1. it is reasonable for otherwise there will be a conflict where more people will be involved, Lorerootians against Lorerootians, majority or not, there are people who value friendship with me more than bowing to a King's wish of banishing me, and who will choose to stand with me. I have said that I won't grudge people who will decide not to fight, it is their right and I respect that, but I embrace all of those who are willing to help the cause. Maybe you assume I have no chances so my point of a duel seems funny to you, well you're wrong. I am a weak fighter, tho I am adept at casting and will do my best, and I am presenting an option to avoid conflicting Lorerootians against each other for what seems to be a personal issue between two people by some. So I challenge Firsanthalas to a duel. Accept or not, you have time Firsanthalas to choose by Wednesday 23:59 server time. If you don't reply to this, I will assume you denied the opportunity to minimize the collateral damage, and chose to hide. If I lose, he can do what ever he wants with me. If I win, council will be made that will be the highest power of Loreroot (King account would only make its decisions real)
  2. thanks for your fast reply.
You obviously have a wrong understanding of what a chain of command is. A king does not need an army to jail a citizen of his land. I understand your point, but it is far from making any sense in this situation. Why i say that? because it seems to me the majority of lorerootians did not riot against their king so the entire issue is more about a few that do not like the decisions of their king.
so what if majority is supporting him? how many times "a few" have started a rebellion against the many? Communists from Cuba had major support at start? hell no. The Cuban capitalists had major power supporting them - USA, who is their neighbour, they had better weaponry, equipment... Step by step they've won. President couldn't just 'injail' them (I realize this is not RL, but MD is working to be as realistic as possible, so bare with me).
When a king uses the jail ability, that person gets out of that land, and by that he gets out of any ally, obviously. The action of taking you out of the ally is not delierate but it is unavoidable by the excommunication.
I understand, tho that shouldn't happen so easily. If he can jail people whenever he wants, is absurd. He needs to attack me in a way, and if he beats me and my supporters, then he should be able to have control over my destiny (even killing). how did he manage to capture me?
Technically, a king can ask for an entire ally to be sent away from his land. It is a "king-dom", the king can and will use force if needed. Of course it is unadvisable to do any action without a good reason, and kings know that. If a king, would randomly jail anyone that he dislikes, his authority will drop and then yes he will end up alone, which is not good. From the forum posts i saw so far, there was a good reason for everyone he jailed or plan to jail next.
he can, but if the ally wants to fight back? he can't just disband it? if it's a rebellion he needs to defeat them and make fitting actions once he wins if he does. Like do banishing, forgivance, killing.
Rhaegar, understand that elections are over , and continuing to disrespect the elected leader challenging his authority will end up in some sort of forcefull punishment, in md or in rl, it works the same way.
I realize that, but that doesn't mean I cannot voice my opinion about things. I am sorry that it turned out to be done in such poor way, few things combined when I said some words, but this is where we are. It doesn't make me any less right. I do not judge Firsanthalas for his acts, it was his time to be inconsidering, it is up for my character to make vendeta, and it is up to my character to do what he (as separate entity from me. Aysun once mentioned that we invest most of our personality into our first account, that is true, but me as an individual in RL and Rhaegar as a character are not the same.) thinks is right. My RL is my own business, thank you for your advice tho, I know what troubles with authority can make and I have thought about that, it is my own problem tho. Rhaegar made the decision, he will carry on with it.
Again, you get this wrong, very wrong, the fact that you could get out of jail on your own is not something you should consider as a counter method to the excommunication. Once in jail you are no longer your kings subject, but you are in jail and braking out of there (again) will end up in muhc much worse action, this time from me. If you have a way to get into the alliance, tehnically you could do that, if you are still in jail, BUT....that will make you a citizen of LR again, and LR king specifically stated that he won't allow that. Going on this path will probably end up bad for you, because you are now an ex-citizen and he is the king. An regarding the language, "Firsanthalas can just spam me to get back into prison" .. he isn't spamming he is just using the tools he has to reinforce a rule he has the right to put as a king. If he fails to do that on his own, it means he doesnt have enough tools to reinforce his decisions as a king so i will have to provide the needed tools eventually.
