I completely agree with you, as it takes a bit to load 47 creatures, even with cable. Another option is having a table of info for each creature of a particular type, and just showing each creature picture once. But, I don't think its too important though.

I third this motion. Besides being annoying, its also a pretty good turnoff. I remember when I picked the 24 hour wait period, I was thinking, 'blah...I have to log onto magicduel just so that i can wait another 24 hours for nothing to happen...yaye'. So I stopped playing for a couple days, till I got bored again .

I'm sure the system will change in time to involve more players. It has to, otherwise only the most active will be able to enjoy the games finest features.

Although that seems interesting, it wouldn't work for 2 main reasons. 1. It would be a pain in the ass. In 10 minutes i might fight 2-5 battles. That's 50-100 turns. For 6 creatures, that's 300-600 decisions. 2. Defense rituals would become meaningless. You would have to be there to defend, and that's not workable with the current situation.

So, this only happened once, but when i was attacking a water guardian II, its defense kept on stacking. It was the last creature alive, and was using defense on itself. In just a couple turns it had 1000+ defense.

Same problem here. However, I've used my shop reset, and purchased the +5 twice more, bringing me up to 20, with my max still at 5. My memory is actually quiet bad...if you can't get the +5 after a reset then I haven't gotten it. But, I can no longer get more, so if i could have gotten them i have, because the option is no longer there. Thanks

It's a race to the bottom. I remember Manu said he'd look at player behavior to determine the merits of the new system. Well, if there really is a problem I'm sure he'll notice eventually and change it. Otherwise, us mp4's just need to continue doing what we're doing and eventually there will be a problem that needs fixing.

So, this might just be something that I would like because I'm lazy, but it would be nice to know which mp some is without having to click on them. Maybe, have different colors, or shades of orange, or sort them in order... I don't know. Otherwise I have to click on every name in willow's shop to know who I can and can't attack. Again, maybe it's just because i'm lazy :lol:

Can't Manu just provide some people with the text to the story, or whatever format it's in. Then they can fix it up, and send it back. Then, Manu just needs to put in those changed text's/pages.

So...for the past week or so I've been consistently spanked. Whenever I'm attacked my defense rituals never activate. I'm not a newb or anything, I know how to set a def ritual. Until last week they worked just fine. They have more than 301 vit, they've been set to defense, blah blah. It's as if I don't have any defense rituals. And I've set A LOT, its also not that they were attacked and I ran out. So... Edit: They're working again today. I can't think of anything different that i've done today though. Edit2: I spoke too quickly.... I had 4 defense rituals set up. The first one was activated and defeated. The second time I created a random defense, even though I still had 3 perfectly intact rituals. Going to the ritual screen, i'm told to unbind the first, lost, defense ritual. Makes sense, but then the other 3 are sitting there like they don't exist. Full health all around... By firbran (I did some stuff before taking the screenshot. All of my rits still had 301+ vit)

Yes, I think the best way to encourage winning is to make it easier. Keep the current victory/victorious system, but allow both to provide a win. Make some other difference between them, like whether you get stat gains.

I agree that there's a large disparity in power in mp4, I don't know if splitting it up would help or make things worse... More importantly, it's because extremely hard to balance out my win/lose. Almost everyone in my range at the low end of mp4 has more losses than wins. A LOT more losses. If I keep winning against them I'll get to -500 honor in a flash. I agree, I don't understand how you can have balance in a system that breeds more losses than wins.

Well, I've seen Glaistig get turned into a goat enough times to worry me. @Lulu - I would love to hear another of your tales. Just, try to think it through before you begin, although I suppose its your brother/sister that has the problem of going in infinite circles. The thing that I love about working 24/7 from home, is that I enjoy my breaks much more, even if they're extremely frequent and filled with strange stories about the Ghalen border :lol: .

I cannot win this contest. I really can't, unless I try really really really hard. I would need to weaken a top mp4 players ritual two or three times, and then finally hit em hard. Then, after spending 2-3x my vitality, I would need to defend those heads....with what vitality? Because of the nature of the competition, there really aren't that many people actually competing in each mp class. I think that a competition like this should be accessible to the majority (if its purpose is to entertain and draw new players into the game). Otherwise, whatever .
