    Try to understand what parts of your MD activity you no longer enjoy to do but you are still doing, and start by changing that. 
    Set yourself only fixed hours and time intervals you wish to be around, and whatever happens simply don't come here outside those intervals.
    If you wish to quit entirely, close up lose ends, decide what people you still want to be in contact with and keep a different communication channel with them (like facebook, discord, email).
    I knew many people that at some point decided to leave, but a year or two later decided they want to return, so my advice is to GRACEFULLY leave and don't do a mess behind you.

    Items in the "roleplay" section of the shop are meant to inspire you to develop a character.  They give both ideas and justification for the things that you describe your character doing in chat.  For instance, saying you crash a zeppelin onto the Gazebo of Equilibrium is going to be dismissed by the other players as ridiculous, but if you say "*covers his head with a handkerchief.*" or "*tickles him with her blue parrot feather.*" these things will be believable, and accepted as real by the other players, ESPECIALLY if you actually have a handkerchief or feather in your inventory.  You might also want to work on a collection of things that you fancy, or that define the character you are stepping into.

    Although popular vote is by far the most common method to become a monarch, other methods are possible, such as becoming part of a bloodline or royal family. Particular game-masters have also become monarchs through design and development of particular domains, notably, Mur of the East and arguably Dark Demon of the Labyrinth.

    In all cases, it is important to note that acknowledgment of the role is usually more important than the role itself; as a wise being once did say: 
    "He who must say 'I am the king' were not, indeed, the king."

    There is one in each land, and one in No Man's Land.  However, access to the ones in lands may well be restricted by the rulers of that land.

    While MagicDuel is a realm with its own systems in place, it has been many years since there has been a court-case, and those who have previously been on the Tribunal are largely absent now.
    There however remain a number of avenues to resolve issues that have failed simple discussion between the parties in question:

    1. Speaking with the representative monarchs of both the plaintiff and defendant's land. As monarchs have some power over their citizens to provide punishments, it is possible that these issues can be resolved at this level.

    2. If it is a game-bug or other abuse of a game mechanic, posting a report on the forum with screenshots can be very useful; this can often lead to reimbursement of that which was lost during the abuse in question when it is fixed, provided that one did not abuse it themselves.

    3. Discussion with a game-master. Ideally, this is not the first avenue of resolution, as the game-masters are overburdened with requests, but it can be effective at doing so.
     
    As a Tribunal has previously existed, it is possible to form a new court system; ideally, players in high standing with the community, and known to be impartial and just, would be invited to be part of such a system. Maybe the reader of such a question could reform this system.

    Mindpower 8 is not a designation used in MagicDuel currently but it has been known to be used for some RL activities.

    Why bother?  You can always get a fresh start with a new character.  The only rule is - you're not allowed to have your different characters, or alts, interact.  If you start fresh, you start at the bottom and are not allowed to benefit from the wealth of previous characters.
    People can even go back and forth between multiple characters, but the rule about using alts to help each other is pretty solidly a NO!
    Never log in again as the old character, and it will remain inactive in limbo.

    Imagine you are on a remote island isolated from the rest of the world, and there are a bunch of other people around too. Unlike in real life, on this island you can not be harmed for real, and you have nothing to lose. You do have things to gain though if you interact with the others, but nothing is really mandatory to do.
    You role is 'public' from day one, and first impression about who you might be is your playername and the way you talk. Before you make your role known, your role will be noticed by the other participants of this fantasy. Participate in all things you can participate, let people notice you and see your skills and abilities, but most of all your character. Be it that you are an uprising villain or a sensitive lady, this is not really something you get to decide, but the others get to notice.
    You have personal papers you can write on your profile (you can find them in the Archives on mainland , or on icons on your detail view when you click your playername in chat). These help a lot to tell the general public in what direction you are moving and what you attempt to be. 
     
    One terrible mistake one can do is being undecided about who they are, but this is a paradox, because you can not know who you are until you know who you are. Don't worry, if you are active , you will become public naturally. Its more important how you will be known by others, not when. I hope this place will help you find who your character is and in turn, to find out, how much of this character you are. 
     
    Oh oh, and i nearly forgot one of the most important aspects of this community. Respect other players, and they will show you respect in return. This, plus being active and involved, are the foundation of anything you wish to build with your role.

    Its worth nothing! Worth is decided by those who value it and therefore by default it is entirely worthless!
    However the common exchange rate for gold to silver is one gold is worth 15 silver.
    It is important to note that some value silver less than this and may set their own exchange rate (typically in the past one gold has been worth up twenty silver as trading a lot of silver is time consuming). It is up to you and the person you are trading with to agree an exchange rate.

    Not much decoration here, but I'm of the opinion you don't need much to get a party going. 
    Just lay a blanket, open the picnic basket that contains wine and bacon and just enjoy...this is a chill place to wait (for years) for those MP3s to direct them to the spear&halberd rack, teach them to use the whetstone and everything.