i wasn't reffering to escape the jail (i have the lho spell to get to paper cabin, i would leave like that like the first time, but due to announcments, I will serve my time or look for asylum, you were right to make things clear, for I do not like to assume rules if there aren't any yet announced, and that's fine, you have all the rights to make whatever rules you want, this is your own game, i respect that and that's why my messages are respectful, I just need the rules to be pre-set and clear, and expect a fair treatment for players who try to accomplish their goals within those rules, if tho ones are privileged, I would accept that as your right to create rules in your own game, but I would leave the gaming of it. I think Kings aren't made how they should, for it doesn't represent their real power, it represents the power of a privilege, it is my opinion, Kings should have tools indeed, but tools to carry out events that are happening who only need your approval so they can be applied in game mechanics, getting someone in jail from a distance just like that is a privileged power)
Unless i missunderstand what "role enforcing" means, the new king features, that were planned for a very very long time, are exactly for that. They allow kings to reinforce their decisions. If you attack a king , verbally , physically, etc, it is not called challenge it is called treason first of all, or more. Within Loreroot, you are not equal to Firsanthalas. Maybe you think you are because you have your own group of supporters , but remember that that group of supporters are under the kings authority, regardless if they like it or not.
it's what I responded to my last quote, I consider that privileged power (enforcing) cause he done something he shouldn't be able to do normally. -just like that-
Let me put it in a simple way .. it is like freedom, freedom doesn't mean anyone can do anything to anybody, that is just chaos. Freedom means actually organized lack of freedom (damn, i will quote myself) .. What makes md special is not that everyone can do whatever they like, but that they can do whatever they like while having a feedback or a reaction, good or bad, from the others inside it that do "whatever they like".
absolute freedom doesn't exist... yes I am familiar with that but it is in human's nature to aim to that freedom nonetheless. And yes that's what exactly I meant, gaining feedback on their actions, but with people having same options at the start (and becoming more powerful in time due their decisions, but in limits of reality)
I can't agree with you on this, if you care about LR you should respect its social structure and not aim to get rid of its leader so that YOU can do something else with it. You had/have that chance from within LR, and you could have done that without fighting against something, since there was nobody against you to fight with.
I wasn't aiming to get rid of him... my rant was a result of poor circuimstances like I said, but my aim wasn't to overthrow him, I said it there, I wanted some changes, I wanted him to make things clear about somethings and 'improve' in a way (from my angle of view), to follow what he said he will do.
Asking ME to give you a "chance" is like saying , fuck the king, fuck the other people in lr , i want things my way, lets ask mur for that directly. That means you do not actually respect anything in lr except what directly interests you. Otherwise you should think of asking LR to give you that chance, not ask me to override them and give you absolute power over LR "just so"
I am asking for feedback on my rebellion. I do not seek absolute power, I do not seek power over others. I see Loreroot as a great opportunity for me to invest some energy into, and create something. I love creating. As Rhaegar loves his homeland, and Rhaegar had doubts much earlier, Rhaegar also thinks that those who follow Firsanthalas are innocent, yet blinded, and Rhaegar never aimed to fight them. Rhaegar wished for this to happen differently, without this conflicts. But Rhaegar will defend his pride. sorry for double posting, (lots of people miss my edits) I realize I can do much with support of some... But I don't wish to do this in certain ways, not if I have no other option. To avoid bloodshed between my brothers and sisters against those who I called my own people, I challenge Firsanthalas to a duel, with results of solving this dispute.
  3. to be realistic, Firsanthalas is the king, but he doesn't have enough "army" to put me in jail, it's like a president of Mhmhmhmia who has no one around him, decides to imprison a general of the army. How da hell can he do that all by himself? (or a whole mob if you picture me as a villain) since I do have warriors with me, he should first defeat me to imprison me (or kill me if he wants) he also kicked me out of the Savelites Church just like that, where I have total support, so what's realistic in there? I like the part of asylum stated by Mur in the announcements, that's a trace of realism going on out there, but there should be option for people to fight without foreign influence. this way he can imprison every Savelite for 2 weeks... which is really weird. And it dissapoints me how all those 'Lorerootians' how they call themselves, act indifferent about one of their alliances (since as you all know, things don't solve by themselves, a Firs puppet will be put in charge or Church will be ruined for period of time unless they become army of poltroons which I doubt in the current squad of Savelites. ) So I ask to Mur now for my return into the Church with my loyalty points returned to normal (since I can get my own invite if needed, but apparently Firsanthalas can just spam me to get back into prison, so I ask for that to be normalized). He is maybe the king but he shouldn't have that much power over individuals via such features, if Savelites are destined to leave, then that may happen if my brothers and sisters wish it so, but my fight shouldn't be denied. So I ask you Mur, to return me to my place as leader of the Savelites so I can properly organize myself, as fitting. In my opinion, this last feature is role enforcing, and it isn't fitting, unless he defeats me or captures in a way, to your own special thing that brings many people here - that people make their own destiny in this realm without unnatural intrusions. My goal is to rebuild Loreroot and to organize it, if you Mur and the realm give me the chance to fight for this. For a better future... respectfully, Rhaegar, Grand Master of the Savelites Church.
