Hello everyone! I am hosting another quest for the Anniversary! This quest is all about waking up one morning with no idea what happened the night before! (Some of us have there several times) Now it is going to be a little something like a murder-mystery style thing. I am going to give each player who registers 3 clues. Players can share clues. Players can also share fake clues. However, there is going to be an "actual version of events" that happened. Each player should submit their version of events to me via forum pm at the end time. The player who's story is closest to the real thing (by anonymous double-blind judging), shall win! (this is why you can share clues, but every clue you share with someone else makes them have more total clues, thereby giving more information about the story.) 1 WP for the best submission (either creative or closest to pre-determined story). Anniversary creature for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, if 2, 4, or 6+ players participate. PLEASE PM me in the same message I sent you your clues in. This will reduce the sheer bulk of messages in my inbox. BUMP! Also clarification, as I've had a few questions about it: EVERY participant shall receive something in this quest, with the single stipulation that they complete it on the account that they want the reward on.

Methinks that this suggestions does have a lot of merit. Perhaps you would be willing to show the rest of us an example of it?

Agreed, A25 being shown as MP8 could be seen as misleading. Unless, it is part of the great plan that all players should strive to reach this level. also, in lieu of LHOs, this being present on map means they are more likely to be distracted from using those selfsame A25 tools, but perhaps could be conversed with by players who need help, such as new players

Means they have A25 tools and have them open, if I'm not mistaken.

If no other MP3 participates, then I guess as long as you complete the quest you get a reward! Seems like a good deal to me. The same would be true of other mind powers. I split rewards into MP tiers to try and foster greater involvement from the respective player bases.

That's why they get their own reward if they participate! I want to see who wins!

Greetings everyone! Do you like a story? Do you like a race? Do you like a quest on the anniversary? Do you like creatures that you can't get your hands on anymore? If so, then keep an eye out for this quest: He's Lost His Marbles! The Willow's Shop Keeper has lost his memories and marbles! Help him get them back! This quest will be really hard for MP3s, and probably really easy for most MP5s. No alternates may participate. This quest shall take you throughout the whole of MD! It shall take you into every land (if you're MP5) and you will learn a little bit about what each land has meant to me! how to start: Say a greeting to Willow's Shop Keeper requirements: Not in jail, dead, or on Gateway Island, able to roam mainland freely rewards: Broken into MP tiers, 1 winner for MP3, 1 for MP4, and 2 for MP5-MP7. Winners will get various creatures, gold coins, and possibly a WP. An Ancient Lorerootian Archer is in the mix as a reward! (my boy has 4535 age, lol). Every participant shall receive 1 silver if they complete quest. Quest is over on May 5th, no longer on April 25th. Please use the time wisely. The race is almost exclusively a clickie-quest, though there are segments and work-arounds that are not clickie-based. You do NOT need to register on this thread. I will be post here, in a calendar event, and through mood panel to discuss when race starts once I have timeline of anniversary. If you have questions, you can forum pm before race starts. As of 5/7 this quest will remain open. the above mentioned rewards will not be available. Other rewards will be given as they come available. Update June 1st, 2020: quest is ready for permanent launch, just needs permanent rewards.

When I walked into scene with 100 heads a cool sound was made by MD. fork was lit up. When clicked on no dialogue box was brought up. It opened inventory. Would not show stat increase until I refreshed entire page. I use chrome. Did not occur for Zetsuei 1 minute later. He uses edge. He got the message about stat increase.

Can confirm research submission error as well. Regardless of research title, research location, or other variables that I could figure out to test.

The UI still says I have been told by multiple players that the story still exists, just not in the same form, and that in no way does completing a chapter of story mode trigger this skill increase during the check when you advance. If this is true, I move that it at least be hidden (or removed to save code) until such a time that it is true again. I would hate for players to not advance, seeking to boost stats to have no pay-off in the end. Edit: Chew and Mur not sure if this goes here or in "Work In Progress" it can be moved wherever, just wanted to document

Sorry, I should have made clear, I meant I liked this solution only for feature where you have map names, I don’t know if it is possible or worth coding if it only works for people who just have the map unlocked. But map names is farther in. nevermind my position sounds dumb that I’ve written it. Posting so you know I read it

I like that it wouldn’t tell you MP. It would reduce power of feature. Also with so many people in one place I think it should mess with the land a bit, that many mind powers and it warps how people perceive others. Makes them less likely to tell how strong they are. This solution is elegant and seems relatively easy to implement.
