I tested what i thought, That now there is a max resource the bug is fixed and it looks fine Attached are two screenshots of before harvesting, and after. The water had not been touched since the initial 0.25, to which i waited til today, and harvested. Is there something i am missing Peace or has this bug been fixed as supposed? Because to clarify, initially there was no max, Now there is a max, but you still claim there is something wrong with it? http://storenow.net/my/?f=3679 http://storenow.net/my/?f=3680

what about it erasing the next 15 steps? because until you use such a device, you are still visible, but after using it, it would allow you to get away quickly?

I think the restriction based upon land was an interesting one because as Rheagar said, if someone is not well known outside their land, then surely they do not deserver said award based on what it is? How can the best questor, be the best questor if they are only known as a good questor in their land. I feel this new facet of voting means that it removes a bit more land biased so that it means a person has to be well known in lands other than their own.
Also, don't quote me on this, but I'm fairly sure that GG and Necro don't have much resources to speak of. There's mineral water in Necro, and that's all I know of.
GG has been making money off the shared items they they "graciously" sell to you to collect resources.

If it stops over time, Then essentially it just becomes an ability that "slowly charges up" the attack, until it reaches a point where its effect is stopping, but continuing. I think some kind of creature that makes the longer a fight draw on, the more damage and therefore easier to win quite intresting.

No one remembers you fossil

I would agree with this sentiment. Also, perhaps add on the addition that if they are nominated in the first year, they cannot be re nominated (since they were known enough to be nominated in the first year)

It would be credibly amusing say if a MB monarch made a land law that meant you had to donate silver if you wanted to come into MB if you were from another land. Becuase then although its a land law, you are forcing people to abide by then. And thusly if they broke it, banny banny banny. It makes sense not making land laws apply retrospectively since then if a citizen from another land is causing a problem, you talk with their leader and ask them to make them stop or something. If they have no land, then you cant do too much but then they also have the disadvantages of not being in a main land. However as of late, you have the needle, you have the heat vein items. I would be surprised if a monarch couldnt raise an army of 5 or 6 to push and hurt some of these "abusive" people on your land. Espically since you would have a land bonus, wheras they wouldnt and would "likely" be hampered by viscosity.

The whole bug with this, was that there was no max set. Are you talking about this peace? Currently now there is a max. And i was under the impression resources under 1 are meant to be decimals? (didnt mur say that somewhere?)

Does it? i dont know how it works, I would have thought 0.25/ was a bug, and that now it has a max, it will work?
I am a relatively new player and have never given the alt question much notice. I guess I knew that they were used by some players, but that was it. But after reading about it ( I read the former and now locked topic) I must say I am a little disappointed. No, it goes further than that. I am a little shocked. First of all it is rather absurd to state that you gain nothing from using alts. Of course you do! Even if you use them fairly you gain information that others don't. You can be at two placed at once where others have to choose. But secondly: why are you using alts? Do you find this game so boring that your main cannot fill the time? That is really something to think about. I have heard somebody say that he/she was using alts to "find other things out" and I can even proof that because it was sent to me in a pm. Why would you find other things out if not for benefits? As a player without alts: I'd like to know with whom I'm talking. I hate the thought of speaking to two people in game that are one and the same. As I stated before: I never gave it much thought, but now I'm thinking that maybe I should get myself some alts too. I'd like to find some things out too.
Alts can have beneficial and approved uses. I spend some time doing bug tests, and sometimes these tests involve my account getting banned... repeatedly. I have numerous alts that are specifically used for this purpose (you can see this topic). In my case, if you are talking to any of my alts, they are myself, They dont have any other role, and i use them as if they are my main. Do simply to things my main shouldn't (again read topic). As for getting alts specifically to find out more infomation, i agree this is wrong, And dislike it when people try and play lots of alts in many different lands. Choose one role, and stick to it lol. Each time people create another, they start again with no real history.

And with that final, rude and offensive note. This topic is closed. Kyphis, be more civil next time. As usual, recreate the topic if you care, Make it logical, with a decent debate and not just insulting each other or everyone will be recieving warns.

Im not sure this is a good idea... legally or morally. Posting locations of where you are living, even if its only the generic town... personally i feel it would be much safer if this data was only shared between people who are likely wanting to meet up, versis the entirety of google ect... Is this just me, or do others feel similar?

i have recently reset and it didnt re appear. Also, if you have the item in the shop because you already bought it, you need to buy it before you reset or it will appear again. Doubt this will be fixed as those accounts with it after they have already bought it are "bugged" accounts, which will never happen assuming that the item doesnt re appear.

0.25/1 atm, guess it was fixed
I hadn't thought about this prior to dst's post, but Eon's (and possibly everyone else's) use of alts might be considered an abuse because of the implementation of viscosity. If Eon walks to a scene on which his alt previously walked, it requires less AP and makes movement easier...a DIRECT benefit. In this way, every player's use of alts likely provides benefit to the main if they visit the same scenes and those scenes have a viscosity greater than 0. I think there are some ways in which this could be dealt with, but none are foolproof or without drawbacks. It's possible that two characters of the same player could be prosecuted for being seen at the same scene within the timespan of a viscosity recharge (I forget if it's 30 min or 60 min). However this would not take into account that a player can visit a scene many times to lower the viscosity (unless I am mistaken and viscosity can only be lowered by each unique player per recharge period). In this case, the recharge period would be irrelevant. One or more alts could lower the viscosity of a scene significantly, paving the way for a main to walk where they want. I'd like to know what everyone thinks about viscosity and alt abuse, or if there has been any word on this from Mur or the Council. Mods, feel free to move this post to it's own thread if you feel it merits discussion.
One unique player can lower the viscosity by one, it seems to do some kind of alt check or something, because i was unable to low the viscosity multiple times with multiple alts within the same recharge period. However, if my alts ran ahead, it would lower it partially, but i found that it did not make any big difference to moving around due to the number of alts needed to make it effective and/or noticeable.

tried it before, it does indeed buy more of the item, but if you have already bought the item or there is no more, it just reloads the page and shows the item shop again. Make sure you click continue before doing anything else...

at one point it was legal to have 7 creatures in a ritual if i remember correctly. No recent reports of similar happening.
-
This is only one case of it happening. I dont see a reason to remove all of it. Is it possible you just lost the contents? Did dst actually confirm its her's? from speaking with her she wasnt sure...

All AP related functions are subject to viscosity and land loyalty. it takes 1 AP to open the alter, Minus 80 for the viscosity and another -83 for your land score. This is independent of sacraficing creatures completely. When you sacrifice a creature you use 20 AP each time. If you do not have 20 AP it will still sac the creature and reduce your AP to 0. This ability to sacrifice creature without the nesscary AP is a feature. A Feature, which is likely to be older than most players here
-
its been like this for years, mur has even stated that its not a bug being able to sack crits with 0 ap.

previous situations both parties have been considered guilty and no action had been taken, look at Jester Pample (i think) or various dst Fenrir cases