  4. you wouldn't know me if you think it would stay on this Sharazhad. I curse this day to make me sharp my sword against my own, but this won't end here Firsanthalas, you just started a long journey. There are the ones who know about your treason on Loreroot from long ago, those who remember. The spirits of the old will hunt you down, usurper, and I'll do my best to please them, this is my promise.
  5. I hereby declare a rebellion against the false king of Loreroot. I didn't thought it will take this far, and kicking me out of Savelites on such a cowardly way, made the straw. let's see how firm your hand is.
  6.
What the hell? This seems nothing but a mindless rant against firsen
yes I see what it turned to be. Sad but true.
he got elected QED he already HAD the respect for that title, because YOU voted for him.
correction, "I" didn't vote for him.
So do something about it! Talk to him! or start your own unoffical one
You haven't been reading, of course we talked.
You quoting what a "King" is or isnt has no real point on the matter, They are called Kings but they have been DEMOCRACTICALLY elected. If you didnt want firs, it seems you are in the minority since he was VOTED into power. He wasnt put there, Each and every king were elected. Are you saying that he needs to gain more respect from already having being voted in as king?
making someone a leader for life is hardly democratic, and MD isn't democratic as the king feature wasn't democratically brought, the democratic thing about that was that people were able to choose the options. That's not the problem here. in any case, he was chosen to be king, meaning to lead Loreroot, it's not about rewarding people for being most achievable in their land, but to be the ones who would make the things happen for their land, that's the part of gaining respect as king.
Each and every LR person had a vote, im hopeing all of you used it, and You all had the chance to pick someone. If you Rheager wanted to be king, why didnt you go for it? Each land has one "god" like figure that can do what they like. They are not going to be perfect, but you voted for them, and since there was no other real competition in LR you are going to have to like it.
obviously, I'm trying to point that out and change that.
You seem to be out and out criticizing him here, If so i suggest you make a topic like "Firsen - bad king" or make a coup for Kingship, You cant have a back seat going "he is a bad king" and then not doing anything about it.
I'm criticizing him here so he can work to improve things that are going wrong or not going at all! It's not a matter of a personal dislike or anything like that, I'm hoping this will turn out to be productive. It's up to his reactions to my thoughts how the things will evolve, as you noticed, this only had started.
Again, come on. Either sit back, shut up and accept your king, Or openly rival him and not be rude about him in snide little comments inside a post.
wow, don't know but this reminds me of an invitation to prove my intentions from virtual world to reality, only you are taunting me with doing things in game instead of in forums... wow, really impressive Chewy as I said, I 'attacked' his behavior for him to work on changing some things. What will follow from his answers will shape my decisions.
If you didnt notice, The Main GG alliance all didnt want Yrth, they went against him, They didnt sit down and accept what he said, they did something different, and it worked very well. You dont HAVE to follow what he says, It just means it might be harder, but if you are stopped by someone who you quote as seeing you as "as [a] danger" then you surely dont have enough perserverance to follow through. Just because the land of LR doesnt offically sacntion it doesnt mean something cant be run. Your own personal efforts or endevors can be totally different from your place in your land.
yes, due to Grido's friendships and similar, he stepped up after Yrthilian kicked him out, and teamed up with other discontented GGers, so that really isn't a good example of a good-timing-revolutionary-squad.
If you didnt relise, Prettymuch every alliance has a hidden section that only their alliance, and Mur, can view. Now if you doubt that your king is not talking to everyone in the land, then perhaps you need to ask him for one of these such forums for all of loreroot?
