We had 23 people meet us at GoE, and many of them followed the INVASION!

I formally claim the lands of the Dead for the people of Marind Bell and the East!

I enjoyed this immensely.

I believe we now have a ruler who rules 3 lands.

I believe the success of the invasion is irrefutable, so there is no choice but to cede the new scenes of the Dead to Marind Bell and the East.

I do believe, however, that Necrovion has a strong claim to Berserker's Charge so would like to request stewardship over that scene and the mausoleum/tomb next to it.

the east has a very close relationship with the dead via The Caretakers, so i see no objections. i am clearly under sound mind and have not been influenced to say this

awesome, when i get some time i will make you all citizens of that land, dead that is. You will have a lot of fun collecting marigolds to get out from what i heard.. lots of bugs to fix too, you won;t get bored. What i nice initiative, and foolish me thinking it will be hard to find volunteers..

Perhaps that is what BSR means when he talks about the people of the Dead. The Caretakers have taken care of them for decades.

Even though I missed some of the fiery bits, as a Caretaker and long-standing (not old!) citizen of the East, I personally think this has been a lot of fun!

As Kaya and Syrian already pointed out, the East has a close relationship with Death through the Caretakers, so I find it very natural that the East should take on the stewardship of The Dead - even if temporary. I applaud our gracious Duke for taking the initiative, and everyone who supported it.

Now, as the current Caretakers leader, I would like to issue an official statement:

In light of the events described above and their aftermath, as announced in https://magicduel.com/page/Announcement/view/6752,
the Caretakers will turn our attention to tending to the land of The Dead and its people, just as we have been doing with the Lands of the East over the years.
This will be particularly important during the current transitional period, when the self-revival route may become unavailable and the deceased may find themselves unassisted.

For the time being, I urge revive item bearers to aid any dead person who wishes to be revived. If you do, please let me know, as I can offer compensation for your efforts.

While I respect the ambition that some ppl from LOTE clearly have I dont see how you want to claim stewardship of The Dead when all you did was invade it without showing any respect which lead us to a mess.......

It really seems he wants to own everything bit by bit

I guess it is good that I overslept and couldn't join.

With the graveyard being an extension of Necrovion, humans barging in there and trying to claim stuff certainly raises some eyebrows. And we can see from the announcement that your little stunt got the shades' attention... All I'm saying is, don't cry to me if you get yourselves kicked out again.

Out of Character:

The comments made in game, alongside the comments made on this post were "in character". This was the first phase of a new planned adventure log where the intention was to create more opportunities for action, adventure, and activity in MagicDuel. @Blackshade Rider was aware of this and encouraged to roleplay similarly.

Roleplay is the heart of MagicDuel and the CARD storyline showed that people have a thirst for that.

I received so many positive comments about yesterday that I am pleased I did it.

Although Mur stated that it is "reachable by mortals" he was clearly upset about the roleplay, therefore I have cancelled the follow-on story I had planned. I am sure good will come of it, Mur said the current graveyard "needed a reconstruction" so I look forward to it's changes spurred on by this evennt.
