, and I am hard at work on my plans to revitalize it. But hasty plans fail easily, and the MDA is not something to be toyed with. Rest assured, while I still walk the land only Mur could kill the MDA. I look forward to seeing, aiding, and participating in whatever plans you have to help revitalize the MDA, and I look forward to the same from you, when I am ready to tip my hand. (PS: "Inno" is pretty active, she just isn't very public nor does she go on the forum much. If you don't look for what she is doing, you won't see it)
3. Try contacting [council]
4. Don't forget that any animalish avatars still need to conform to the size norms of the more humanoid avatars, ie taller than they are wide (no big empty space at the top or bottom) Cool avatar, kinda makes me wish Burns wolf curse had been permanent I look forward to seeing the final version around the place
5.
(just a side remark ad. 1: If the game is supported using direct DB access and people who 'have access to it and you know what to change and how to change it' then it's a miracle it's not crashing twice a month... That would explain, why such a request would be outright rejected, though...)
Most... functions of any type... use a database >.> There are very few (as a %) sites that don't base almost all variables off of a database >.> I don't get why you are saying doing the normal thing would cause it to be susceptible to frequent crashing? Or even its relevance to the topic >.> More on topic: Mur's alt tracking network is pretty thorough, and proxies and the like never seem to have any success in beating it. If you want to be silly feel free, but as dst already said, be ready for any consequences (for example, permanent bans on all "your" accounts, which would include your friends accounts since they are marked as alts.) Far as the combat experimentation goes... there used to be a section on the main page which suggested a way to play the combat system offline. It was pretty neat, and I wish it was still up (I played it with quite a lot of people, actually. Brought in a few friends to MD). See if someone can post the rules for that, it has the explanation for how to setup any type of fight you want to experiment with. Hopefully that will address your combat aspect of the issue.

I know I am not ontopic here (Eh, offtopic section, what ya' gonna do?), but just a friendly reminder the Forum is not for RP. Very interesting question, though.
7. Unless you have applied the MAGIC CTC, you are actually selling a tokened, aged, Loreroot Scout. Not a Master LR Archer
8. Sadly, this is a side effect of the precautions to prevent alt abuses. There isn't really anything you can do about it now (unless you happen to both get a new internet provider and new computer, and even then it might not work), however don't quit just because of this. Combat is only one part of this game, and there are plenty of people to interact with, not just one friend. PS: You haven't committed a crime, and you aren't going to get thrown in gaol for it It's an automated restriction to prevent abuses, and while it has its downsides, for the most part it makes the game far better.
9. Good luck, from those in the South. Kinda' unfair for you to be hit with Floods and Cyclones so close together.

I'd play Ocarina (Zelda Nerd ftw), but Mel hates them.
11.
@Kyphis, Replacing WP require would require a rework of the system as I know it, but not sure what I think about the association between credits and WPs anyway...
Note that all the things I suggested had a limited number of purchases, no regeneration on reset. So it would only allow one or two items per person to be created without wishpoints, and even then only if they met the supporter status first. (although yes, I do understand what you mean't being that the Wishpoints cost is a hard coded part and would need to be able to recognize the tokens, not just the Crafter accept it)
12.
This list should contain ONLY things you cant get in the shop or wp shop.
I am curious if this includes items that are not regenerated at a shop reset, for example Erolin Space? It would be interesting to see things like Equipment Pieces (there are still all those slots with no items associated to them) available there. The other thing I can think of would be "Limited Cast" spells. Essentially, what I mean is spells identical to what you would get in the Wish Shop, except their casts don't get reset when the normal spells are reset (ie, once you use it, its gone). I'd suggest having a limited number of purchases of this sort of thing, something low like 2 (which, if the shop is capable of being "reset", should not be regenerated) I doubt this would turn up in the shop, but what about Illusions? There are plenty of interesting things amongst them. (once again, temporary access stuff, since from my understanding Illusions are a special game stage ability ) Another thing might be single access passes to normally restricted areas (I'd put an MP limit on that for a lot of areas though), only able to be purchased once, granting access once, to specific areas (ie, Loreroot back entrance, Golemus bridge, Archives Balcony, Oak Fort, Sage's Keep, etc. Potentially Necrovion gate, but I'd personally disagree with that one since Necrovion is not exactly the same as the other lands) Items area also an interesting thing to consider. While I think the current system is great, I wonder what would happen if, at a high supporter status requirement, people where able to obtain a token that replaced the wishpoint requirement (but not materials) for creating an item? Something like that should be restricted to about two purchases ever (but one would probably be better, just depends on the supporter status required) Beh, I will add more when I think of them >.>
13.
I'm guessing you were marked as alts before that.
Shortly after that restriction was implemented, Mur reset the associations so that people who had been stupid in the past would have a second shot. So what he was marked as in the past should be irrelevant.
14. And how would you determine who had access to editing this document? I would suggest the best option is to organize with someone who has clickies access to put up and maintain a calender in a public place, such as the GoE or MDP. Its simpler, and doesn't require Mur or the other coders to take time from other projects.
15. Currently there is no Master Archivist for the MDA, so I would suggest the Alliance leaders, either Fyrd Argentus, or Innocence. Since the Archivists is the main alliance of the land, I'd suggest asking Innocence about it first. It will certainly be interesting to see the results of this initiative, Firsanthalas.
16. Uh... I also don't know when the next story night is, and am waiting eagerly for its announcement >.> Although from the above, I can infer it is this weekend, probably mean't to be at the same time as the memorial >.> (By the way, isn't it Rensak, rather than Renavoid, who "died"? I haven't been following the story, so please PM me if you know rather than hi-jacking this thread with offtopic stuff >.>)
17. Not a fan of Twitter. I'll probably pass on this quest >.> Good idea though, advertising wise.

19. From memory, the MP4 story is the same as the MP3 story, however I haven't gone through all possibilities at each MP level so it is possible that some paths are longer at MP4 than they are at MP3 (just none of the ones I saw). MP5 is way bigger though.
20. Sounds brilliant, count me as willing and eager. (EDIT: PM me for contact details, if you wish to include me in your study )
21. Happy Birthday, Mike And thankyou for all your help with getting balanced. Without the likes as you, I would probably never manage it
22. Due to the nature of the letters, K; Y; H; 9; J; X; Z; M; and W tend to be the easiest to read. All the rest tend to be a bit confusing on occasions, with O and 0 being the worst offenders A lot of these sort of captcha/barcoding systems only use certain letters/numbers from each pair. For example, since S and 5 can look extremely similar, it might only use one of them. And so on with all the other similar ones (1/I, 0/O, B/E/3, R/P, etc) The problem we have is that this system doesn't appear to use such exclusions, as well as having thin letters that allow parts to fade into the background (making recognition even worse). Still, I think 15 seconds of code refreshing is a fair price to pay to keep bots out, so I don't see a problem
23. Its complicated, but this is my understanding: <spoiler removed> (Bear in mind, since I have a very basic understanding of coding, that that is probably completely wrong as far as explaining the reason, but it does explain the symptoms and how to reproduce them, as well as how to avoid them, which was your initial question)
24. Ah, but was it NO or N[Zero]