I don't really trust entirely the objectivity of moderators of this forum. It is natural for humans to be curious, I'm sure you were too in your own moments.
If your "creative minds" are "going to waste if they are not pushed in the right direction" then you lack Perseverance, self planning and if you are relying on your king to tell you exactly what to do then you are severely mistaken what an Kind is mean to do
it isn't about him commanding people on what to do, it's about making options for people to step up. Creating some kind of lands plans on infrastructure (or whatever plans there could be for a king to make for the land), goals, and next part is easy, organizing of the land towards making those goals. Yet, there is no plan.
  7. This will be a lengthy one, but I need to explain myself to avoid as much misinterpretations as possible. This went too far anyway, but we're where we are. to make few things sure: this is my opinion, and I'm trying to make improvements for my homeland here by starting some things and not "charging" at anyone (Firs) to get killed or whatever. I answered arrogantly cause I got sick of the situation, and this is how I think about it. @ Yrth: heh, it's kinda ironic that you correct my typos or bad expressions since I noticed you care less about that meant it as going through the whole process of scanning, editing, modifications, 'replacement parts'. @the rest: now, I understand and know that they are perfectly right from your points of view, Mya and Mike, if you take things for granted, we have a King, obey him to the word, etc. In my opinion, he got elected, thus he needs to work his way for people to respect his title for a reason. Loreroot has 3 developed alliances, that are active, have their own structures and background. How da hell should we voice our ideas, opinions, anything, if we don't have forums of our own, if we don't have a council where MORE people would share THEIR own thoughts and reasons, since loreroot is made of a 3 different factions! Cause that is a difference with Necrovion for example. Not sure how it goes with Jester, but before, Khalazdad's dynasty, they are chosen by the shades to represent them, shades who are the ultimate power of Necrovion, so they can fit the land how they want basically, its like it was theirs completely, private property, you can't defy the shades, they're > you, etc. But Loreroot doesn't have something like that, and to drop a, in essence divine figure (cause that's basically the definition of a king, you can't doubt his actions... etc.) and expect everyone to play along, 'you just happen to be the perfect one, god forbids if you have different opinion then him, he shapes our future' is close to absurd... It's different if you have a figure who would be a representative of Loreroot for Mur, who would be able to react quickly, make own decisions etc, different than the 'supreme ruler' who basically owns the land. Loreroot [s]doesn't[/s] shouldn't be that way, since you can't form idea of one man and alliance into a 3 different ones. Firsanthalas, I think, knows that well (it's up to the human element of the kings feature after all to make them more fitting towards their land, not the feature itself.), and his answer to it wasn't to do something to unite the essences of factions in a way, but just to avoid getting in conflict over it at all, doing nothing. (cause, on Loreroot's government structure, he did nothing. Congratulations for his own personal works of coop with Kriskah, and similar, but this is not about that.) Firsanthalas says he can be easily approached. Ok. I won't deny he was good with some things. But in all of the suggestions and talks, there was a tone of skepticism, like 'what he wants to accomplish with this now, what's the catch'. Do you Firs, saw me as danger or what I don't know, but I noticed it and it evolved into this, cause of that skepticism you built skepticism for you in me. the way I see it, as being supposedly one of people in Loreroot who can be counted as having some decision power, this got denied cause, it wasn't a bad idea, but I haven't asked for approval. The way I see it, there aren't number of individuals who can make some decisions for the land (of Loreroot, all lands have different nature) other than the king himself (if the thing doesn't contradict the nature of the land radically - and this haven't, why wouldn't fitting representatives be able to create things?), tho it should definitely. Well that's the problem, idea got banned cause the "supreme ruler" didn't approve it, for everything related to Loreroot must be approved by him, which sucks () due to diversity of LR people and its specific nature. don't think he didn't know about all those issues, he did cause I talked about with him, he just had lack of will to get troubled by it, to actually make a structure or forums to announce his things to all of us (and I don't know the exact details of the past events when LR forums were a problem, but to avoid confusion, this is not running away from MD, making secret stuff away from public MD forums and so on, it's just kinda lame if everyone else can see what are you trying to make in your own homeland, or when idea is in progress and not finalized and needs help of other individuals, it doesn't have the same effect if it's announced in MD with full project finished, and due to major difference in time zones of LRians, you can't expect people to meet up and talk in game - that would certainly be much more realistic and better in any case for the game.) Loreroot has many people (maybe most populated of lands in MD) and 3 independent alliances, with many creative minds going to waste if they are not pushed into the right direction, the options opened for them, etc. That's my point and I hope this incident will have a result as improvement of things and realization of the issues in Loreroot. edit: I don't want to replace the king, I just want some things to change. If I believed that Firsanthalas is a (total) failure then I would act right a way. He just needs to wake up
