Converting coins into valuable goods requires interaction, you will buy the creatures as the alt account, meaning you will play that account. In my view that is acceptable compromise to allow multiple accounts. Having a 2000 days account with ultra powers wont change anything about how you click the freecredits links. Free credits links are the price paid to get that credit so once you get that credit from free credits it is equal to buying credits with cash. In fact, i am not storing spent "free credits" separately in the db from spent "paid credits". They are the same once you fulfill the minimum requirement to transfer them. no abuse involved. The "danger" you are probably thinking at is that someone/all will start raising alts and flood the freecredits page with invalid votes that will eventually turn into silver for them. My ONLY reply to this real threat is that the activity generated by those alts both on md and on the outside toplists is an acceptable price to "pay" for md in the situation where md is slwoly dieing if you look at the activity. There are ways i will limit alts when the situation will require it, for now, as i predicted one year ago, the "coins are ok to trade" rule is "safe" Maybe i am not to clear to you all, maybe you stopped trusting my judgement, i dont know what happens. Maybe i was away a long time with personal issues but i still believe i can forsee the impact of a rule or change and not only anticipate its outcome but actually use it. After a year of this topic..where is the tragedy? where are the swarms of players that float in free silver as you thought will be?

the issue is that any rule stated before wasn't considering the current situation where alts can basically farm wishpoints. I can not give a final decision on this matter as it is now, but i can issue a temporary rule just so you know what and what not to do. [color=#ff0000]As time passes i will know better what impact the activedays wp have on the realm and If the situation demands it, i will change this rule to fit. If nothing uncommon happens it remains as it is.[/color] [b]Item creating using alts is allowed, but the crafters (or anyone able to create items at the cost of wishpoints) will be requested to be extra careful with this and not to allow anything they consider repeated abuse to happen. In other words, using this with decency, one, two items from your alts because those items are suited for your main character is FINE. Breeding alts to create a repeated source of items through wishpoints received for active days is NOT OK. The decision belongs to those that have this ability, about what is abuse and what is not. It is also their responsability to avoid such abuse and ensure they respect the guidelines i provided about what items can be created and what not.[/b] To bring a level of responsability so to say, I will publicly ask the crafters (or anyone with the ability now or in the future) to specifically ask is the item creation request is for an other account (meaning using alts) or not. They should also base their decision if to create the item or not upon this information. This information should be kept confidential but in case of any trial, if you provide false information, it will definitely mean you had the intent to abuse. I think everything stated here should be clear, yet if it is not, please ask. If noticing repeated item creation requests from what they believe to be alts of same person, the crafters should warn about this rule. I have no itention to trap people to make "crimes" they have no clue about, the purpose of rules are to keep md balanced...lets not forget that. [b]Clarification on alts and item transfers[/b] Also, to say this again: item transfers and COIN transfers from and to alts is OK. If you are confused why..i can try to explain shortly. At the base of having those things stay unregenerable sources. For coins people pay money or trade goods, they are not receiving them for free. The goods they trade or the money they spend are the same regardless if taken cumulatively or individually. The advantage that they could get gold without a shop reset is a benefit considered in the gold "value" already. Items, (except now with the wp situation) where achieved also for something, not for free, so there was never the issue of cummulating "free" stuff to benefit a main. The items are also role dependent, accounts are too, this matters also when considering the impact of allowing alts to hold items...maybe as backup holders. The "trade" value of the items depends on their rarity and importance in the realm but also on the traders skill to sell or buy them. None of these changes if items are stored on one or more accounts belonging to same person (alts).

mp6 is not there yet, i don't think it will happen unless i will have a sudden burst of enthusiasm , one of those strange ones that last short, do miracles, but never finishes them. Most realistic opinion is mp6 will happen middle way in stage 11, based on several things i have in mind for that stage. re-integration of spelldocs is something that is already in progress as one of stage 11 main thing. Stage 10 allready has too many radical changes in it to push mp6 and spelldocs too. Adding the wp for days for example, is a change based on current system. A stage advancement means such changes in the system that entire gameplay changes somehow..like for example adding wish-shop (not just a wish in it, or a new wp source like active days count)

update my punishment suggestion was made without considering the fact that sasha/mcvitie was not at its first alt abuse incident the jail time cant possibly be lower than the first time. in fact my punishments for repeated abuse are too disproportionate so i will let council find a fair way do deal with this matter.

