TC is broken in many ways. This topic though is not about how broken this is, its about something a lot more important. Many young players or even some old ones find TC competitions as a way to get entrance into places that would normally be off limits for them. Despite the fact that when you carry a torch you cant do anything inside the land, you can always just wait inside it untill the competion ends and then you are free to do whatever you like. Also the draining ap system to not allow you to move fast is also broken. You can use 1 free credit and just move on like you have the required ap again. So people can take a torch and run like hell. In the past week, two of the Liberty's Lib Army have given away WPs. From what I know about the Lib Army, Liberty gave control of them over to Yrth. Yrth, as king, can grant WP codes to players to award to others, but why would he give these codes to alts? And why different alts? O.o I am not making any accusations, but bringing up something I see as fishy, and perhaps someone can enlighten me if there isn't anything fishy going on.

So, I was bored earlier today. I was looking through all the links at the top of the MagicDuel page, and noticed the Treasury link. And within that link, there was the Artisan's Treasury. Currently it has 130 unspent credits. I joined MD in September and the avatar page had a perfect avatar for me. I was not able to access the shop at the time, so I hoped and prayed it would not be purchased before I could acquire it. I do not know if it was purchased, but around the end of September or beginning of October my entire level 0 avatar collection was shuffled (apparently due to a bugfix) and it was gone. I recently opened the level 1 avatar shop, and I already spent at least $35 credits shuffling with no success finding the missing avatar. I am hoping someone will find it and help me acquire it. I am treading near the edge in some of my quest creations. Thought this would be a good place to discuss. The issue is finding a balance between being totally unique and creative, and trying to fit into the MD realm and it's rich imagery. Step one was using MD figures in my riddles - Drachs, birds, Windy's Pub, lore guards, etc. This is balanced against making up the distant realm of "Queen Esmerelda" as one of my prior abodes. I am simply curious as to how the community as a whole views scheduling of events. I admit there is a courtesy to it, but it isn't like people are all vying for the same day to hold their event. As far as I can see, people have it fairly spaced out. Now, when it comes to continuous events, such as Story Night for example [it was the only one I can come up with off the top of my head], wouldn't that hold... 'scheduling' rights of sorts? Considering that the events are always planned a good month or more in advance, I think that people would at least hold courtesy to people's events, correct? I would like to kindly ask the mp5 population (particularly people with large vitality) to refrain from using angiens to attack me. I'm at 34 million personal xp. About 2 days ago, I was at the cap. I have not attacked since then. Overnight today, I gained 4 million xp by idling at the GoE with non-damage defenses. As you will know if you do attack me, I in fact pretty much always have a non-damaging defense ritual set up, usually one that gives xp loss. Considering this, and the fact that XP is harder to lose now with the GoS emptied, especially with my low max vit of 61k, I'm worried. For the last few weeks or whatever, I've been watching and involved in the Necrovion rebellion, and have noticed a problem with the rebel system in general; if one is to rebel, they can't actually do anything without the help of Mur. The only thing that has gotten done throughout the Necrovion rebellion is bickering that hasn't gotten anybody anywhere, and Necrovion remains stagnant. If all GG citizens were to rebel tomorrow, would it actually get anything done? Or could Yrth simply say "Meh, I don't need you people" and continue his business? Well, I try to avoid put it public, but this guy making a lot of fun of the game system. This soon of the b*** is the ONLY reason why Head Contest is delaying for more than a week. Some people will say that I am doing this just to win HC, I don't care for this lying anymore. I would like the community's opinion on how they would like a possible Legend Night to be done. From what I know, the controversy last time I formulated an idea about this, it was because it was naming new vets as Legends, or such? Anywho. The two options that I have now, are the following: Make Legend Night about speaking of past legends, people who have gone, people considered as legends still in MD, etc. Or.. Make Legend Night about the people choosing new legends and writing about them in an unofficial capacity so as to present writer and winner with a reward. ^ I think a significant thing is that MD does not have the mechanics one would normally first think upon to try and use to cause havoc- we cannot raid a place, we cannot kill anyone, we cannot destroy structures, we cannot set up destructive structures to cause damage to opposition, etc. Basically, we can sit around, plan, foment, and complain at the gates and that's about it. I know one person had an idea to leak liquid dust about no man's land simply to cause havoc, but how would that be done outside of roleplay that a handful of people may or may not see or even take seriously? @Sparr, personally i don't like the insinuation that LHOs are such for personal benefit, and to assume that a non-LHO player does it for no benefit, is, to say the least, silly (nothing against you Tarq), players do like gaining adepts you know? But then that is my opinion, and you have yours. EDIT: removed the MD Awards list, cos no reason for it to be in this bit. Also, for clarity, as Amoran asked about it, the reference to Tarq is purely that Sparr nominated him, i stated "nothing against" him as i didn't want to imply that Tarq was doing it for the reasons (or other) listed.

I haven't tested this yet myself, but I never saw anywhere that alts cannot be Rebels. I think this is a big concern, because somebody could create a lot of new accounts, join a land for a month, and then switch to Rebels. On a personal note, this is making me paranoid about letting any new players in, and that can't be good for my Land or the new players themselves. I propose only the oldest active account be allowed to Rebel.

I got the idea while having a conversation with our resident talking tree, Awiiya that while we are going to have a tree in the gazebo, why not get a bunch of people together and decorate the two most well known trees of MD namely Awiiya and Bob. I'm pretty sure Awiiya would enjoy the fun and Bobs been a tad neglected since coming back to life since the last time someone tried to chop him down. For Bob , I think it'd be good if we could gather around at some time when Z is awake so he can be part of it and of course it'd be great if we could get lots of people gathered when Awiiyas awake.