  8. uhm ok, having one question. (although due to 'complications' it will probably removed any way, I'm asking for future projects) would this be ok? Lore archer can be found at max level when going against Lorerootian guards. So people wouldn't get it spoiled if they saw it. And I doubt anyone of the players younger then those few days when they find out about Lore guards would see it anywhere. there are few creatures that represent their lands. Angiens, shades, knators, lore archers... Can they be used as symbols for their lands in some related events? and is it ok for something to be copied from MD (and used for MD of course, with explanation of who the owner is, etc. etc.) if it's not spoilerish? example: it is not exactly a location but part of it - Maple Road guardians. They wear a shield with a tree-symbol, and I like it. Can it be used as part of LR symbols? or details from MB gate as symbol of Marind Bell. or details from gates of ages as symbol of GG or details from howling gates as symbol of Necro. they aren't spoilers for they are open to access right away. And a lot of MD artworks I guess can be used to symbolize things related to it in a way even people's avatars, like, silly example, making of Morquor's Crusade, using a logo that is based on his avatar (he doesn't have one, tho it's not the point ), would that be alright? I understand these are small questions but I need to make sure, you weren't very strict and since you are already here... so here's this to avoid missinterpretations of 'common sense' also, should drawings also aim to avoid spoilers? (like... drawing your own version of angien if the original artworks aren't allowed to be used. would that be allowed?)
  9. It was not an oversight. Last time I mentioned creating of organization of something like this was denied (tho I asked for Firsanthalas' support as well, as King of Loreroot, to make it practical as a guild as well, perhaps form some sort of rewards) tho the answer was basically that we must not make such a thing cause certain people will feel bad for being classified as "not worthy" when trying to apply to it (well that's life. The idea is that it is an gathering of elite fighters, and in my opinion it would actually moralize people to work harder to gain such a status as member of it, then to be demoralized, since it isn't made in a way to "buzz people off" but to show them what to do for them to earn their position.) I did overreacted about this (was in the moment) but I am not lying. The fact is that nothing happened in the past year concerning Loreroot. We are supposed to have a king, to lead us right, and not so someone gets the royal status (at least, that's how the mentality works in Loreroot. Or at least it had.). If every thought get's drowned cause of the possibility of small difficulties... then we aren't gonna work ever, am I right? So I tried to do something. This was first of my planed to-make guilds, and the goal was to make people focus on their roles as Lorerootians, be motivated to build up the strengths they see as their main thing. (strengths as in general) I didn't want it to go through the process of papirology and editing so it becomes something I don't want to be at the end, with a good experiance of everything else denied earlier due to possible 'complications'. furthermore you're comparing this issue with the one with MD art, is totally different. Mur you can't contact that easy, and I certainly am not first who would adopt one of MD artworks to symbolize something related to MD. Never were there any troubles, never are there now (at least with Mur), and I was a bit annoyed to be 'spammed' cause of it since the issue happened recently with Ailith and also Blackwood, with ailith saying she will contact Mur about it. It was in public forums, Mur made no reply, and made no announcements against the used art, so I assumed everything is in order (to add to all the other reasons I said already)
  10. to answer your observation, Yrth. This realm is working on people's decisions. (unless Mur will enforce people's roles - which is contradicting to the idea that people shape their own fate of characters and roles here. - by those standards, Firsanthalas, if he really wants so, can accuse me of treason and try to force the outcome he wants to happen - which would of course rely on his own power to keep things in order, that's what being king is about.) I have not layed any oath to Firs or accepted his authority since I never approached him of taking the LR citizenship - I was already there before his kingship. So that rule doesn't apply. (and even if it did, I would break a social rule, not game rule, not unless Mur will enforce those people roles, but then the meaning of being king would lose its weight if that has to be enforced by the creator of the game) so you do not dare to bring mention of treason to me, Yrthilian, not knowing anything about this, furthermore, you have