I agree that more tools is what I as a creator want: WP codes, other prizes, script features (although i have to try the existing ones first)...
But isnt the idea that you get them yourself and do the quest? You can already get WP codes and prizes such as crits, silver and items And if you havent tried the script, take it from me, Its much more than many will use. Basicly its php but to make it intresting a few more functions need to be added.
I suppose that this is a needed step for some people, how ever I would like us to review the steps needed to achieve post moderation. If we need three warnings to achieve post moderation, shouldn't it be for the same mistake? For instance, if I troll a fat person over and over (ie I berate them for being stupid and explain why but also suggest ways of doing it better) and recieve two warnings, but I get a third warning for posting spam. I don't think that I would need post moderation, at least until I troll the person one more time since spam isn't nearly as bad as trolling fat people. So, in conclusion. We need three strikes(for failing to change our ways concerning a certain misbehaviour) in order to be post moderated by failing to listen to the previous warnings.
currently i dont warn people for one offence of spamming. because everyone spams a little. After a continual bout of spam i then warn the person For example this person was warned on 08 December 2009 - 06:23 AM and was told of the punishment if they continued to spam. Then after a lot more posts i then gave them a post moderation and another warning as it was obvious that they hadnt learnt from the pm i sent them. For spam i use this because spam doesnt nesscarily need anything done about it immediately, If there was a lot of it then i would consider some action. Rudeness on the other hand currently uses a three strikes system (although it seems we always have more) Where the user is warned each time they are rude (to a level that is unacceptable) then once the user has reached this level they will have some form of punishment Any action taken on an account is trackable on every member so a moderator can see what warnings they have been given by whome. This allows us to track what the user has done, so punishment will incrment based on overall account activity. But it will vary based on what the user has done. For example if they user has been abusive a lot, they might be banned form posting for a period of time, Or if they spam a lot, Have a moderator Approval As with all punishments they can be discussed with the person who has punished you. They will always contact the user to tell them their punishment. And if you ever feel that a punishment is unfair then you can always contact me or another mod.
  3.
Perhaps a rule for the rpc's for every 100 awarded 5 grade(valued to be a really good quest) a wishpoint for themself., like this their stimulated to make more an better guest(not their not making any now, their already hard enough:P) and to award a lot of players.
Rpcs? Rpcs have been disbanded for at least a month. And rewarding them based on how many they give out will just mean that they would give out more to increase the chances.

Over the years we have seen a number of interesting ways spammers have tried to market anti-lol pills and other such medication. But the worst form of spam, is from your own community. The main form of it here is when people post useless things so that they can gain more posts (commonly known as posthunting). Here is an example of posts that have have been deleted. This selection is only from one user, in the past week. "yep as burns put it" - this was on a Q and A thread, this is a pointless addition that doesnt help anyone Non appropiate responses to a topic as they dont contribute anything: interesting topic, lol KILL THE SKILL DAMAGE!!! mmhhmm *laughs* "that will be hard to buy from ppl" - it doesnt matter how "hard" is it to get, that person was wanting to buy it... "mmhhmm thats gonna be hardto buy" - then after i deleted it, he reposted a similar post "mhhmm i always wanted lho but way way way too busy now adays >>" - this was a lho recruitment thread, why post saying you didnt want to be one! Posts such as these do not further the topic and are unnecessary. The user in question has received a 2 week Mod Approval. Moderator approval is when before your post appears to everyone it will have to be approved by a Mod. This is a hideously slow process as we all know the mods dont actually do anything, so can be up to a day before your post is approved If you are unsure about a post. Think, does it contribute something? posts like "KILL THE SKILL DAMAGE!!!" followed by a sensible post is allowed if it contributes to the topic. But just "KILL THE SKILL DAMAGE!!!" does not in itself add something different. If you are unsure about anything, or want to discuss something with me, feel free to pm me.
  6.
Perhaps those who wish to participate have to sign up before the hc starts. So on the 13th I sign up for hc. My stats are randomly changed. (lower or higher, but falls into the average of those participating) this way noone is over powered and those who wish to be in the hc can be. The winner of the hc gets the king of hc medal for a month. They then have to defend their title against others. Tell me what you think...
Doesnt this make it pointless to train up in this contest? since anyones stats will be random, then any training you put in for specific rituals and such will be pointless. I am one of the weakest, but i dont really want to be booasted just so i can play something. i have worked to be one of the weakest, and would prefer if people like me who are lazy didn't get a ticket to win such things because of "fair" rules. Its unfair so that people who train will win, which is exactly how it should be
  7. because the one i believe that is correct has already been posted love
  8. Uk is a very small demographic (side note TEAM BRIT!!!) so its rather hard to arrange a meeting, i know of...max 10 uk players? And most of them dont read forums, try contacting them ingame.
  9.
