    if you can actually make it relatively easy to achieve for those who have high Wi I think it's a good idea,
    but at this form, in my case 1000Wi+30% would make more or less 140k.
    It'd require more than just walking to gain it back, especially with so few people training in a manner that'd give high Wi.
    Plus it'd be especially hurtful if one realised that all shop credits spent on items that increase Wi were actually buying a disadvantage

    there was once a secret feature, I don't think it's secret anymore.
    (if it's still considered secret, please hide this post to minimize the damage, and accept my apology)
    The Permanent Balance feature.
    Lately I've learned that the feature itself is bugged and it gets permanently inactive when a wishpoint is used to reset the balance.
    That made me wonder.
    Could there be a Shop/Wish to activate or deactivate it after it's achieved?
    I like stats and having win count locked was never my fav.
    Not to mention that being balanced is really hard for honor gain.
    anyway, just thinking out loud.

    Maybe it helps to picture them in terms of up and down on terrain. Water will always flow down, leaving whatever is in the opposite direction as up.
    Of course there could be multiple ups and downs, but in reality it can at most be equal, lower, higher.
    One even older thing in md, was that i always put action id 1 on items taking you deeper in a land.. not 1,2,or 3, just one. I want to keep same qay of thinking when setting heat veins, one way matters the other is just the opposite.
    This influence of ap cost, or if a path is closed by a gate, makes no sense for me when thinking of heatveins.
    You can put a dam on a river to stop the water, (water=heat analogy), and the river bed is the heat VEIN. 
    Dont mistaken veins for the flow, what flows on the veins is sonething else than the veins itself, and here we are setting up the veins.
     
    Thats wverything i have to say on the subject unless specifically asked. Maybe its enough time to reach a decision by this weekend? I don't rush anywhere, i just need to know a plan, and if it requires voting (if you cant reach a decision) or unanimous decision (would be awesone)
    If you need a month to debate, also fine, just lets set a deadline to avoid stretching infinitely, i have other interesting activities for you after

    studying heat veins should reveal this concept that liquid dust is a transformed version of heat, like a reversed polarity heat.
    The veins cross entire realm and reach Deathmarrow (that visually represents the emergence of liquid dust). You could set the veins towards Deathmarrow and forget about reversing them in nc, if this helps, because it still makes sense to consider the transformation to happen at the Deathmarrow and not over entire Necrovion territory.  
     
    I am not even sure if liquid dust is available s a resource yet  ..but i know the plan for it very well, it should be something obtainable from Deathmarrow only,  with one exception in NML via a side quest. As a resource, this should be very rare, maybe with expiry date or other special properties , usable to taint creatures ...and..players.
    Tainting creatures is something initially tested on angiens, but could be extended to any (if we ever get the artworks done), and tainting players is something that becomes more and more possible, considering the Darvin experiment and nightmode.
     
    The are plans scattered over 15years of changes, apparently i am much better at such things than knowing what i did yesterday
     
    update: there are only 4 items with a name related to liquid dust so its not implemented yet, we can go on with the plan

    Perhaps rather than total crits count the scaling would be set to count of a specific crit type.
    For example if I have 40 Walking Trees and just 1 Chaos Archer the cost of recruiting another tree would be significantly affected while archers still remained low cost.
    Ofc, the % scaling could be higher in such case.
    That way collecting different types of creatures wouldn't be affecting recruiting, while farming would indeed be lot harder to do. Especially if the scaling referred to % of player's max Wi. Even to a point where binding another creature of a specific type could cost over 100% of one's max Wi.

    i think a % can work if you making it a scaling percentage. so as you increase your max WI you can recruit a higher number of creatures. maybe that 30% would go down to 25, then 20, then 15, then 10, so it still rewards stat progression.
    if you have millions of WI to start with, making it a flat 30% is just going to feel punishing for having put in all that effort to get there and remove all sense of acheivement for putting in the grind. if it's 30% plus a flat number, then you can only ever recruit 3 creatures , however, if you have mililons of WI, it's going to take you MUCH longer to regenerate that 30% to be able to recruit another, than say a newbie with barely any. the solution to that would be to make WI regerenate as a % , but then again, then tha tjust removes the point of farming WI to begin with, and it might as well be the same fixed value for everyone

    Some thoughts, although I fear mine understanding of the inner-workings of the realm were not quite as those who otherwise shape it:

    In regard to "worldly inertia" - I wonder if a simpler (or at least, singular) term for it were corporeality - that which makes one substantial; tethered to reality, rather than ethereal, that which were tethered to the aether. When one should recruit or upgrade of a creature, in example, or obtain of some armour, one may trade of her corporeality to bring that which she wishes into its own corporeality.

    Of Action-Points - mayhap, the concept may be described by Willpower (or even just Will) - one expends of this to perform of any movement or activity.

    I have a wild thought...vp (value points) is clearly at a concept at conflict with other  things refering to trade/monetary value , such as coins. 
    Vp is not really behaving like monetary value at all, you can't use it for trading, and it doesn't have a rarity based value...it is more like vitality but more static, nothing like a resource.
    How about renaming it and giving it a different perspective to better reflect its behaviour?
    We have heat, thats obvious, vitality, that is decision influenced (think of why i say that), and..vp..that is a sort of anchor into the material, .a ...."worldly inertia" or .."profane fluidity" ..i like both but the first better.
    Does it make sense what i mean? Like this i could integrate with new game sections and give better use for vp..and i could put ve and "vp" at same level of display importance in the interface.
     