no dealings with this argument. Unless you want to be part of this? It's the natural right of a human, to make decisions. And you seem to know that, you made plenty in your past Loreroot never functioned with an autocratic monarch, but if it does have one, then that one needs to have enough power to be one. (unless voting makes an autocratic monarch... which is a bit... weird for an autocratic monarchy.) And autocratic it is since, there is no other ruling branch of the kingdom except Firs himself. And honestly, I am not that against autocracy, but it has to be done properly. So it comes back again to inaction, inaction of an autocrat or, if he really doesn't want it to be that way as he speaks, total inaction of a semi-democrat (saying basically that he is making semi-democratic goverment), so I am here to change that in Loreroot. I was always here to work with, I never have been asked. applying that, I haven't broke any game rules. Again I may have been blind for all this time. This is how the realm works, our own decisions? tell me if I am wrong Yrthilian? Cause that's how I picture this realm. Fictional world (with its own purpose and background of course) where you can pursue your own role without interferance in a way. That's how it is said on the adds. If it isn't that way, then I can just leave and do the same here, take a piece of paper and write "King Rhaegar of all the lands, he's the winner of the game, yes!!!" @Firs of course I never liked it, you and I had issues before that. That's why I didn't like it, I didn't trust you, tho I have decided to let that go and try to work together. You didn't. There was the same idea about this order if you really are forgetting it so easily. Of course, that, like any other of my ideas, got rejected, cause it contradicted your own world of thoughts.... I was hoping you would actually do something. well you didnt. You just kept that paranoia on me, that I will come to get you (which I could/can if I want/ed but my goal is to make Loreroot great, not myself, so you can cut the crap.) you haven't even completed the own summarization of your candidacy for kingship!!! Why? Cause you were uneased to do anything cause I would do something or whatever? Things are going to change, you just ended the tabu. This is not against you. Loreroot needs to evolve from the stage of a-year-ago. Make it happen, or I will. If you do have true intentions, you have my support, tho I know you are too much in your misty thoughts to accept the fact that I might be of a help, we can work together, or we can pursue this conflict until one of use perishes into the clouds of dust. Your choice. edit: I haven't saw your post Tarquinus, was writing this too long. My point still stands tho. To Firs: I do not want to disturb your vacation. We can talk about this when you get back home. You can think about this till then.
  11. Do not assume what my thoughts are. The guild will stay, unless you know something that I don't regarding this (in that case, you are free to approach to talk to me, I'm around.) since you really have no authority over this, and I haven't announced this group as part of the Kingdom of Loreroot. As "attempting to to represent or hold some title of the land", I already am one of its representors as leader of the Savelites Church, so I have no "ego" desires to do this. I want to make Loreroot HAPPEN, do something, things you haven't done in the time of your reign for the record, and it is not too late yet, we can all work together to unite us and function as a stabile community, or we can do same thing like we have done in the past year. Do nothing. "inaction is a weapon of mass destruction". [unless I'm breaking a game rule by forming a group... that kind of rules/if any like that exist/ aren't written exactly on a wall for me to read. Which would be really silly, since this is based on actions of people on to their character, it's a social thing.]
  12. as you can see this issue has been going out for some time. I wouldn't like anything more then to talk with Mur about this kind of things, what is allowed and not, can this be done, etc. but I can't... have no ways of contacting him for sure, since he is very hard to establish contact with, with him dealing with much important business around MD itself then 'random' chatter (and not to think of all the other duties he has.) With him, in my thoughts, being impossible to contact, thus overlooked as an option and with the fact that this certainly isn't the first (or anyway near first) time for something like this to be done in MD, I simply announced it. Never were there any issues with this kind of thing except the mettling noses of MD's own members (grido and the watcher - are they even the same person, I do not know.) - no offense grido All this were public and easy to terminate from the very first step, if Mur (owner of this) wanted to, and he didn't. So you have no right to make decisions instead of him, decisions he could have done long time ago. edit: and I repeat again, all he needs to say "this is wrong, I won't approve it" and I'll remove it. It is his own creation, this realm of MD, and his own rules and I respect that. All I ask now is for those that affect our acts are made public, so I know WHEN I am crossing my boundaries or not, and what to do. he says that we should apply "common sense" when doing something. well this is common sense, art piece from MD taken as a symbol of an organization/guild/whatever that is part of MD, is not wrong.