(How about copying the whole story in every post and then add the word you want? You could see the whole sentence this way and add something that is grammatically correct, instead of random babbling..)
you can if you want, but post size will expload.
  10. All previous messages have/are being scanned for offending ones, the offending ones are being sent to mur As for the future, i believe either this will be done regularly, or a new feature will come out so that people can report the player logs.
  11. I work, pretty much all the time, im in the south east, about a 2hr train journey from london, but dont think i will be able to make anything really due to my strange working hours.
  12. Happy Birthday Renta!!!!!!
  13.
Story So Far Once upon a branch in Edinborough, was Bunny that died. He ate poisoned cookies that were from Mur and couldn't find antidote because Grido killed the wookie that had a bottle of it. But then Chewie asked about his Wookie rash that had come from Uranus then Grido made poopy from Chewie because iptools is kissing it repeatedly. After some acp will be great but Lib wont have it going till death do us a refuse on Wednesday DeathRay pooped everywhere but, that disgusted nobody had it anthropomorphized it so spam DeathRay's testicultastic promotional documentary quasi-religious known as dumb imbecile the LHO-inquisitor sniffs Granos's fetid Aramor. 14.
as far as i know there is only one flash player..... have you tried flock of sleipnir?
basicly there is only one flash player, adobe flash player But different browsers will use different versions based on what they support For example. nix OS's use Flash player 9 while windows uses 10
  15. I hope you will be ok and come back soon, MD wont be the same without you!
  16.
i'm also using opera sometimes, don't do that, half the things fail LOL
Now, i only use opera (cept when i use ff for my "scripting's" *cough* bugs *cough*) and iv never really had it "fail" once in a while you find a bad website that doesnt work, but since there are so many speed, performance, and macroabilty bonuses to opera, Dont use it
  17. This may be a point where some browsers render it differently, since its in an iframe, will it dispaly over the "main" page does it do this with all browsers?
  18. Its a Game problem, not a browser issue, the error comes up and that stops it giving you the correct Ve/vp and there is nothing we can do about it till it is fixed
  19.
I was thinking something like 3 - 6 - 9 - 12 months. Regular intervals. (the point isn't that they're 4 WP, is that they're given at regular intervals)
Thats what mur was suggesting... But he was more suggesting 6 12 18 24 or 12 24 or just every 24 months...
  20.
You have two different Drachorns? you can pick wich you want or is it chance based..?
A rustgold Dracorn is purchased from the MD shop and is colored in A Normal Dracorn is attained from certain people who can give them out (currently no one (except mur) i believe)
  21. Its a nice idea and feature but im not storing anything in it as it is so unpredictable, you do one thing wrong and you lose everything, and sometimes you randomly lose things...
  22.
You can contact me via email (herly84@gmail.com)

Just to know....is the up above already in work...no one ever contacted me and im ALWAYS looking at the md community(though i dont play like before).....btw my messenger is lf-br1fan@hotmail.com
You have to contact mur and he will set it up... But i know for a fact that Aelis has contacted mur recently about it, i would pm him so mur doesnt get a wave of emails.
  23.
Well, there will be just one down side, indeed everyone's first account should count als main, meaning that only people who use another account than their first will lose a small benefit. I's just a choise you can make, no one forces you to use another account..
The problem is, is that people anyone who has shared an account with anyone else for any period of time will be an "alt" of someone else, i think my account has been used at 5-20 different locations, let alone my dynamic ip that will throw off the "alt checker" And, my first account isnt my main, and i dont use him much so it would be utterly annoying to not get the wishpoint, a lot of people have created a second account after they went wrong with the first one so i wonder why it should be penalised Perhaps instead of an automatic wishpoint, make it so you press a button to "ask" for one. Mur can then have an admin page that he see's who has asked along with relevent infomation such as the alt checker, it would mean its automised so he wont have to check the database everytime and he could even give it to someone to do for him. Either way it wouldnt be much work since its going to be every 2 years/6 months per account, and most accounts rarely reach the latter
  24. Happy Birthday Glor! what magnificent drawings you draw.
  25.
My suggestion would be the easiest to implement and an easy way to counteract alt abuse. Age wps would be in a limited Id range. Say 1-2000(not many people will get to many wps from age). The wps would only be useable for certain functions, such as the wpshop. (nothing in there is abusable) Wps available via quests would have an Id above that. So those will Be whole wps. Useable everywhere.
wishpoints will already have an id, so that means then they would all have to be incremented by 2000, And also i think that 2000 will approach pretty quickly, there are a lot of accounts, and a lot of players have 365 days Isnt the point of giving people a wishpoint so that they can do what they want with it? its a bit like giving them a spell and telling them they can only use it for doing one specific thing. I dont think limiting will be useful as there will be less alts abusing the wp age feature than actual players using it, so you make the feature good for the majority. and then think of ways to limit it for the minority
