might be a bit offtopic and better in a separate topic, but still, i want to post this question: What do you think about the fairness of the new voting system. I plan to use it , with similar but not allways identical rules, for diciding other major issues about the realm. I am waiting for a honest reply from both sides please. Note: i didnt judged the arguments themselves but judged if the vote was well argumented or not, as ai said, BUT in a few cases the arguments where PRO while the vote was negative, or the opposite, in such cases i gave a low rating because you cant claim reasons for an opposite vote than the one you are giving. Also i judged some of the arguments that sounded realy undocumented or wrong, some of you , a few did that. Anyway, i did my best not to influence the results with my personal opinion , i ddint voted, but i want to hear from you if i succeeded or not to do a fair trial.

Here are the FULL records of the votes. I removed colums that are irrelevant such as ip, ids and also the player details of those voting to keep them anonymous. Those that signed yourself in the argument itself, bad luck (i think i removed your signatures anyway). citizen is the Land, vote is -1 for against, 1 for in favor, votepower is a mark from 1 to 10 for how founded the argument was (i was not judging your arguments , just judging if you had one or not), reputation is the reputation of the player given on a subjective based on how popular I consider you to be (from 0 to 2) and extrafactor is calculated based on your land affiliation. I didnt give any 10 mark on purpose because i am not fully decided yet what a 10 should be given for. One of the posts there deserved a 10 however. [attachment=1183:Yrth voteing.html]

bottom line is that such a guild as the Artisans was there with a purpose. If that purpose could not me fulfilled, the guild had no reason to exist. What the reasons are, if people were unable to send art to an email and posted it on forum for all to see, or if you Glor had no time to check, or whatever reasons, with or without reason, the guid was not functioning. I myself don't have time, but you as a GUILD were supposed to do everything possible to keep it running. Several people could have done this time taking work to check forums and contact players with such skills, i was not asking just one of you to do that, but more as a team. Now its over. An other thing, for ALL artists reading this. When you copy a character, do you have to copy it in the exact same positio as you find an image on the net? Are you not capable or creative enough to change something about it, or is it so much easyer to be a human scaner? From now on i will not accept art that represents known characters anyway.

The point of the competition was not to torture you with trying combinations. Please send me your codes when you think you have ALL of them, and i will tell you if one is wrong or give you the right sequence if you have them all right. Please don't forget i want a log of how you aquired the codes, trade, threat, promises, lies, anything, its just for my personal curiosity.

I don't think having ALL comtest questions public is a good idea .. what if someone will prepare all the answers and use copy paste during the competition. Its not that hard to answer any question of you have enough time.

Ok, i just received an other info of an existing (already uploaded) avy being an exact match with an other picture from the web. I am so so sorry that i have to work sometimes with this kind of (crap) artists. Unfortunately i can't check all the drawings for avies myself. Now I am even more angry on the "artisans guild". I assure you that from now on i will pay much more attention to all suspect drawings and not allow representations of known characters anymore, regardless if they are copied or not. Unfortunatly its hard to check who sent it long ago, but i know it was sent throug the guild. And FUNNY thing is that the same former members of the guild, you know who, accuse me of using stolen art.

You didn not stole art (meaning to get other drawings and submit them directly) , but you copied it. Its similar but at least you tried, and still not acceptable. And come on, you copied a LOGO of a company...that didn't seem bad for you?

posting sketches or pics to your submission will increase its chances of winning greatly ... everybody likes pictures

The proof for the stolen art is there. By stolen i mean identicaly copied. It took me 15min to find out it was copied, then i saw it on the forum allready discussed. I rejected the avyes from Glor, explaining this issue, yet Popitz keeps his seat. After that, today, it took me a couple of hours (while doing other things) to discover some awsome artists that submited their work month ago and none received answer. I contacted them, they submited it again to me, and there are allready several avys ready. ...while Glor told me in the past many month that there is no one capable , and nothing new or interesting appears. Actualy, he was probalby just writing from time to time, claiming there is no new artists just because he had no time to check. He has an excuse, he has personal problems and i understand that, but amoran that takes so much pride for the artisans management, has NO excuse, because all this time she was in MD (causing trouble) and did not do anything close to manage the artisans or even look at possible new artists. Artisans moved as a guiled only recently when i threatened all 2 member allies that i will disband them if they remain in just two members, but this situation looks to me to be over many month old, because for many month i have seen only work from glor, or crap work from others selected by glor, and none of the art i saw now on forum and that i believe its great. Anyway, contact with Glume is allready established, she will send additional work soon, the others were also contacted, but unfortunalty some allready left MD. You can see what i am talking about you can check out the topics in the artisans guild, its a 19 pages topic. All this time the artisans was an exclusive guild for amoran self pride, under the protection of Glor, and i never inteded such a thing. Artisans as a guild was supposed to centralise work of all kind, it was unable to, i am sory but i disband it. I worked so long time with artists directly, i can do that from now on too. Not to mention that only a small fraction of art comes from players and all the rest from artists i hire here. If its not possible , its not possible.