  13. why not? I am forbidden to gather up with some people? the fact that is only for the Lorerootians doesn't change anything. I am not violating any 'personal' law of yours by making groups, but if you do hold the grudge cause of it against me for I have not talked with you about it - you feeling left out and all, personally you never talked with me about things either so, you are free to hunt me down if you wish so. I didn't see the need to talk with you, for I do not have the duty to in this case, if I needed your support for it, I would ask it. It is up to you will you support the cause or not, due to issues you have or not.
  14. if it's easy, doesn't make it any less art. as any of DJs works are unique, so is this, and so can anyone do to repeat it tho it is unlikely. and of course I want you to do it. Since you are saying we are doing something wrong here we need to change. Give me the profs (as dst likes to say) that I need to change it, for I think I do not need to, since, I need to repeat it for the 10th time, this MD artwork is used for MD purposes, no one claimed its drawings as his own, and owner of this site never said that people can't use it in such a way, and people have been using it for a long time.
  15. this has been made, and since you do not want to do anything with this, then it is now completely non governmental. Everything with the honorary guild rules remains the same. All Lorerootians are still welcome to try.
  16. so, by your definition, making artworks combining other works, isn't artwork? you do not know what art is, then. furhermore, it is not your place to be concerned over this. This wasn't done in secret, so you do not have to speak instead of Mur as the 'investigator' who found out about it. You also haven't quoted any copyrights that clearly show WHAT we aren't allowed to do, you were just making random thoughts. But, no matter the law or not, if Mur tells us what he wants to be done with it, I will do it (remove or leave the art.), since I am not that kind of person to continue the blind following of a law and abuse its holes. This is about... common sense.
  17. and what's the issue of using MD symbols for MD events? since Mur never mentioned EVER anything against that kind of acts... and you're in a visit to him, so you can ask him directly about opinion on this, without bringing number of hypothesis
  18. MD artwork used for symbols of our guilds/gatherings as MD characters. (I personally will never use any of artworks from MD for something outside of this realm) If that is a problem, Mur just message me and I'll change whatever that needs to be changed. Tho in that case I would please you to make me sure what are the limits (what is allowed and what is not, since for example using other people's avatars in papers or whatever would also classify as art stealing?)
  19. --picture removed due to following events-- I announce founding of the Rangers of Loreroot. From now on, it will stream to collect the finest fighters of Loreroot, its elite army, with high requirements to join yet at same time also a school for those who want to be 'worthy'. It's first leader is Sparrhawk, its structure will be explained to its members, and developed based on its increasing size. Contacting him if you want to join. summary: ---- it is an honorary guild, for those who don't know, it will NEVER be a new alliance ---- ---- Loreroot citizens only ---- ps. thank you blackwood forest for making the logo
  20. happy belated birthday! (was off the town for couple of days)
  21. Avatar will be sold on Monday, if no new offers by then. (every new offer from now postpones the sale for 3 days)

    Stop Ggg

there are much of things to read here which I skipped so I'll just share my opinion if anyone cares. What's wrong in GGG is that it creates sort of contest in people "ooooh I gotta train so that player X doesn't get better than me!" and a player starts wasting his/her all of time there instead of concentrating on some other things in the game. It's one thing if you go there to fill your needs and max a creature, and it's other if you are there endlessly farming stats point by point or similar. "Don't take more than a mouthful" Just like No One said, you cant ban someone from hitting other players, but you also can't ban players for being in same location doing same ritual in defense... >.> The thing is, GGG doesn't have a solution, it doesn't have a clear answer to this problems. You'll just have to settle to one of the options, and naturally, there won't ever be a situation where everyone will be happy. If possibly, my suggestion would be that GGG stays what it is, but the time for a player in it gets limited on, lets say 3 hours per 2 weeks (when SPells get recharged, then the timer resets too. The number is random btw.), so people use it really for what they need, and not for endless farming, and it would give them time to focus on other branches of the game
  23. lovely if the event lasts longer (like a week or two, and doesnt end by the end of this week anyway) I would like to be part of this finally some use for my offensive mp6 spells edit: btw, no need for silver, I'll find my own way to one side.
  24. just one question for now. are spells allowed?
