[/quote] The format would most likely be: "[i][DATE TIME - STAGE][/i] (just like in the announcement list) [i]What the change actual did[/i] (Sans fluff text) It would most likely need to include things like actual hard changes such as your example of an ability change, as well as any punishment cases that set a precedent (although in that case you would most likely be excluding player names as they are not relevant to the specific changes). For example, the case which sent Ledah to jail would be included most likely as "Transferring of coins gained from MD shop via gift credits between alt accounts banned - Transferring of coins gained via other means not commented upon". Whether this would also cite the clarification Mur made in the forums that coins that are earned may be transferred between alts would need to be clarified, as it is not a formal announcement and hence outside the scope of the current job listing. The case of Fenrir Greycloth vs dst, on the other hand, shouldn't be mentioned at all, since it didn't set a new precedent but was just the result of the no harassing rule being carried out. I like the idea, but also agree with Chewett. I think a simple way to prevent it getting out of hand would be to limit the bet to Silver (no creatures or credits, ever in a public bet), and limit the max bet to something like 6 silver. I'm confident that people won't be silly with this, especially since there are no odds multipliers on it (ie, you are betting for a pot, like in poker, rather than betting like in horse racing or boxing where you bet against the odds)

I would be interested in: Research, Seed Hunting, and the Manual Labor involved in setting up a garden.

Well, due to my extreme love of Aramours, I desperately want as many Anniversary Aramours as I can get, upto 5. Sooooo... I am willing to buy them. My standard price will be 2 gold per Aramour, HOWEVER, if you have not transferred the awarded Aramour yet and send me the code, then I am willing to pay 4 gold (I have a total of 20 gold, and I can get 3 or four more easily). Additionaly, if you can prove that the Aramour is one of the first 5 awarded, I may be willing to pay even more (subject to the prior condition, as well as how many of the original ones I already have). Naturally I will be useing the CTC checker to verify how many times the Aramour has been transferred in the past. Of all the people in MD you should try to meet, get in touch with a girl called Handy Pockets. She can normally be found at Awiiya's Way (Another interesting fellow, but he may confuse you for a while ), which is just inside the MDA Gates (Have fun trying to find that, it isn't too hard ) After that, look for Mya Celestia, she hangs out around the Paper Cabin and Marble Dale Park, when she isn't in Loreroot. Sagewoman and Windy are also great people to chat with, if you can find them (They have had RL issues to deal with right now, and have not been on as much) If you can get them to talk, Grido, Shadowseeker, Metal Bunny, Tarquinus, Yrthilian, and Burns (who is actually rather talkative) are some of the more interesting Men around the realm. A few other friendly faces are Manda, BFH, nadrolski, myself (Kyphis), Curiose, Innocence (Although she will confuse you), Pamplemousse, dst... well, basically almost anyone who communicates back with you Far as talking to people though... You can get a lot of useful information from the [Players in Location] List above the chat. Golden names are those there right now (although not necessarily awake - more on that shortly), grey names are those who where there recently but have either moved location or logged out. If the name has a coloured picture on its left, they are part of an alliance, and if they have an * before and after their name, it means they are an LHO (and thus, especially friendly and helpful). Sometimes, when you click on the name of someone who the location list shows as golden, above the players name it will say ~~ Idle ~~. This means that the person is not really there, but they have gone Idle (as opposed to logging out) so that people can either fight them, leave them messages, read their papers (you will learn about these as you play, just ask in chat), or write on their PL. Basically, just like a real world social group, there is a lot of things going on and that you can do, most of which you will pick up very quickly as you go along. Just don't worry too much when you get locked up in the story, that is only a very short section and you will be back out in the world very quickly.

There is also Music at Winds Sanctuary, and a few other locations if memory serves correct.

From memory (READ: have not experienced this, this is just what I have heard), you can get your missing principle by going to an altar that would otherwise grant that principle, and it will give you it when you sacc a creature there (that has enough experience to grant principle raise). Otherwise, get a Wishpoint and Petition Mur/Council (Council would be best)

Yes, a lot of their "buy me, I'm 10% cheaper" sales are stupid, but at times they actually have worthwhile sales. For example, I have gotten Overlord, Overlord Raising Hell, and Overlord II for $4.50 (for all three); and the whole Spore series for $20. In Australia, to get the Overlord games would have cost $30 to buy it second hand, and the Spore stuff $40 for the main game and $15 for the parts pack, then a further $20 for the Galactic Adventures expansion. I also got Plants vs Zombies for $4 instead of the $20 Popcap wants for it. I've gotten things like Fallout, Dawn of War, and the Elder Scrolls for under $10 dollars thanks to steam. Still I'm more interested in finding out how many MDers actually use it.

I was referring to specifically as a product of the burst itself, ie if I activate a burst I will gain X times my VE and X AP (I know the values, but I also know that for some reason the specifics of Bursts is considered spoiler, so I won't post them here) You can certainly get VP from taking someone elses bursts, which is ironically easier than getting a burst most of the time. First, due to its nature of just seeing what peoples opinion of that idea is, the only information it is interested in is Yes or No. Hence why those are the only options. That said, there is also the option to just see the results, so congratulations Chewett, you have your 3 points. Secondly, it is poll only topic because I did not see any reason for there to be offtopic discussion in it. Since it is just a topic to gauge whether people like the idea or not, I am not all that interested in other applications being discussed in that topic. As I stated, if there was a lot of strong opinion I would start a discussion on it myself. At current, with only 15 people having voted and a full 5th of that choosing your missing 3rd option, there is no point to a discussion as people don't care about it. 3rdly, there has been no discussion about values at all. As I said, if there was interest in this idea, I would begin the topic for discussion myself. The most likely outcome would be VP costs of no more than 5K. The point is not to make things so that you have to grind to get them, but so that VP actually continues to have a long term relevance to high end players. Currently all it does is MAYBE slow down upgrading a lot of creatures at once, and even then your more likely to run into AP limit than VP limit. 4thly, you get VE and AP from bursts, not VP. If you want to spout BS about poor form, at least ask in private before making your post, or do you have double standards about who has to ask who for information? I would [i]appreciate[/i] it if you closed this topic and left your commenting on this business for when it reaches a stage that commenting is necessary, instead of just butting in.
