A little chatting today in the park brought up an idea what we could do some sort of an event and make a bonfire or something simmilar. Using branches and other resources like it. We would use heat to fire it up and maintain it or so. I'm putting it out here so that people can put their ideas to it and to see how many would actually be willing to participate and contribute. And all the details will be worked out (location, date, any additional events etc) with the help of everyone I hope.

I decided I have enough and I am going to say exactly what I think. In some ways this should be private between Mur and myself. But in other ways, no it deserves to be public. Over the past few years, Events organised by mur have tended to have moved towards a format where the location is not announced until hours or minutes before the event. This is all perfectly fine for events where you need to be online and talking, but this has also applied to vet of the year medal celebrations among other important events whereby you only get your "reward" if you can log on at a specific time and get to a specific location before mur leaves. With MD spread across every timezone, there will always be times when an event location is announced, organized and held all before someone wakes up, and they miss it. Currently all players at MP5 who idle in a public location risk to lose skills by getting skill damage. What about the opposite: Why not giving a reward for being in a public place? A possible solution would be to give a small stats increase, say 0.1% for 8 hours. I hope this would reinforce more in game fighting and also less people hiding in remote places. Still, this is not an idea ready to be implemented, more a debate, thats why I post it here. I'm curious to hear your opinions.