I don't know much about its current status, maybe one of the participants can tell us more @ Shadowseeker: OMG, your contest idea looks sooo similar, but honestly i didnt had it in mind when thinking about this contest. You can still hold yours, you use a map, that makes things actualy better because they are more predictable and someone could find the treasure without having ALL pieces, while in my version with the codes you need to have all codes or you fail. Actualy if you manage to organize such a contest with an actualy DRAWN map, it would be awsome and i would be glad to announce it. p.s. how was that saying with great minds...u told me:P

My email allready has 3 mails form artists that submited awsome work to glor and i NEVER saw it submited to me. The ones Glor submited from popithz IS COPIED WORK, it took me 15min to discover most of them allready on the net made by others, one of them is actually a LOGO of a big company. Amoran, you live in a parallel reality, not MD not RL .... i don't know where it is, but i am sick of it. You remained in Artisans because Glor had trust in you MANAGING things there, but what did you managed when Artisans guild was so ignorant to player artworks and all i got from the artisans were your sweats of "hard work" that consisted of same artworks over and over, and Glor (awesome) artworks. A guild is not for one man show (Glor) and a crying B**** that tries to do everything possible to look like a victim even if its not about her anymore. Unfortunatly i am not updated with all the things discussed here, what i know is that i found several awsome artists around here that never got to me, instead i received bad quality submissions and stolen art. The avatar bounty contest is in a way canceled since i never got a clear image of what was going on, or at least what i heared seems to me different from what i can see with my own eyes. Your samples will be valued right and those of you that realy deserve it will get a bonus , as a replacement for any prizes you might have missed in this competition.

To stop talk about potential Kings, you should all know that in the event that Yrth gets de-throned , there will be a public voting with MORE THAN ONE CANDIDATE to the GG throne. I don't think its fair to pick one just on the reactions now during these events. There is also a possibility that GG will remain without a King. The discussions about a potential new ruler are for now not needed and will only expand this thread to more offtopic comments. The realm grows, political systems inside MD evolve. If untill now picking a leader was based on individual evolution, adventure log or other non public reasons, whatever they were, it seems to me now that the politic system in the realm is requireing a more public vote. Even so, i consider this to be because the way we are used in RL where votes count by number and not by value, and we all know that in RL there are no more REAL leaders but voted leaders. I want to keep this feeling of value within the realm, a leader to be truly a leader, a LEGEND, and not some guy elected because he promised the best things for the future. Some leaders can't be changed, like ME, in case you didn't realised that, but others can, its just the matter of who can. A simple vote count from all your alts and unaware friends you can gather, will never change kings in MD. (in case you keep forgetting i try to be neutral, or seeing both sides, what i just said has nothing to do with yrth or metal bunny but its a general view i have) EDIT: petiton was uploaded, sry for that. @shadowseeker: thats why I will count votes, getting a vote from the enemy is not the same as getting a vote from one of yours. you should read announcements more carefully before you make comments. The new voting system is supposed to be used from now on for such disputes and not just this situation. And yes my vote counts a lot, simple as that, never said its 51% or any given value. If you don't trust my judgement then what else can i say. Its funny how people that slowly lose touch with MD come with comments so allknowing and with this attitude. You probably know about what is going on from one or the other friend thats still here and you hear the situation from that perspective only, look a bit over some topics you are pointed at and that's it. It seems to be a common practice lately to summon fosils in aid of current active events. Everyday i find an additional reason for me to let you do freely what you want and take my hand off MD, your bad luck is that i care to much about it. (and when i say YOU sometimes it means you all, so stop acting affected about the messages thing)

RJ, with me the situation is very simple, either i am neutral or i am not. When i am not i dont ask for a second opinion. If you don't trust my voting system then its your opinion, but i know i do it in good faith hoping for a more accurate decision than a simple count. Considering you are not bothering to argument anything you say and you simply complain, i will not care to explain more why i see it better or what issues i think might appear. When you will want a serious answer, post a serious complain. Everybody can cry for a reason or an othet, its easy, and its very natural to blame the voting system when you don't like the results. And yes, i am supposed to read, understand, and judge your each comment in there... something you probably consider me incapable of doing, since i constantly ignore your ridiculous messages, annoying pms, or stressing emails that keep comming for sometimes good, but oftenly not so good reasons.

I am planing to use this situation to implement a ingame voting system that will be similar with the forum but will cont the score based on your reputation and will also be something to hold as evidence for MD history over time. The player reputation will be eventualy calculated automaticaly but for now i will be the one rating each vote with a value based on who i know you are and the reasons you gave. So the more important/old/influent you are for the realm the more powerfull your vote is. The more good reasons you give, with good logic, proof, etc, the more powerfull the vote. Reputation and reason will count PROBABLY equally, but i am not sure right now. Please be prepared to write your reasons and opinion in a clear form within that voting system, even if you posted it allready here on forum. In case I don't manage to finish that voting system in time, i will use your opinions here on this topic for a decision.

Guybrush, its exactly your type of opinion that makes necro be special. Some can understand it some can't, simple as that. I suppose if you were to be a hunter you would be that type of hunter that would stop in shock and explain to the running deer that you hit partially that it has to die of the wound and not run, while the poor deer will continue to run despite your perfect logic trying to stop it.