    Or is it a change too difficult to accept after so many years and acustomed concepts?

    Oh but MD needed this and quite badly. 
    I am happy people give me feedback on the interface, i qm just not happy that i can't satisfy everyones taste with it 
    To make it clear , without flashless interface MD would have permanently died in just a couple of months, making it impossible to migrate later. Flash support is being dropped by all browsers permanently, and is already disabled by default.
    Without a wider interface we would have been stuck in a pre 2000 style design, unable to add anything new and usefull to it. 
    Without mobile friendly responsive, interface MD already paid a drastic price losing more than 70% of its audience.
    Without more space for tools and interface, the tools wpuld have been difficult to use, and they are md's future in what the gameplay is, and what things are being created for its players, by its players.
    All this made this new interface absolutely mandatory, and i am saying this for years, i just intervened now before it would have been too late.
    If this stagnates soon, it is already something anyone else would have taken many months of work to accomplish as it is now, and thats no overestimation.
    I don't afford to hire a couple designers to make a look everyone would like, and a coder to code it, and me alone this is what could do, Chew does his part as well, thats it, Period.
    I was hoping to get constructive observations, not the feeling that i disturbed you by creating something absolutely unavoidable, that you think its just my passing mood.

    You make changes as big as this, be prepared for complaints, I don't even think anyone here is complaining, I think they're just pointing out some issues as you instructed them to do. Nobody even asked that you change the interface, you did it on your own volition because of your one of your newfound motivation bursts. This will stagnate again soon, guaranteed.
    Personally, I don't like the interface change and I don't think this is the kind of change that is MD needs right now.

    The popup window shouls be fixed now, at least on the screens i checked (mobile).
     
    I am moving the new interface live today, i tried my best to listen to your complains and fix what i could, i will continue to fix more on the way. I can just hope that after the initial votes the interface became better. You can continue to post screens and suggestions here.
     
    Expect a wave of broken things once it goes live, i hope there won;t be any new ones, but these things never go better, they go worse. I will focus on fixing as much as i can after the move. Chew will be able to resume his work too once its moved live to md.

    Umm ok. I am sorry if you feel that way. I thought there was enough proof in forum pms to go ahead with this trade and I do have a pretty clear record Of not cheating people in trades. But it was wrong of me to presume I suppose. 
    Also... You are getting a great deal. For courtesy sake, maybe you could've discussed in pms rather than choosing to make it ugly over here. I am very malleable when it comes to trade requests.

    Earlier today, My dragon Draconas, accidentally *coughs* consumed some Tequila and after a strange turn of events, started hearing voices! I tried to probe his mind to assess what might be the probable reason for hi discomfort and found out that there was a voice whispering in his head commanding him to drown! I am FURIOUS assuming that this is an attempt to murder him or play with his mind or something more! He has been trembling since then and i have never seen him like this before. Not even when he was youngun... Hence I humbly request the help of this community in sorting out Draco's problem along with me so that I can get to the bottom and uproot it forever!
    1. What the heck is this?
    Ans - Its a Roleplay Quest in which you need to speak to the Player Draconas and find out what happened to him. Be tactful and don't irritate him too much though! He might just get scared or eat you. Both are a possibility.
    2. What do I need to do?
    Ans - Roleplay your way into finding out who or what is responsible for his plight and if there is a way out of it. Then submit an investigative report to Nimrodel (in forum Pm) containing the details of what happened to Draco, What/who is responsible and What you think is the way to deal with it. Include screen shots of your RP with Draconas or any other player concerning the said issue if you feel it is important for extra points! The Report will be judged by me, Sunfire and a mystery secret Judge.
    3. Come ON! you know what's most important!
    Ans. Ah yes rewards. First place receives 3g reward. If there are 5 or more than 5 submissions, then first place receives a 5g reward, second place a 3g reward. There might be a Wishpoint reward too if all three of us judges feel that some player deserves the wishpoint due to exceptional performance. All the submissions will be put up in the forum once the judgment is over.

    Apparently, the word 'druid' is related to 'door'; as such, a druid would be either a gate-keeper or one who opens doors...can someone confirm the etymology?
    If so, the 'keys' would be magic formulae and incantations, and so I got to thinking of compiling a tome of such keys for use in rituals. Such formulas always occult some kind of knowledge.
    So that's the task. Create magical incantations (it's usually verse, which translates to 'rhytm' more than 'rhyme'). Deadline is 'till next Sunday.
    If there are enough, we can compile a tome. The selection process will be supervised by Loreroot elders. Each accepted formula will get you silver, while the best ones have a chance at anniv creatures, gold and spellstones.

    The egg used to reside at Winds Sanctuary. It was quite happy there aside from some people persisting it should be turned into an omelet. These people enlisted the help of the Shades to try and achieve their evil goal. They, the Shades of Necro, sucked the souls out of hundreds of Aramors thus leaving them empty. Using a strange floating stone they twisted these souls into an energy beam, which they shot at winds. But their aim was slightly off which caused the egg to bounce away and luckily it landed on this tiny island in the middle of a lake. The reason it didn't break as well its floating is of course residual soul energy used in the shot. Some of which it must have absorbed. From this its easy to deduce that Angien are one part aramor, one part shade and one part parsley which the pre-bellians prematurely added to it in anticipation of their omelet.
