1. Happy birthday
2. As a rule of thumb, Mur never sends messages when he bans for cybering, and is usually invisible when doing it. He usually makes a comment about the reason, that's all you get. Grido deals with the rest.
3. This is the point where i miss my mod ability...*hinthint, Wookie* Maybe the easier solution would be balloon voting, some of you surely remember it. A applicant gets a a balloon vote with the nice yellow smiley face balloon and the grey sad face balloon with the question if you want this guy to join your land or not, obviously only visible for citizens. Then it's not the citizens who need to check the capital every now and then, but the guy who wants in who needs to find people and convince them. If you really want to join a land, that shouldn't be too much of a task. If the sum of all votes is less than 60% of the sum of the land loyalty of current citizens who were active in the last 5 days, the outcome is negative, if more than 60% of the land throw their vote in and the majority popped the yellow bloon, they get accepted.
4. I want to vote for finished MP6 and the MP5 creature limits to be put into effect, the combat situation is disgusting with us using all kinds of angiens, drachs and so on, and the 'more recent' = younger than a year MP5 not even getting a chaos archer. I know that it's not your priority, but that's the daily business, and should get fixed.
5. http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/tags/forums/Avatar-Creation/ I'll search for a way to pin that whole group or something...
6. Practical solution would be to copy paste all the ideas into new posts. New post, new reputation, new vote. Then we can do whatever with the old ones.
7. Definitely great artistic skill, but will that work in 80x80, too? It seems a little too complicated to show how it's actually done when you resize it for an item pic.
8. Depending on your client, you might have sent the e-mails not with the same subject line, but as Re:'long subject line'. That puts you on the spam bot list. Delete the Re: before sending, and you'll be fine.
9.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I've never used them before, but I thought the pass papers are only usable for those that held and used them. If thats the case, the loreroot pass papers have no use because they require land loyalty and they are non transferable.
I've said it in another thread, but apparently you didn't read the response to your arguments... Not transferable means that they can't be dropped in the pockets of people. They can STILL be transfered be ITC.
10. You can send them out by ITC, effectively meaning you can give them to anybody who passed willow's guards. Imo, decent enough alt and 'my new friend whom i want to equip with knators instead of aramors '- protection.
11. The pass papers restriction makes perfect sense to me, it allows the people who have been in the land for a while to invite others in temporarily, just like the king spells could. If the people could go into the land anyways, they'd need no pass papers to start with, right? This way, they papers don't get taken by newbies and alts so easily. For example, the Golemus pass papers were constantly gone, and given to random people who then got stuck inside the gates. I hope that's going to be better from now on <.<
12. The needle is marked as Necro, so it needs Necro loyalty to grab it. Neither location nor the group-tag influence that, the item just has a land affiliation on its own. The bugs-person/team knows how to fix that, only took about 15 minutes for all the items in the laboratory, and that was the first time Merge-Magic: Hooray for modding rights Please keep this _Bug Report_ limited to bugs, like items that are in one land and show another land, loyalty requirements that don't work, etc. This is supposed to be as clean and short as possible for the bugs guys to do their work efficiently. I've split the bits about what could be different to another section, http://magicduel.inv...eas-suggestions That'd be the place suited for comments on the work that's being done
13. Been a while since i last saw you... Happy birthday, still
14. First issue, you can't see how much loyalty it requires to take something from the tool box. That'd be very handy. [s]Then second, I, land loyalty 526, can't take any of the tools from the Golemus laboratory. I assume they're still set to the land affliations they randomly got when being designed, which are Land of East and Necrovion iirc. The tools from Golemus there are: Memory Stone Detector Reality Coagulator Sand Melter Brass Gears and Parts They're all grouped at golemus lab, and apparently all not available to Golemus people[/s] Golemus items are fixed, thanks a lot Obviously, i don't have loyalty to other lands. If you find issues in other lands, please make a post
15. Let's call it solved, then. Hopefully we can figure out what's to blame if it happens again.
16. Please make sure to use
[council]
to produce that nice little artwork e-mail address [council], only YOU can prevent spam in our council's mailbox Let us know when/if the thing is solved, please, until then it's still a bug that needs to be addressed.
17. It was awesome to work with you. Thanks for the great time
18. *revamp* A year ago, i've implanted a counting mechanism in this quest, here are the statistics: 925 uniques started at the shopkeeper, 218 more got there a second time on MP 4 or 5 (due to the keys being lost when you go to the next level) 128 uniques reached the end of the newbie bit, 9 got there a second time 12 people claimed the reward for reaching the end of the harder bit Nim and duxie still are the only people with the solution to the angien bit. I don't know if anybody keeps track of when the newbies stop during the tutorial, but apparently no more than 1000, and that's already including some alts, make it past willow's guards, and that's like, 3rd or 4th day. What's that, 1% of the registered accounts? <.< Maybe, and that's just a thought, tutorial should be changed an itsy bitsy bit to be a little more related to how MD actually is these days... and not how it was during the shade war... >.>
19.
Fine, keep Fenrir. Seigheart is being resurrected. That was quite inspiring Later today in the goE, at 20:00. I shall be sacrificing Fenrir Greycloth to Death. Using his Akasha, and the power of my Elemental Amulet, I shall restore the life to Seigheart's body.
Which is using an alt to benefit your main. Would be a shame if you got resurrected just to be a living jailbird instead of a free corpse...

Warning, following post is just showing off that i still remember distribution maths. Ignore it if you're not a maths-freak. Interesting that you remember the hypogeometric distribution at all... The problem you noticed is that there's no fraction bar between those numbers, there's just nothing Those are binomial coefficients, on your handy little calculator that's 'nCr' for 'n choose r', and when you apply that correctly you get 15/162316, roughly a chance of 0,0009%. Strictly speaking, that mustn't be applied to a game of dices, though, because it's designed for drawing things from a finite mass without putting back. Classic example is the box with black and red balls where you've got to draw a few without looking and put them aside. Hypogeo tells you which combination of red and black is how likely to end out of the box. And... all that correct-incorrect bla-bla is just each of us trying to look as if we knew more than the guys posting before, it doesn't really matter if the chance is .8% or .5%, that's just a theoretical game for those who like to play it
21. Did you zoom in on something and then forgot to zoom back out again? No clue if chrome saves the zooming... Anyways, this is just what MD looks to me in opera when i zoom it to 110%. Everything gets bigger and easier to read, but the chat looks weird.
22. In RL, slaves are objects, unlike persons, who are subjects. They've got very little rights, specially not the rights subjects have. You can see that in roman laws. What you do in MD is more like... employment, actually. It's just called slavery because employment doesn't sound like fun.
23. Udgard explained it already, MP3 that were inside before the restrictions were added could technically stay inside forever. Strictly speaking it's not even a bug, more like something that could happen before and cannot anymore... That'll happen quite often when rules change, there'll almost always be people who have stuff that can't be achieved anymore. Simplest example are creatures that you upgraded beyond the MP-limit before it was introduced, that'd look like a bug to most newbies, too. Closed, moved.
