To be fair Garg, you are pretty busy and i dont think you will have time to run the archivests, What are you doing for the archivists at the moment? The newspaper is behind most months, and Grido is doing a lot of work on that, So im not entirely sure where you will find the time to run the archivests and the paper. I think one of the younger members of the archivests should have a chance.

[/quote] Windy is theoritcally near that cost, but its not really, since it can be obtained with none. so really although its the most expensive creature, its not worth 4 WP, you just need to trade around for a GG then do a quest

[/quote] well if you have approved, unapproved, flagged then mur can check the ones that have been flagged. That will allow mur to check what is being flagged also an optional extra could be "approved by x" so that he can then pm the respective person if he needs to tell them something

Wouldnt it be easier to generate a page from the database, add a field as "approved" and just limit it by 10, then unapprove it when someone changes it, it would make it easier if you wanted to check it again

[/quote] Thats called SEO(Search Engine Optimisation) and Mur has and is doing that as he goes on (he works as a web devolper so knows a thing or two) and there are limits on what you can do to make you appear higher up.

You do realise that any decent Mp3 non alt can easily get most of those creatures you have named before hitting the exp cap! But i agree that the cap should probably be lowered

Here is my opinion on each of the previous rewards Firstly i think these rewards should stay, as they seem Best Back Story Best Role Play Best Personal Papers Best Villain Best Techie Best LHO - seems an ok reward Outstanding Service to MD Rookie of the Year Best Protector Best Protector Best PWR - I think should be removed so we dont just have a best Pwr and we have more larger catagories that would fit into this, like Roleplay, Papers and Back story Best RPC - obviously should be removed Most Addicted, Best Quote- there have been few quotes added, so i feel this should also be removed Best Dojo Staff - There has been no real "SG" movement like the dojo was, it seems to have failed a bit more than the dojo did, due to Shadows lack of time, This is why i think the reward will only bring out people who want to try and win it And finally, Guess who will complain about these rewards Most Annoying, Least Convincing Alts - I do not see these are real rewards, it merely encourages something that i personally dont want to see, alts and annoying people. And also, these rewards are not likely to change over time, which means there will be continual rewards for these people. It was funny seeing people get them, but it seems pointless to have them again. They just seem to mock the other worthwhile rewards So please, Iab and Lib come to defend those "rewards" i can see from your posts you only want to keep them, and i dont think they are real rewards in comparision and therefore should be removed. Why create an award wherin you win all the time? It makes the entire rewards a laugh

But then surely the vets will win again and again, unless you get them to help one person, and it all means that the vets have ALL the power This would be a good idea if the principle of "anyone can beat anyone" applied but it doesnt

On the AL front, i actually found it more interesting with someone else writing it than Mur (no offence Mur ofc), If you were to give them the brief about what they should write i think it would be really good, Your idea combined with their time to write stuff. Its like the MD drawings, You dont necessarily draw it all yourself, you tell someone what you want, and then they draw it with their interpretation. Also this would free up some of your time.

The monthly topic happens again If you didnt notice i had followed you into the maze, and attacked you before you logged out, Did you not check your fight log?

Reward them based on what you think of it and not on how you oringally planned to reward them

I believe the Adventure log should be left to the archivests. Im sure there would be someone who would be intrested in writing it again. Some of the current archivests wrote some of the old stuff didnt they? Perhaps get some of the archivests that wrote previously to try another "tale" then we could have a look

I cant read very much without my glasses because i get the worst migraine even thought i can see the text perfectly fine, But what you describe seems more than that.

Its a bad idea because how would you base it on a percent? if you think before the changes mur made you couldnt have 100 principles as 1% or something like that because then the number would get massively higher based on the stat grinders stats also. It would make the problem worse for in most cases the numbers would go up. Or the percent would be so low that only statgrinders would see the bonus and there would be no point for them at all. And on top of it, the changes have been made, so nothing can be done about it @Death Bell - you were lucky i was checking the hidden topics, this could have been invisible a lot longer. Its annoying eh?