whatever / if / council reacts about this , will have to be considered in place of the next. I had no time to check if council is analyzing the matter so my reply here might be hasty. i believe this is indeed a punishable crime, however i do not enjoy people asking a specific punishment for someone else. "i do not enjoy" means in other words it is highly likely i will avoid giving THAT punishment to someone just because you suggested it, unless its perfectly suitable. In this case i believe this next punishment should be applied after a week from now if council wont decide otherwise: - one week of jail - title changed without any compensation - warning that if an other scene will be renamed in such CARELESS manner the punishment will be disproportionate the renamed scene is a key position not just some alley, therefore i believe she should have asked about it , just a bit to make sure. i also must check if this restriction is clearly stated under the textfield where you set it, and make sure it will be if its not (cant remember how it was made ages ago) I have no intention to put trap rules and catch people commiting crimes they have no clue to be crimes, but also i cant forgive a crime simply because someone cant read properly

Existance is relative, the reality of an observed subject is determined by the sum of everything observing it. There is a difference between living observers like you and me and simple objects. Living observers are gates to reality, repeating and recreating observed reality over and over in what is called Mind. Objects are static observers, they receive information about surrounding things and do nothing creative with it. Everything is an observer regardless if intentional or not. A stone under layers of dirt "observes" the dirt that surrounds it, a plant observes its surroundings just not conscious like an animal would. This is the role, or better said the reason why viscosity forms around a fenths. The viscosity shroud surrounding a Fenths capsule starts at zero and reaches infinity levels close to the fenths surface. In this way, the capsule is invisible to the outerworld, any information transfer between the capsule and its surroundings gets stuck in the viscosity shroud. Have you ever seen frog eggs? That transparent jelly prottecting a central core, protecting life. Fenths are like those eggs, protecting a core of untainted reality. Untainted reality means actually "void", from void starts everything, reaches "anything" and returns back to "nothing" in a cyclic neverending process. Fenths are not cyclic, they are "everything" on the exterior and "nothing/void" on the interiour. In a way, fenth are the opposite of black holes. You can not touch them, they are invisible and slipping throught reality like frog eggs slip through your fingers. Analizing them from outside they seem to be unidimensional, a dot, seen from inside they are infinite. that is a good point there. Also notice the TB map, _east is up_. East is a symbol not a direction too much. A very very interesting point of view is about the symbol being protected in the lower part more than the upper. For that alone you get access to the border research forum area, if you don't have it already please talk to chewett about it.

i am currently thinking to slowly detach the tools from the guilds and keep guilds for other purposes related to that resource, purposes of a more managerial nature. For example if anyone could do a "woodcutting activity/job" then resources will be more open..but what could the guild do then to still be relevant and important... i want to keep the guilds yet spread their current gathering abilities to anyone (limited by wp, skill, etc). One idea is that guild is the only one to assign tags related to its activity, give AND TAKE tools, etc. Monopoly over the role not the resource.

this is the worse thing i could possibly do .. use the forum as my personal notepad. I want to put items on deserted characters back in play. solution: items can have the land mark on them and return to a central dispatch place when their owner goes missing in action for more than x days. some items could be for temporary use directly issue: some items are role or character specific or of great personal value to the owner. Some dinosaurs paid a lot for some items or won them as rewards, and they might not be always active but when they return once a year , it would be a tragedy to find their beloved item on someone else. Trading temporary use items would be a major issue. why: to increase amount of items among active players, lower their value and increase their use. Tool shops could also be an option later where you would go an pick an axe to get some wood, and only after you get enough woodcutting skill you could get into woodcutters guild to be able to gather also other materials or manufacture things out of wood (for example).

