It seems like some people can't see any link for a md shop reset. I'm not sure if this is a bug or they have to meet some requirement first. They requested a screenshot, since I told them I can reset. Removed Image as its not needed - chewett It's at the bottom of the page in the text under the orange bar, where you see the "here." Does anyone know why I have it and others don't? And how many others don't have it/do have it? EDIT: clarified

The elemental doesn't ever target all. It targets multiple.

I don't quite agree; narrowing down my answer to one specific clue rather than any clue was sort of like excluding all any other clue, which is wrong. If I had been more clever, I would have figured out that the problem was how specific my answer was. ;P I think the 2 guesses thing was good enough, and I don't believe the winners were just lucky. Perhaps there were several possible answers that fit, but "clue" fits maybe better than the others. If not, at least pretty well. The problem I have is with number 2. Unless I'm mistaken, that's basically just rituals you're storing, and you can't store rituals in the world of magicduel. They're patterns that are impressed into your creatures minds by the player, and when the creatures die they forget everything. Magicduel is more realistic as opposed to what game it would be if the concepts of the magicduel world and the game itself weren't in harmony. Maybe you're right, and the little annoyance justifies a disconnect between the two. Personally, I appreciate it.

A template? I'm not exactly visualizing what you mean, or if I am, what I think of is basically a ritual. What would be the point of the ritual breaking if you could just rebind it without relearning it? I understand that it can be repetitive and annoying, but changing it would mean changing the concept of the magicduel world. As for myself, I don't mind much at all, as it makes the game more realistic. Magicduel is fun, for me.

Yes, I agree, and I think a lot of others do too. I've heard complaints of this since I first joined. Unless Manu disagrees with allowing rituals to be made without a target, there isn't much reason not to do it now instead of later. It does affect gameplay significantly enough and frustrates a lot of newbies. About the rituals breaking, that's because having it another way would be conflicting with the concept of the bond between creatures and players this game has. Besides that, it serves as a sort of punishment for losing.

The two extra orbs are useful if you forget to store heat. 8D Besides that, I think heat will have other uses like with protector spell casting.

I dunno.. :/ Who's to say that this route is better than any others that will be completed and have access to chapter 3? Manu said that it was "not much and just some took that path" in the news update when it was released. I'm also not sure if I should give hints when others didn't have the chance to try use them. Well, it's up to someone else if they want to give hints. There are actually quite a few in mp5 who have access to ch3.

Oh, wow, that actually fits pretty well.. Thing is, that doesn't really have gills, although it's closely associated to something that does. But that's not what I had in mind, so it's not the best answer. Creative, though.

lol.. only mp5 players who took one specific route has access to chapter 3 at this moment. Chapter 3 will be released eventually for all routes (that don't end in chapter 2), so don't worry.

What about female mythological beings? Like say, female satyrs, griffins, centuars, dyrads, sirens, hags, Skylla, ect. I think they'd fit in well with magicduel's theme and they'd appeal to males, too (or at least to me). Well, I suppose we could do the fairies and flowers, but it'd probably be better if they had a whimsical or dark flair. Magicduel isn't really cute.

Well, it'd be useful, but it'd be work. For myself, I usually name the ritual its nature, i.e.: multiple/tree+daimon, chigrasan, grasan, CA, treetest, treedef, heal ele, singleatk. Mostly I use the name of creatures, what purpose it will serve or the targeting of most creatures in it. Although it doesn't include all the information what you suggested would, it helps me differentiate and I can usually remember the specifics if I've been using them lately.

@Pi, lol.. I guess (: Though usually when a new mecha series comes out I'm more interested and am more likely to check it out rather than another release. Ehe. Those "REAL drills" could be considered roughly cone-shaped, but we can forget about that.. for now. Anyway, drills can be used to create like in woodwork, although I was talking about the unique design which is able to serve the function of destruction. And I'm pretty sure Lulu just posted about Summon Night, since she asked me the name of it >_>; But playing with drills as my choice of weapon was pretty sweet. I would use a drill weapon in an MMORPG, assuming it wouldn't be made a lot weaker than other weapons for some reason. They'd probably be pretty hard to control if it's a game where you can do combos or something, but fast and relatively powerful. What were you getting at? I'm not sure what you mean about imbalance, unless you're thinking about all the people who would pick drills over something archaic in comparison like blades, blunt weapons and firearms.

Ahh, I want to reply. *wrings hands* Mecha is common, but that's because it's awesome. Ignore the cliche and thoughts of unsavory series which undermine the genre. And drills! :/.. Can't you sense the power and beauty expressed in the curves of the metal shape and speed of its rotations, the creativity in the destruction it can make? I can't really convey it, but you should understand innately. One day you should get yourself a drill and feel it thrum in your hands.. maybe then. Alright, since I feel so guilty about writing that when the topic is entirely something else, I think it would be pretty interesting to have diametric principles: entropy, syntropy, darkness, light.. dunno what for the lonely fifth X) Maybe balance?

And here I was thinking you were someone who didn't watch anime. Mecha + drill = ultimate appeal to the heart of any man who had a proper boyhood. I chose Darkness, Imagination, Time and Transposition because they were linked to each other in the descriptions n_n; I think a lot of others did, too. I think Entropy would be really powerful, though, just because of what it represents. *wants entropy*

Nonetheless, I see their very nature can carry out my intentions, although they aren't recognized consciously. What are you saying?!
