I second Ledah's request, although my reasons are different. I know nothing of the trades he mentioned, but during the years I wasted a good amount of time "mentoring" so called new players, only to discover they were alts.

I'd suggest to have Ledah replace the elf he killed. All we need is a nice costume and a proper make-up, I bet Confused Santa won't notice the difference. 😄

A few months ago I tried to repair the balloon as well. If I remember correctly, there was an issue related to paper (being labelled "item" instead of "resource", or was it the other way around...). Long story short, the amount was not showing correctly, but I was assured the balloon would get the right amount and work as intended (I think Fyrd mentioned that). Anyway, should you feel stuck, keep in mind there is another way to leave the island and reach the mainland. Best of luck.

It seems easier to me to let shapes emerge rather than draw them directly. Each new "push" to the flow seem to dilute the previous ones so I'm trying to toy with non-conflicting streams and let them work until they gather a sufficient amount of "sediments". Thicker sediments can be moved later for details. One-eyed Whatever can be replicated by drawing a clockwise circle (obviously imprecise) over and over again. In time, this creates the outer form. Once it looks stable enough you draw a smaller, counterclockwise circle inside of it. It's important that the inner flow doesn't interfere with the outer flow. I'm trying a similar approach to obtain a tree:

That makes a lot of sense. Years ago when I was discussing this with Azull he mentioned the square, but I probably didn't get what he meant back then. Now it seems clearer! All good things come to an end... 🤪

Have you checked the "creature" branch of your inventory? It should be created in there.

Thanks a lot Aelis, this is very interesting. I wanted to throw in some more candies for the mind but it seems I lost access to some parts of the forums. Therefore, I can only share the crumbs I noted down in my docs, with no links for validation. Sadly, I can't always discriminate what's been taken from official sources and my speculations around them. The traveler is a "reverser", I don't have a better name for it yet but there are symbols that counter another and a third type of symbols that can double or reverse an other, thats the traveler, not shade, not angien, yet causes the apparition of a tainted angien. Some of you provided essential explanations to the key question I asked, but the mystery is still open. Question was: "what do you add to something to obtain its opposite?" (I'm pretty sure this comes from Mur) At first I thought the answer to this last question was the 0 point, the gap that opens a circle (see attachment) and might create two different directions/poles. From a mathematical point of view, the answer would be different. The question can be put as: A (something) + X = -A (opposite of A) Therefore, X = -2A Which symbol can double AND reverse? This is a very strong image. With the new graphic interface I can't access my friend list anymore. When I click on "Friends" nothing pops up anywhere. When I right-click on "Friends" to open it in another window I can't use it to write messages. Many times I get "You cannot send a message back because the PM is too old" Sending PMs in game is a true pain as of late.

The quest has been launched 2 weeks ago, 2 weeks of break from my patrolling duty. As soon as day 174 starts, I'll resume my usual activity.