The cauldron type items are designed for group use, their results are also something hard to accept and/or use in the current way trades and ownership of items is understood in the realm. What to do when 10 people join forces to put resources into an item that is then received by the cauldron holder? Its a real question. As much as i want things to go this way, and have more and more people work together to achieve things, this is a real issue that needs to be discussed before releasing these items on a larger scale. For these items to work as i want them to work, resources need to "flow" a lot more and be less valuable. You can't expect everyone to have a few gold to spend for some resources just to make a tea with them. I also don't want a single person to provide all resources, hold the recipe, and work alone with the one holding the cauldron (or equivalent item) or worse, use alts to create recipes. The ideal way is to use these items for free or for services in the realm not for coins or such. At least for some of their future uses, they shouldnt be expensive to use. However, because items where so valuable till now (still are!) I can't suddenly do anything to drop resource values too much. I mean..i can..but i shouldn't and won't. EVERYTHING BELOW ARE PURE SPECULATIONS, NOTHING SHOULD BE CONSIDERED 100% SURE TO HAPPEN, THESE ARE JUST SIMPLE OBSERVATIONS AND HOW I SEE THINGS MIGHT HAPPEN. Value is determined by rarity. If something is limited, its value is great, if that thing becomes unlimited its value drops, even vanishes. ( i could write an essay about this subject, thats not the point here and now). What i can do is to try to predict how market will evolve and disclose some of my intentions regarding item rarity, in the hope that those of you that care more about this subject will adjust to the situation in time, before its too late or before new market prices will set in based on upcomming announcements. Items that will be common and i will try to bring to zero cost, or shift towards item2item exchange values and not money/coins value: - resoruces such as water, wood, herbs and any other that will fit in similar category - heat why/how: increased number of heat containers to move heat around as a resource. lower collecting times on tools, maybe increased resource amounts..maybe more independent tools to increase price competition a lot. tools obtainable through wp or achievements. There are many options here, DONT jump with ideas , i have plenty. One is to grant a tool when skill level reaches 100%, that solves many things. Items that will maintain a moderate trade value, including a value defined in coins - resources such as rain water, mineral water, memory stones - second level resources that result from the use of a processing item and one or more of the common goods described above (will be several) - heat stones will push this to the limit. heat stones will be needed for all cauldron items, so the demand will be great but producing them will also be easier than it is now. I can't really place my bet on heat stones evolution yet. - spell stones of common spells. I believe these will lower in price while keeping a certain limit in value. People obtain them but won't use them so fast. Those that have spells to load stones with will continue to do so , eventually stone prices will lower as amount increases on the market. The "normal" flow of resources , as i see them, is in this way: resource gathering ---> cauldron items using heat and basic resoruces ---> consumable items resource gathering ---> cauldron items to produce second level resources (like heat stones) ---> cauldron items to use second level resources and heat to produce permanent things second level resources and permanent things acquired by trade or direct production ---> advanced cauldron devices to create powerful and valuable items *by permanent things i understand normal unique items, tools, non consumable benefits. *by powerful items i mean either rare resources, unique items, creature mutations or rare tools. monopoly will be a big issue if this flow doesn't return the results to players that have no items or activity in such area yet. If people will group into exclusive groups and start mass producing items hoping to find a rich new nabab to buy them , or some lost ancient vet that wants to keep up with things, ...things won't look good. And i am aware people will do that at first. its kind of a rhetoric post because i am "processing" thousands of ways to solve this, but i get things clearer if i share them with you and maybe get valuable feedback on this 7am, sry if i dont make as much sense as i hoped

i am DELETING any recipes submitted in any other way other than how i asked them to be submitted. If its so hard for you to understand a basic subject naming rule, why should i bother implementing your recipe for a test. Also, recipes sent through other methods other than forum pm will be also removed. (no in-game pms, messenger, email, etc) I don't care if you print it and send it by pigeon, i asked for it through forum pm, thats the way it should be. for the initial test i don't want any of you to lose resources if things go wrong, so i will need moderators that can keep an eye on what happens. If a device fails or a recipe dramatically fails in logic or purpose, its pointless for any of you to lose anything. [i am posting an other topic about the use of these items, that one needs to reach a conclusion before i release these new items on a larger scale] -

update: the device is now functional, there are several bugs i am aware of so i need to fix those before doing a larger public test. some of the things it will do that are not ok but are "ok for now" are: - step order is irrelevant - cant remember, lol..but there are and i need to sort out what happens to the resources when recipe fails due to unexpected net failure, browser crash, logout, etc. For now its kind of strange what happens, so there might be a temporary solution to this issue instead of a permanent one for a while. -
