3. My mustache is older (33) than the average MD player, so I'm gonna pass on this one... though I have bought 3 copies of the Big Book on prostate cancer and given/loaned them all out.
4.
What do you mean by ? If this will not be retroactive then it loses its purpose! This is supposed to be a way to reward for the loyal (that's not really the correct word but stil..) players and stimulate the new ones. After almost 3 years of playing MD you can bet that I will NOT find an incentive in getting some WPs the same way new players will get them. Or better said: the same time.
YOUR purpose, maybe. The game needs more magic, and more incentives to stay, but does it need more perks for those already addicted?
5.
Of course they should be retro-active! That's the whole purpose of it. Burns, you're right. But maybe some restrictions can be put for those achievements. After all, a difference between mp3s, mp4s and mp5s should be made. Currently the only difference is the xp loss at mp5. This needs to be changed. And maybe start with those achievements. Let me give an example to explain better:you're eligible for 3 WPs but you're mp3. You should NOT be able to get those 3. You can get 1 or maybe 3. You move to mp4, you get the 3rd one. And so on. Of course mp5s should not be restricted at all. Also, I hope that Wish Shop will get new features soon. Otherwise we'll have too many WPs and nothing to buy....ok..nothing too useful to buy
While I am all for more magic in "Magic"Duel, making this retroactive would be horrible for the already unbalanced system. I agree that these points should also be linked to MP advancement, as we need more incentives to move up. Why should having multiple accounts with spells be alt abuse? Abuse occurs only when accounts interact. If we're really worried about this, restrict these special wishpoints to a shorter list of user-type spells, like the MP6 list. Creating these new spells would pad out the wp shop nicely....
6. Yes, I'm talking clickables. Used to be you could only type the password and hit the "speak words" button. Now if you've been there before, as you type a password you've used before, it prompts you with a drop-down box. If you use this short-cut, code does not execute properly, as the password resets upon first pass of the code with input button.

8. Oh yeah, this is something I asked for. It will be used for my quest prizes.
9. If you manually enter a password and click on the button, the code cycles repeatedly the old way. If you accept the drop-down prompt by arrowing down and hit return twice, then the first time you hit a form button, the password resets and you are dumped out of the code.
10. Appears to be fixed. Thanks. Time to close this?
11. So would it be appropriate or not for the MDA Envoy to MB to participate in this forum? If so, "Fyrd Argentus", Envoy to MB.
12. Maybe I'm not doing this right, but..... for what it's worth (as a new MP6...) Half of my worshippers are either people I don't know, or I know are senior to me in active days. I have developed relationships with most of my adepts. However, most of them are also advanced enough that the MP6 spells really don't do much for them. And of course they had to pick a protector back before I made it to MP6...... Mostly, I am pumping healing spells into MP3's that I do not (yet) know. Now, I see this as an important function. I see people "voting" with their adept status for the people who do the most healing as being a good thing, and in that sense, Kyphis's "list" idea makes some sense. I do feel the need to support other MP6's (keeping 30 active adepts is HARD - more than half of mine are inactive), and I see nothing wrong with shuffling around a few willing adepts to keep as many of us out there healing as possible....
13. You really can't idle in the Fair Fight Zone thing -- it is a very intensive activity that takes all your attention. And you DON'T know what you are going to get to fight - just the size limit.
14. Well I don't think you're missing anything, in that I don't think the next chapter is written yet. Unless you want to advance to MP6. The MP6 story reads "!!!under construction!!!". I'm guessing they are busy constructing....
15. For the record, I started the Fair Fight Zone concept long before I met Pashweetie and it really can be fun and engaging. "Same VE" rituals makes it a challenging game on a level playing field, and I drew a number of people into it. I think it is a much more "real" training concept than GGG ever tried to be, or Fight Club ever got close to. Main problem is it takes a number of interested people to get "critical mass" to make it work. I had other things I needed to do (quest writing and real life) so I recruited Pashweetie to lead the bandwagon, but this has not been sufficient (yet?). The old GGG problem of "protected" status I believe is solved by the fun of the challenge, and an appeal to pride. You say to the exploiters, "of course you can beat my 5K ritual with force, but are you clever enough to beat it with another 5K ritual?" It does become an engaging game..... All the "rules" about how to account for tokens and sliders also gets a bit confusing, but once you get the basic idea, it's straight-forward to add embellishments.
16. I had horrible lag until I downloaded SUPERAntiSpyware, which removed about 15 trojans from my computer. Everything is much faster now...
17. I continue to see no xp credited for things killed by Angien energy burns.
18. Okay, quarantined Winhost, already had adblocker plus and it did nothing, McAfee said I had a trojan it couldn't do anything about, so downloaded SUPERAntiSpyware. This thing found 15 trojans and 200 cookies and wiped them. Now, MagicDuel is fast and responsive, no more weird lags.... A caution - it reset my proxy addresses and I had to juggle that to get back on the internet. I still am getting these extra windows popping up, but..... at least you see them. I think we can close this. Thanks for the help & suggestions all.........
19. It is now possible to assemble the crown jewels without ever solving a "weird phonetic riddle". Everything but the hut and mirror have been put under password so I don't have to keep refreshing all the clickies. Try "Look" everywhere that does not have a more -- meaningful -- password ....
20. Okay, when it chokes per before, I reboot my machine, reboot firefox. I can immediately get on websites such as this one. I can't get on the layout.php link that would take me directly to my former scene -- okay, you could argue it is a graphics/flash player problem related to the heat display.... BUT - I can't even get on www.magicduel.com --- the start-up screen. This can't be a graphics/flash player problem. Somehow, the magicduel website is locking me out from time to time. 5 minutes later, I can get on.
21. Hmm, my work makes you want to vomit. I'm not sure how to take that...
22. Okay, now neither bird auras nor lvl 1 imps boost lvl 1 imps. This has definitely changed! I'll believe I was wrong about BP's but not this. Was my old test during a bug, or is this now a bug, or has there been a deliberate change?
23. Ok, my bad then. Sorry. Please close.
24. At least they don't boost each other. Did I miss another announcement, or is this a bug?
25. Thank YOU! The story does not end here, it is just the beginning....
